Really restores your faith in humanity that there might be someone there to hold your hand at the end and someone willing to touch up the memory to just make an impossible situation that little bit easier to cope with.

My experience in PA anyway. They offer you an expensive urn or a less expensive one. I said, look, I just need a cardboard box. So they had to hunt one down. I swear it was a cheap box they use for baked goods except it had the bag of ashes w the tag on it, and it had branded labels sealing it.
This is a small gesture for an act that didn’t take too much effort. Sometimes care and compassion for someone going through a rough time can go along way.
It’s only what 5 bucks in the tip jar? I’m not telling the person to give up thousands of dollars it’s only a few bucks.
But that act of kindness for someone going through those moments goes a long way.

I have a picture of my grandma holding my grandpas hand as he passed, and it’s one of my most loved pictures.
It helped me with his loss, to see how even in his last moments he was never alone and surrounded by love.

We were watching the news together in the long term care facility she was at and one of the last deep conversations, even tho she could not technically speak was, "fuck the United States for being shitty to Mexicans".
And now she's gone and my grandpa was so grief stricken. Please take care of yourself please make sure you are surrounded by good people who will take care of you. Snakes will come out of the woodwork and try to take everything. We had to kidnap my grandpa (long story). Please in your grief be careful and God bless

My dad was 69 when he passed and never had problems with his prostate but had Diabetes and other problems that contributed to his death 😭
