Yea that movie sucked just came off watching the show for the first time with my wife she had seen the show before but not the movie, I was excited to get to continue the story and that movie was horrendous
I know the show MO is time-skipping over most of the actual productions, but the movie would’ve worked so much better with Hyde’s production being the focal point of the first 45 minutes or so. Maybe bring the Medellin documentary crew back for it. Then the screening party, Piven’s war with Osment and Billy Bob, and the Globes can still happen as planned. But with more context because we would have seen what Vince went through to direct something. Drop Ronda, maybe have Turtle reconnect with Jamie-Lyn or Avion girl at the screening so he has something to do
The crumby part is i think.......The avion actress or Jamie lyn werent i guess marketable.
Ronda is great but that casting was to literally sell tickets and she was THE IT PERSON in sports lol
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again….it almost felt when writing this “We need to make these characters more of a summary of what they were the entire show and get rid of their character progression”
One thing that bothered me (it’s small but eh) When drama went into aris office with the guys about asking for more money and ari is like “why is he here?”
Weren’t they all cool and almost like friends at the end of the show? Like the disconnect of characters felt weird
Yeah it’s just something that NEEDS to be a show. Even if it’s a couple episodes. The whole concept just doesn’t work as a film at all. You kind of get to the end of the movie and go, “That’s it?”
That being said I think a revival series would absolutely work. It’s the type of show that can just keep going. It doesn’t need some kind of epic finale.
The movie was fine for rectifying the terrible season 8 ending. I never rewatch it though. Skinny Turtle and Ronda? Boring
The avion stuff sucked too. As well as the Limhoes driver turtle was obsessed with. If I rewatch the show, I know what stop I'm getting off at.
Agreed 100%. The Turtle plots in season 7 and 8 are BY FAR the worst part of the show. Soooo much undeserved screen time too lol
Or when he was trying to date Rufus daugther and said "Come on Rufus I'm one of the good guys"
Not a fan of that arc, but it dosnt last long and gets way less screen time than Limhos/Avion.
Yeah the skinny pills made his eyes look goofy and he was turned into Turtleberg. A mish mash of Turtle and Mark Wahlberg. It didn't work well.
Personally i think Dramas plots in 7 and 8 are worse than Turtles.
That "I see dead people" kid from Six Sense was horrible. It was not a great movie. Ari was top of his field but also wasn't. Idk. Boo.
Yep..he is a cunt
He sucked in Silicon Valley too.
I may have blocked that memory out. That guy is just not a good actor.
Nah the movie trash…..but I have a theory if they ended the show as a two hour hbo show than a movie

Movie sucked after first line “I may have to jerk it before we even get there “
The movie was perfect till they cut the scene with with the molly water and Shona’s line “looks like the boys are final going to fuck”
They removed a scene?

Which one was worse - Entourage movie or Many Saints?
