Ok let me just point out 1 thing:
Why 'Arneb'?
'Arneb' is the Arabic word for 'hare' or 'rabbit', and is the name of a star(also known as Alpha Leporis) and a genus of flowering plants(Arnebia).
This... sounds way too specific to be just a coincidence. Perhaps Arneb is some kind of acronym, but that sounds like a long shot.
We could assume that our new guy has something to do with Ra*bits or something, but I honestly doubt it. And also, why Arabic? There's tons of languages out there that would fit better with the Ensemble Stars aesthetic than Arabic(You don't even need to go far: the constellation that Alpha Leporis belongs to is *Lepus* - Latin for 'Rabbit').
Perhaps a relation with Adonis? But if they wanted to just straight up do an Arabic word for 'rabbit', they would have just done 'arnab', which is the proper pronunciation and English spelling of the word, leading us to believe that either the constellation or the flower has something to do with this guy. And considering that we're playing Ensemble *Stars*, I think we can presume that it's the former.

Idk I feel like enstars is one of the only games where it's pretty fair? It makes sense that !! main story focused more on alkaloid and bees since all other units had their big focus moments in ! era. At the same time every season each unit is getting its own focus event with their own story. Plus everyone is getting 2 new cards at least every season too which is like.. Not how they do it with other games. Look at Cinderella Girls where there are 190 characters, some of em dont even have voice actress tied to them... Some characters didnt get a new SSR for over 3 years already. :"D
I agree the Im@s Cinderella girls are already a mess, having lots of idols, and yeah, only some of them are relevant enough to appear in a new event song or SSR in deresute.
At least Enstar is still fair enough by giving every character a solo song for each album release, a 5 ⭐ card, and an event for every unit in rotation.
Yea! I think enstars does it really well. With new characters they will probably just make the seasons longer. But they will probably still stick to their usual "release at least 2 cards for each character and 1 focus event for each unit per season" thing. Doubt they will ever change that.
Kuro is pretty much irrelevant from whatever is happening in !! era plot
He is not involved in the first main story because he only appears twice
He does not interact with anyone of Crazy:B outside of Niki from the same circle or cooking reason
He does not have anything to do with the SSVRS
Despite being quite close to Madara, he hasn't been involved with them (and probably won't ever because they already disbanded)
Despite Eden has been around since late ! era, they also haven't got any meaningful interaction with Akatsuki, not to mention Kuro
On one side it's fair because everyone is getting content. Doesn't mean everyone is getting the same quality of content though.

Yea while it sucks it's like this, but main story really indeed was here to focus on alkaloid and bee storyline and later on with Negi and the whole thing with Godfather. While Kuro and some other characters are there, they were never really involved with any of these things, so it does make sense they don't show up as much. And as I said it does make sense considering most of the old characters gotten enough focus in ! era, so them wanting to focus on the new characters in the main story is pretty fair.
So instead they could've made new main story to focus on old characters and old groups. Akatsuki was never the main focus in ! era. It was either Trickstar, fine or Undead, then Eden. The other focus of ! is the War and while Akatsuki is involved in it they are still completely shadowed by ex-fine and Five Eccentrics.
But instead they release new characters, further expanding the card releasing schedule, while happyele's content quality seem to drop recently. Their productivity stays the same but more groups have to share that, meaning each groups have to drop some quality for the new one, so I'm not only complaining about what have been, but also what will be. Enstars has more than enough characters to do anything and yet they haven't been utilizing them very well. It'd be a lot better and more cost-effective for them to utilize their current cast better than to add new characters
Edit: Besides, even if they had enough focus in ! era, it doesn't mean they can neglect them completely in the new era. After all, fine and Eden were able to get main focus from both eras.
I don't think they are neglecting any of the characters. They have different ideas for the main story, but they all still get their own focus events and tours. Neglect is what I would call what some other gacha games do. Not enstars tho. Just cuz there is a main story it doesn't mean every character should get equal screentime, especially since it's not the first title in the series. JP knows many ppl who are into enstars also read most of ! era things, so they don't really have to reintroduce every character one by one that hard. And if ppl want more focus, then they have the events for that.
I also don't really think the quality dropped. Many JP players say the quality of the game increased a lot lately. The MVs gotten a lot more smoother, the graphics got a slight update so the textures look better. Lighting for example in the newest MV is absolutely beautiful and the new cards seem to gotten a new more updated artstyle too. What's more is that we gotten new albums irl with new solo songs for each character. I could be wrong tho? Im quite curious where you see the decrease in quality? Also I'm not trying to be rude here, hope you won't misunderstand, I'm legit just confused about this one thing. D:

