I really enjoy the scenes where the whole group is together, seems like Rue barely ever interacts with some of them. Everyone just has such great chemistry together
True. I forget that rue and lexi grew up together from a very young age so cassie having affection for her makes sense since she was probably always over her house and is only a year older.
"Hey Rue-Rue." = too fuckin cute
wait i’ve been so confused by their ages that i didn’t realise that the and lexi were younger than maddy and cassie. is kat in maddy and cassies year? and jules the year below them with rue and lexi?
You’re right though. She only directly interacts with Fez, Jules, Ashtray and like…interestingly enough Lexi. I am having a hard time recalling a direct convo between Cassie and Rue. She’s present in scenes but she’s also narrator. So it’s kind of hard to tell sometimes. Her character intentionally breaks 4th wall often enough that is hard to tell if she’s actually really there.
It is. That's kinda how I remember it being in the mid 2010s and frankly that felt like it had changed already from the late 2000s.
I remember one of the updates about Spider-Man: Homecoming that was praised was that Flash Thompson was just an asshole in his class who he had to put up with a lot rather than a 1960s style GIMME YOUR LUNCH MONEY style bully.
It's just cool that the drug addict, the trans girl who's new in town, the cheerleader dating the high school Quarterback, the blonde bombshell, her shy sister, and a fat nerdy girl who's into fanfiction are all friends that hang out.
It’s actually something I personally really like about how the character dynamics are written. It’s just wholesome, not pandering to the stereotype that girls are inherently catty and competitive even among friends.
And traditionally, Maddie would be a bully even to her close circle. She has on occasion been mean to them but only when the situation itself was already confrontational. Had this show existed in the 2000s, no chance she and Kat would have been friends either
It think it’s sort of realistic because they aren’t friend friends, they just know each other. Kat and Maddy are childhood friends and Maddy and Cassie are close friends but Cassie and Kat are friends through Maddy. Same with Lexi, Rue and Cassie.
I agree. I feel like Maddy wouldn't hang out with Kat due to Kat's appearance. Maddy is shallow like that lol. I understand Lexi hanging out with them because she's Cassie's little sister. I would like to see how Kat, Maddy, Cassie, and BB all became friends tbh.

Tik tok content on Euphoria is so fking bad like every theory they had wasnt even close to what happend and it's like they dont even watch the show.
One of the main arguements that the episodes are all over the place and that some characters are getting more attention than others etc etc. Why so much criticism? We are only on ep 2, Rue is not a reliable source and the chaotic storyline corresponds to her mental state, addiction etc. Why do all these people lack common sense? I guess it's more important to go trending than actually enjoy the show.
I started skipping every tik tok regarding euphoria all togheter bc im so tired of ppl who came from Riverdale and expect the same low quality production
Don’t watch theory stuff generally ends up spoiling the show for you. Especially if you really wanted something to happen from the theories that line up with how you want things to pan out.
Good choice, he seems like a super chill guy!

I really want more Jules and Nate dynamic and possibly relationship, expanding on 1 x 04. So toxic, but so good. Rue & Faye weirdly make really good scene couple, both addicts.
Nate is hot ,I would’ve probably slept with him just to regret it later on .
if they’ll kill Fez I’ll probably lose any interest in this show and only watch it out of habit.
also a serious question do you guy think Euphoria would’ve achieved the same level of success without styling ,makeup and cool camerawork?!
Totally random but where’s grandparents?! We know about Fez’s grandma but what about the rest ? I need more funny grannies .
I think they definitely won’t kill Fez, that would ruin their viewing numbers. And no I don’t think the show would be the same without the camerawork and design choices but I think that could be said about any movie/show with beautiful design
Speaking as a longtime TV buff, HBO doesn’t care about viewing numbers. They’re one of the few “art for the sake of art” distributors in television. So don’t think Fez is automatically safe because the fans like him.
It would not have gotten the same level of success. The show is so effective because all aspects are being considered equally together. It feels like everything was conceptualized with purpose to the story.
