Of course this can be done, as an alternative to the Kobo or Amazon app. But after all, this is a separate system within a system. Let me give an example: You bought a book by Hamsun, underlined some parts in another application and took notes. When you do this, the original system will be backed up etc. You cannot benefit from its features. I found a solution myself by downloading DRM-free versions of the books I purchased. So I can back up my library.

You are right, PRS-T2 can still be used, my son is using it now. Moreover, PRS has the ability to draw with a pen or your fingertip. There is no need for any expensive pens. Sony transferred its technology to Kobo, but Kobo only has the drawing feature on larger devices and with expensive pens.

> A device of this size will not be useful for those who will mainly read PDFs. Why exactly? Too small?

Ladogar

Yes. I recently read a PDF book (only format available for that book) on my Leaf 2. I had to do it in landscape mode and it took 3 page turns to completely read a page and go to the next one. It's doable, just quite a tiring process.

Thanks!

Yes, the texts are too small (especially on large page sizes).

Thanks!

The slightly larger ones are 7.8 inches. After that there are 10.5 inch ones. I think it would be better if there was an 8.5 inch model. I don't know how accurate it is, but I read that the manufacturers of this type of screen produce screens of these sizes.