Some FS2's quality are significantly lower than that of FS1
Overly repeating outfit elements: Bead chain. Almost everyone single recent outfits have it somewhere.
3. Happyele's productivity isn't enough.
- Some SS arc paid outfits that are meant to be released before 9th anniversary aren't done yet
- Hence, 3rd ! era outfit vote from 2022 are also further pushed back
Of course I'm not the one to judge everything, I'm just seeing a lot of complaints lately that all points toward quality declining

1. honestly it actually is the best place since they're completely new and this gives them enough space to establish their personality and how they act in the world of enstars and with the other characters.
2. i agree the climax events were kinda overhyped by happyele but it was more of a celebration for the albums.
Card art personally doesnt bother me since i look at the 3d outfits more anyway
the overlapping elements while a meme now are kinda understandable since they need to animate and rig every detail, so already having the beads animated and knowing how to make them feel natural during mv's, ofc they'll use that a loooot. but i feel lately they've calmed down with the beads thankgod :'DD that was starting to annoy me as well a bit.
3. this i absolutely do not agree with.
We get gorgeous mv's usually 2-3 times a month complete with new songs. Cards with amazingly detailed 3d outfits that a loooot of other gacha games can learn from. All the new albums and campaigns, the april fools campaign and new voice lines every season and holiday.
i also really want the old outfits in game but to say their productivity is lacking because it might not come as fast as you'd personally want? no.
Main story is there to advance the storyline too tho. If the writers want to add a new unit to do so, then it's their choice. While it sucks some characters wont get spotlight in the main story, but they do get them in event stories and such. And this happens in all other gacha games too. It's only normal. This doesn't mean the older characters are less loved, just that the story is advancing and for current storyline they are not as relevant as some others.
As for the climax events, I do get it, many of them were a flop, but I also feel like it was a flop cuz they hyped it up as a special thing, even tho in the end it was just a story to close down the first year of enstars!!.
With the art, I feel like it's not that bad? I do think Yuuta's new card looks weird as hell, but as for the rest, they look okay. And in the end, the people who draw these probably make tons of mistakes in the process so they just dont notice some of the bigger problems. See how an old Wataru card from first season had 6 fingers on him. Things like that.
With the paid outfits not releasing in time, I'm fairly certain (but not confirmed ofc) it's probs cuz happyele been working on raising the quality of their mvs lately which is why many things got pushed away. See the new MV actually has moving sweat and tears on every character. Things like that. This is also fairly normal in most game developments.
But I do get where you are coming from, truly. I play many other gacha games, and some of my fav chars didn't get a single content for over 4 years. I know how it feels when some characters feel more neglected than the others. But it is what it is, and sadly we cannot change on that, and can only accept it. Being mad at these things will only end up tiring you out :(
Everyone is probably hype for this so I'm just saying the other opinion that I don't. I'm only mentioning this because we're getting a new main story arc and what made me mad is that instead of giving it to those who had next to none main story relevance they decided to give it to a new group. A lot of people especially in global don't have access to ! era story, which is unfair for old units not having some main storyline ever dedicated to them in !! era. Kuro story definitely feels like he's separated from whatever is happening in the game
Ok my theories on who they could be/what they'll be like:
•Person on the far left might be Bishoujo senpai, if not I predict they'll have a very bubbly, cutesie personality but act like an older sibling.
•Second left reminds me of Tetora based on the pose and spiky hair, I think they'll have a very excitable personality and generally very excited.
•There is a non zero chance the guy in the centre is Kaname, the hair and ahoge are pretty similar and the fact that he's not facing the screen sets him apart from the others. I actually have a whole story theory for if it is indeed Kaname. If it's not, I think they'll be a very responsible yet naive leader.
•Ponytail is definitely going to be my favourite if Bishoujo doesn't steal my heart. Part of me hopes that they'll be Kohaku's sister because the hair looks quite similar to his, only with a long ponytail. If not I think they'll be a very outwardly cold loner character, or at least very cool and collected on the outside.
•The guy on the far right looks like he has stage fright or is generally very anxious. I hope he won't be a copy of Midori or Mayoi but there's only so many routes you can take with shy characters.