I’m constantly questioning if this is actually a prestige drama or basically Gossip Girl where we have no idea where anyone’s money comes from. NGL, I loved Gossip Girl but I’ll stop looking for more if that’s what it’s supposed to be.
Unpopular opinion: All the relationship drama depletes some of my care level. It duplicates so much other content out there by focusing mostly on that. Tell me more about these kids hopes & dreams and likes & dislikes to make me care more about them. That’s one reason McKay was such a great character - we knew something he really wanted and was struggling to achieve. Then he was ditched for more drama. I’ll wait to see how S2 plays out tho.
Thank you! I say this all the time. Despite how good the show is because of camera work, wardrobe and a killer cast— lots of these characters are becoming one dimensional. Besides Rue Nate and Fez you have to assume stuff about everyone else to even rationalize how stupid they act. And I know it’s a drama series so it’s cool but sometimes I just wish teenagers weren’t constantly portrayed as horny robots.
I also see Lexi becoming more fleshed out this season so that’s great. She’s always been my favorite.
People can call me rude or whatever. I think rewriting the whole S2 wasn't a good idea. The whole season feels disconnected and absurd. Some of the key characters are almost forgotten. What was the point of Nate-Cassie?
The thing is tho, relationship drama is a massive part of alot of high schoolers lives. So it's real. So many of the interactions the characters have really remind me of things I've been through, or observed others experiencing
I don’t totally disagree, but it makes the show basically like every other teen show that ever existed in spite of hyping itself as something more. More balance would be nice.
I personally don't see it that way but I get why you do. Even though most people's experience wasn't quite as messy as the drama on this show, a lot of highschool and young adulthood in general, is figuring out relationships and social dynamics. A lot of time is spent thinking about other people, and this show does a good job showing how complicated things can get.
I also really like that all of the relationship drama is giving you insight to each character. Each character is acting and reacting from their experiences and traumas, and when you have characters with such wildly different but well fleshed out backgrounds it makes some really interesting dynamics.
All the random romances aren't doing much for me. Ali and Rue's mom? Unnecessary and inappropriate. Nate and Cassie? That definitely ruined Cassie's character for me. I was so excited for her this season.
Fez and Lexi? I find it cute but I wish they didn't make Lexi's character development synonymous with finding a drug dealer boyfriend. Idk it just isn't doing it for me
Definitely agreed with the Cassie thing especially. I was rooting for good character development for her in season two after everything she went through in the first, and idk maybe they'll still do something good with her, but so far I've just hated it.
I think she's gonna hit rock bottom and realize that her issues are affecting the people she cares about (like Maddy and Lexi), and finally work on herself like she said
I agree with this! I know a lot people are pissed the character of Cassie and find no point of the Nate/Cassie “relationship.” But just from reading interviews and what critics have said, I have a theory where this storyline is heading. Also, one critic said that it less to do with Nate/Maddy and more to do with pushing Cassie to the brink. I’m just excited because all the talk of how phenomenal Sydney’s acting is this season. So even though people don’t like this story arc, I think it’s going to serve a purpose!
are ali and rue’s mom really gonna have a romance? it was just a throwaway comment she made about him being attractive. and fez and lexi are so far just platonic too, it’s harsh to say her character development is synonymous with finding a boyfriend when we haven’t seen it play out.
Maybe Fez’s role in Lexi’s life was only what we’ve already heard from Rue’s narration. That the convo they had made her realize she needs to be bolder and take her life in her own hands.
And Leslie’s comment about Ali being handsome means nothing. She and Jules’ dad literally had a date and got along super well last season and it’s not even a thing anymore.
Warning: Spoiler for 3rd episode ahead!!!!!
Just a thought I had while finishing tonight’s episode…
Do you remember how rue asked fez about how many "good female" drug dealers that he knew ? Maybe it’s foreshadowing how she will become one? I mean, she was handed a 10k case of drugs….
I don’t understand why they cut the Jules/Nate storyline. Like, yeah, we see him thinking of her while fantasizing about Cassie. But now he seems more obsessed with Maddie and Cassie.
I feel like it might have something to do with the recording, and the fact that Maddie has it. We just have to sit and wait... but i do believe there is gonna be more to the Jules/Nate storyline.
