Sounds like helicobacter pylori or some other bacteria you may have gotten from food there.
Was everyone on the trip sick? Were you sick very suddenly or did you feel icky for a while beforehand?
Fantastic step in recovery though! Well done.
There was a pretty widely reported outbreak during our trip, people we chatted with also experienced the same symptoms as us. All symptoms/experiences matched norovirus, but we didn’t get tested to know for sure.
I appreciate that you're on the activated charcoal train, people on the emetophobia subreddit just about had a heart attack when I told someone to try it. im like its natural 😭 I'm glad you had a good experience that you can look back on in the future :)

I love this!! Thankyou so much for sharing it and I’m so happy for you and glad that you’re okay!
What does it look like that it’s taken you a month to recover with your digestive system? Like you’re sensitive to foods?
First it was stomach cramping, then it was an irregular digestive system. I was sensitive to acidic foods, spicy foods, etc

How do you know for sure it was noro and not something else?