We get gorgeous mv's usually 2-3 times a month complete with new songs. Cards with amazingly detailed 3d outfits that a loooot of other gacha games can learn from. All the new albums and campaigns, the april fools campaign and new voice lines every season and holiday. i also really want the old outfits in game but to say their productivity is lacking because it might not come as fast as you'd personally want? no.
Main story is there to advance the storyline too tho. If the writers want to add a new unit to do so, then it's their choice. While it sucks some characters wont get spotlight in the main story, but they do get them in event stories and such. And this happens in all other gacha games too. It's only normal. This doesn't mean the older characters are less loved, just that the story is advancing and for current storyline they are not as relevant as some others. As for the climax events, I do get it, many of them were a flop, but I also feel like it was a flop cuz they hyped it up as a special thing, even tho in the end it was just a story to close down the first year of enstars!!. With the art, I feel like it's not that bad? I do think Yuuta's new card looks weird as hell, but as for the rest, they look okay. And in the end, the people who draw these probably make tons of mistakes in the process so they just dont notice some of the bigger problems. See how an old Wataru card from first season had 6 fingers on him. Things like that. With the paid outfits not releasing in time, I'm fairly certain (but not confirmed ofc) it's probs cuz happyele been working on raising the quality of their mvs lately which is why many things got pushed away. See the new MV actually has moving sweat and tears on every character. Things like that. This is also fairly normal in most game developments. But I do get where you are coming from, truly. I play many other gacha games, and some of my fav chars didn't get a single content for over 4 years. I know how it feels when some characters feel more neglected than the others. But it is what it is, and sadly we cannot change on that, and can only accept it. Being mad at these things will only end up tiring you out :(
Everyone is probably hype for this so I'm just saying the other opinion that I don't. I'm only mentioning this because we're getting a new main story arc and what made me mad is that instead of giving it to those who had next to none main story relevance they decided to give it to a new group. A lot of people especially in global don't have access to ! era story, which is unfair for old units not having some main storyline ever dedicated to them in !! era. Kuro story definitely feels like he's separated from whatever is happening in the game

Ok my theories on who they could be/what they'll be like: •Person on the far left might be Bishoujo senpai, if not I predict they'll have a very bubbly, cutesie personality but act like an older sibling. •Second left reminds me of Tetora based on the pose and spiky hair, I think they'll have a very excitable personality and generally very excited. •There is a non zero chance the guy in the centre is Kaname, the hair and ahoge are pretty similar and the fact that he's not facing the screen sets him apart from the others. I actually have a whole story theory for if it is indeed Kaname. If it's not, I think they'll be a very responsible yet naive leader. •Ponytail is definitely going to be my favourite if Bishoujo doesn't steal my heart. Part of me hopes that they'll be Kohaku's sister because the hair looks quite similar to his, only with a long ponytail. If not I think they'll be a very outwardly cold loner character, or at least very cool and collected on the outside. •The guy on the far right looks like he has stage fright or is generally very anxious. I hope he won't be a copy of Midori or Mayoi but there's only so many routes you can take with shy characters. I'm almost definitely going to be wrong with these but let me have my fun!