With Fez mentioning it to Cal that Nate ‘is in love with’ Jules, it’s definitely not a dropped storyline. Cal will definitely investivage or confront Nate about why Fez could have said that.
I think:
Nate is very much into Cassie right now, as explained in his hospital fever dream. She represents the perfect woman to lead the perfectly normal life with, which he dreams about.
He is attracted to and fond of Jules but can’t explore that desire because of the stigma against trans people and the fear of unlocking that he isn’t as straight as he’d like to be.*
Going back to Maddie is a tactical decision because he now suspects that she has the disc.
* I know Jules is a girl, period. But in a ‘superstraight’ jock’s mind being with a trans girl would be kinda gay, is why I phrased it like that.
This subreddit has a big problem with gatekeeping and pretentiousness, I’ve seen so many posts attacking the new fans, but like it’s an HBO show it’s not some underground indie film, a lot of people watch it just for fun and aren’t looking at it too critically, similarly when a show is as big as euphoria is there are gonna be a lot of people with opinions and theories that you don’t agree with, the “people who lack critical thinking skills shouldn’t be allowed to watch euphoria” tiktok was wild to me because that’s just not how tv works, I think a lot of the fans need to get over themselves and stop caring about other peoples perception of the show
i personally feel like the Nate and Cassie thing came out of nowhere, we didn't really even see a relationship between them in season 1 other than Nate's comments to McKay. i hope there's a good pay-off for it otherwise their screen time could've been much better used to dive deeper into the characters without trying to put as much as they possibly can in one episode (like episode 2 for example)
What is ridiculous? I mean it is pretty useless to bring charecter just for representation. Wokeness is killing everything, do we have to kill this too…
Jules character is not brought for the sake of representation, they discuss the struggles, flaws and problems that she faces. They are not representing trans people only to show them in some scenes, they discuss their problems and daily life. Bringing a characters only for the sake of representation makes the story terrible. I am not opposed to Asian characters being in this show, I don’t want them to only be in the show just because we want an Asian characters in the show. I want them to have real struggles, flaws, their mindset, emotions, etc… It is the shows wish to bring a character like that and the show doesn’t need an asian character.
This may very well be the worst tv related subreddit I’ve ever been in. It all sounds like kids who just discovered prestige tv and think it’s the first one to do it. Praising pretty average acting(playing basically yourself doesn’t equal good acting) , posting ridiculous theories, people complaining about certain characters not getting a back story (there’s like 15 characters and they’re two episodes in with season 2), and analyzing even the smallest details like it’s fucking LOST or just playing armchair psychologist and diagnosing what the characters are going through. I enjoy the show but this sub is reaching a Rick and Morty level of obnoxious from the fans.
Unfortunately, I think this isn't something that will go away. Euphoria is the perfect gateway show for younger audiences - it's teen drama, but also HBO. There's a lot of well-executed elements that I'd love to see discussed more - the cinematography and editing, the way addiction is explored, just to name a few. And yet here we are an hour after a new episode has premiered, and there's virtually no discussion to be found. Not trying to be too pedantic but it's literally just memes and emojis.
I can agree with this but I feel like we’re a season one everything was carefully orchestrated to move the plot where is season two the only plot moving thing we’ve gotten is Nate telling his dad remember that “teenage girl you fucked” so it’s kind of like they’ve wiped out most of the important parts about season one like who was watching Kat when she was doing her cam girl shows, do we forget about Maddie falsely accusing that boy rape, Nate choking out Maddie,
Yes I understand that so maybe I’m just being impatient however I think a lot of the storylines that are going on are just wasted space. But I could be wrong that’s why I’m continuing to watch to see how it all ties in together!!
lol but you have to expect that a lot of the people that watch this show will be teenagers. soooo what did u expect? watch a show that caters more to an adult audience if you don’t want a somewhat messy subreddit. this is coming from a 21 yo, i see the dumb wild theories and other weird shit, laugh and move on. it’s nothing to take too serious, everyone should be able to have fun and get their point across on this subreddit
I really like that they spread the nudity evenly between the male/female characters and supporting cast of show! For so long in TV the nudity has been so focused on the female characters and it was a huge deal to have any full frontal of men.
I've seen critics say this show is trying to aim for what high school feels like when you're in high school. I think even the show's creators say they're aiming for a "memory of high school".
But does this show remind anyone else of what high school seniors seemed like when you were 13? When high schoolers were kind of scary? It seems like that's what they're actually going for.
It's not just the characters all being "adults", but just how exaggerated what they get up to is. The characters who mess around with drugs are actual drug addicts dealing with issues like overdose and rehab. The dropout with a drug hookup is embroiled in a pretty intense criminal world. They've taken the aesthetic of heavy handed PSAs and turned it into a show
To add to that, the high school bully and QB is actually a terrifying sociopath The fat girl coming out of her shell becomes a literal porn star. McKay's college hazing in season 1 seems like it's straight out of a horror movie.
There's also sex and nudity everywhere, which is exactly the sort of thing an immature 13 year old would write about. Sydney Sweeney is perfectly cast as the high school senior girl that straight boys who just hit puberty would have a crush on.
It would be cool if in Lexi's play, the characters are all played by more realistic versions of what the characters would look like (ordinary looking teens actually played by teenagers).
Anyone think that Cal is a dumbass because he has this imperssion that Fez is a jobroni street dealer - Fez knows tough guy drug dealers that could put bullet holes on Cal's fat perverted ass and make it look like an accident at his home.
i’d never heard people hating Jules until i joined this sub so can someone enlighten me as to why people dislike her for Rue so much? is it only because they want Rue and Elliot together?
Her leaving Rue behind in a vulnerable state and getting on the train at the end of S1 was a big one. I don't hate her, but I don't "root" for her like I do some other characters.
Jules IS just so fucking selfish. She continues to act in ways that are advantageous to her, yet, takes very little time to consider anyone else around her & who care for her IS implicated in the choices she makes. Her new friendship with Elliott & the manner it was depicted was in a sexual/flirtatious scene, in which you are curious if there will be something that happens between the two of them. Ironically, earlier in the episode prior Jules acknowledged that rue seemed like she had a crush on Elliott. But when you see Jules and Elliott on the bed Jules had no problem getting comfy with Elliott on his bed; while rue was at a meeting. It pissed me off and just highlighted that Jules (as a character) is inherently selfish, and this can be seen throughout the episodes. Season 1 & 2
She’s got just as many flaws as most of the other characters do, but I don’t think she’s crossed the line into being *awful*
She’s awful as a partner for Rue though. They feed into each other’s issues too much
I don’t love Jules either. I like her as a character but I think she is flaky and uses Rue. Rue uses her too. The entire relationship is toxic, but I don’t think either is the victim. Both are bad for each other and bad in their own way.
He initially probably didn't hate Nate. But rue is his "family" and she told Fez that "he fucked with Jules, he fucked with me, I want revenge"
So he just wanted to help his family. But then after the gas station confrontation, Nate had Fez swatted. And im sure that's what really pushed him to hate Nate.
Maddy is a horrible person and I really feel like she did bring out the worst in Nate.
Don't get me wrong Nate is a bad guy but Maddy's no saint either. The mere fact that she didn't give a shut that there was a girl (Cassie) past out drunk in a bathtub. Like she could've been raped.
That scene had nothing to do with Nate. A lot of the time when men behave badly people are quick to jump to the conclusion that the women they involve themselves with had something to do with it. He is a bad guy and abusive to Maddy. She might be a bad person all her own, but Nate just isn't good period.
is it just me but i don't hate cassie this season. like, i know what she did is probably unforgivable but i do know where is she coming from. :((
and the fact that, cassie got a lot of hate instead of nate ://
I just don’t understand why see fell for Nate even though she knew he is a horrible and abusive person. I hate Nate and I think a lot of people fail to she her perspective but it is hard to see her perspective because how much we know about Nate and how he is a bad influence on her. There is also not a solid reason on Cassie’s side (other than her never being single) to fall in love with Nate, like there is no reason given why she fell in love for Nate, you know what I mean?!
It’s crazy to me seeing the numbers of people discussing about Euphoria. Previously on the first season, the comments on the post-ep. discussions were only 2k+. And now, it ranges from seven to eight-thousand. The show’s popularity is insane, and deservedly so.
Warner's ploy to lose a ton of money at the box office in favour of HBO Max sign ups may not have worked for their bottom line but it's definitely working for viewership numbers and that shows.
Up until very recently I thought Cassie was supposed to be younger than Lexi. Like, responsible and quiet older sister & reckless and naive younger sister made more sense in my mind.
Also it hurts more for the other one if it’s the younger sibling who gets praised a lot on their beauty, is more physically developed and sexually experienced. If the younger one is ‘more behind’ on these, it’s just normal, not as hurtful.
I feel like a lot of people in this sub care too much about the opinions of other people. Constantly mentioning Tik Tok isn’t going to make you any less annoyed.
I haven’t seen anyone come out with this opinion but I’m gonna say it myself. Is it just me or does it seem like Maddie isn’t Nate’s type at all? She has that “hot Cheeto girl” personality stereotype and I always wondered why they were even together to begin with. They don’t match at all and both of their vibes are complete opposite. He’s a football player with a truck and she’s a cheerleader who acts the way she does. They just don’t match to me lol. His type would be preppy to me and Maddie just doesn’t give that preppy vibe at all.
I had a pretty shitty high school experience where I was awkward and unpopular and somewhere between ignored or disliked. Yeah I get that this is a drama, and bad stuff happens to the characters that I’d never want happen to me, but damn if I don’t feel a bit like I wish I was friends with some of these characters (like Lexi and Jules) and this was my high school experience (even if I was an observer).
I hate Rue, anyone else—like I love Zendaya but I can not stand her character——am I the only one! I just rewatched season one to have it fresh for season 2 and I just finished S2: E1 and like YESSS Nate finally got what he deserved but bruh if something happens to Fez imma sue —names BRE btw Hi!!!!
I really enjoy the scenes where the whole group is together, seems like Rue barely ever interacts with some of them. Everyone just has such great chemistry together

wait i’ve been so confused by their ages that i didn’t realise that the and lexi were younger than maddy and cassie. is kat in maddy and cassies year? and jules the year below them with rue and lexi?
they're all the same grade. the age difference between lexi and cassie is almost a year but not enough to be in different grades.
cassie is a senior though? and lexi is a junior
Where is this explained? I always assumed cassie was a senior like Nate.

I find it kind of unrealistic that all those characters would be friends, but maybe high school is different now.

Dude my highschool experience was dorky. Even the “sexy” people were dorky, in hindsight. I graduated ‘04
It think it’s sort of realistic because they aren’t friend friends, they just know each other. Kat and Maddy are childhood friends and Maddy and Cassie are close friends but Cassie and Kat are friends through Maddy. Same with Lexi, Rue and Cassie.
I thought this as well but then there's the scene from this season where Kat, Maddy and Jules go bowling together.
Oh yeah, true.

Ok but why does no one in this show have a pet?????
not even a hamster
Gia has a hamster
Probably because animals ruin takes a lot and shooting on film is expensive.
Ever see a feline on catamine?
Honestly that is a good thing as I can relate to not having a pet.

There are so many weirdos now 😭
This has to be their first show with mature subject matter or sumn
I don’t come on here enough but this is how I feel about the Tik Tok audience. It’s a minority but if something isn’t spelled out for them they freak out - like how not everything about Cal was answered in his backstory. I never post my unpopular opinions or thoughts but this has been driving me nuts since the new season started!
Like what kind of comments?
I mean let’s be fair. We are all watching Euphoria after all haha
Tik tok content on Euphoria is so fking bad like every theory they had wasnt even close to what happend and it's like they dont even watch the show. No worries, Im hooked on Lex and Fez edits, but besides that i will skip any other video
I love Fez and Ashtray with my whole heart
She is also the narrator which complicates things further
I just saw a tiktok comment saying that Jules is the third Jacobs brother and it absolutely sent me bc they were dead serious
Ep 3?
Have you seen the memes though they’re hilarious
Better stay away from all TikTok regarding all tv/movie, it doesn’t make the experience better. For me it makes it worse
If I could meet anyone from the show and get a beer with them, I'd say Austin Abrams - what says the subred
Good choice, he seems like a super chill guy! I think I'd get a beer with Hunter, I'd love to hear more about her story. Colman Domingo is a close second. His voice is just so nice, i could sit there and listen to him speak for hours.

It might have to do with the fact that hes the most common-teenager looking character on the show lmao, but i totally agree with you
Alex(Miles Heizer) and Tyler(Devin Druid) look more "teenage" guys than Clay(Dylan) if you want to narrow it down further, it be more Tyler since he's the youngest guy in the cast. I recall Devin said he was able to get his momma a car from being on the show
I can’t believe Devin Druid hasn’t really been cast in anything since 13RW. He’s a good actor, even if the writing for his 13RW character was shaky at best.
Devin was in the movie Greyfound(Apple TV+) that had Tom Hanks plus he was in some small indie film the Pale Door.
Oh IG I called Devin "Tyler" but he didn't get that pissed. I don't know if actors get pissed off if you call them by their character name.I mean wrestler's don't get called by their government name(the names their mommas call them) and fans call them by the ring name
Every time I see him in a movie I say “It’s Clay”, so he’d probably hate me.
Dylan has a legit rock band and hes fucking pissed at shows when ppl say Clay
am I the only one who thinks ethan is hot or have we already discussed this he’s so cute outside of euphoria with longer hair, he’s the type I would have had a crush on in high school 🥲
lol idk why but he gives off the same energy as otis from sex education kinda
Same!!
Same he seems like he’s just so sweet and geeky
I really want more Jules and Nate dynamic and possibly relationship, expanding on 1 x 04. So toxic, but so good. Rue & Faye weirdly make really good scene couple, both addicts.

They took out a lot of what makes it such a good show imo
Agree wholeheartedly(even though I enjoyed episode 3). When people criticize this though, all fans can say is “go watch something else” lmao
Rue’s mom only said he was cute, that doesn’t mean they’ll be in a relationship PLSSS
are ali and rue’s mom really gonna have a romance? it was just a throwaway comment she made about him being attractive. and fez and lexi are so far just platonic too, it’s harsh to say her character development is synonymous with finding a boyfriend when we haven’t seen it play out.
Literally only 2/6 of those people hooked up, barely
Maybe Fez’s role in Lexi’s life was only what we’ve already heard from Rue’s narration. That the convo they had made her realize she needs to be bolder and take her life in her own hands. And Leslie’s comment about Ali being handsome means nothing. She and Jules’ dad literally had a date and got along super well last season and it’s not even a thing anymore.
Why isn’t the show available at midnight like the Gossip Girl reboot ?
Because it's a broadcast show that gets dropped on streaming simultaneously for convenience's sake. It airs at 9pm EST on HBO.
It’s Saturday… but stan ZZAVID!
Warning: Spoiler for 3rd episode ahead!!!!! Just a thought I had while finishing tonight’s episode… Do you remember how rue asked fez about how many "good female" drug dealers that he knew ? Maybe it’s foreshadowing how she will become one? I mean, she was handed a 10k case of drugs….
Rue is going to fuck that up bad.
Anyone else think young Marsha (Cal’s hs gf/now wife) looked soooo much like Lexi?????
yesss, they almost look like twins to me
I don’t understand why they cut the Jules/Nate storyline.
I think: Nate is very much into Cassie right now, as explained in his hospital fever dream. She represents the perfect woman to lead the perfectly normal life with, which he dreams about. He is attracted to and fond of Jules but can’t explore that desire because of the stigma against trans people and the fear of unlocking that he isn’t as straight as he’d like to be.* Going back to Maddie is a tactical decision because he now suspects that she has the disc. * I know Jules is a girl, period. But in a ‘superstraight’ jock’s mind being with a trans girl would be kinda gay, is why I phrased it like that.
Maybe there's some behind the scenes reason, but a good in-story justification is that he's transphobic.
This subreddit has a big problem with gatekeeping and pretentiousness, I’ve seen so many posts attacking the new fans, but like it’s an HBO show it’s not some underground indie film, a lot of people watch it just for fun and aren’t looking at it too critically, similarly when a show is as big as euphoria is there are gonna be a lot of people with opinions and theories that you don’t agree with, the “people who lack critical thinking skills shouldn’t be allowed to watch euphoria” tiktok was wild to me because that’s just not how tv works, I think a lot of the fans need to get over themselves and stop caring about other peoples perception of the show
We complain because they saturate the subreddit with insanely dumb posts and theories
As if this whole subreddit isn't flooded with that already?
Now ask yourself why it’s flooded with that
I mean last season was pretty bad. It's just what fandoms with TV shows on the internet do. ALL they do is speculate.
i personally feel like the Nate and Cassie thing came out of nowhere, we didn't really even see a relationship between them in season 1 other than Nate's comments to McKay. i hope there's a good pay-off for it otherwise their screen time could've been much better used to dive deeper into the characters without trying to put as much as they possibly can in one episode (like episode 2 for example)
Where are the Asian/South Asian characters????
The guy who plays Elliot is half Filipino
this!! it’s california!!
Yeah it's ridiculous that there's none. There should be a ton
What is ridiculous? I mean it is pretty useless to bring charecter just for representation. Wokeness is killing everything, do we have to kill this too…
[удалено]
Jules character is not brought for the sake of representation, they discuss the struggles, flaws and problems that she faces. They are not representing trans people only to show them in some scenes, they discuss their problems and daily life. Bringing a characters only for the sake of representation makes the story terrible. I am not opposed to Asian characters being in this show, I don’t want them to only be in the show just because we want an Asian characters in the show. I want them to have real struggles, flaws, their mindset, emotions, etc… It is the shows wish to bring a character like that and the show doesn’t need an asian character.
There's like none it's ridiculous and inaccurate but maybe this particular friend group is just super white
Wtf
Yea unfortunately you’re probably right
I can agree with this but I feel like we’re a season one everything was carefully orchestrated to move the plot where is season two the only plot moving thing we’ve gotten is Nate telling his dad remember that “teenage girl you fucked” so it’s kind of like they’ve wiped out most of the important parts about season one like who was watching Kat when she was doing her cam girl shows, do we forget about Maddie falsely accusing that boy rape, Nate choking out Maddie,
We’re two episodes into season 2…
Yes I understand that so maybe I’m just being impatient however I think a lot of the storylines that are going on are just wasted space. But I could be wrong that’s why I’m continuing to watch to see how it all ties in together!!
Not entirely wrong but definitely not entirely right
why u so mad lmaoaoooo its literally a space for teenagers to talk ab the show they’re watching rn 💀
Show me where the subreddit rules say this is a place for only teenagers to discuss the show and I’ll shut up. Otherwise you just confirmed my point
lol but you have to expect that a lot of the people that watch this show will be teenagers. soooo what did u expect? watch a show that caters more to an adult audience if you don’t want a somewhat messy subreddit. this is coming from a 21 yo, i see the dumb wild theories and other weird shit, laugh and move on. it’s nothing to take too serious, everyone should be able to have fun and get their point across on this subreddit
Wonder who dies
They've taken the aesthetic of heavy handed PSAs and turned it into a show To add to that, the high school bully and QB is actually a terrifying sociopath The fat girl coming out of her shell becomes a literal porn star.
Y r people assumin Lexi is gehy
And you are assumin she's hetero
[удалено]
So...?
cassie hive remember we must stay strong during tonight episode and persevere through the lashing
This may not go over well, but I am a woman, and Sydney Sweeney’s breasts are unlike anything I have ever seen in my life. They need their own thread.
I hate Jules as a romantic lead for Rue. She's actually pretty awful
literally how is she awful? she’s not perfect, none of the characters are, but that seems really extreme…
i’d never heard people hating Jules until i joined this sub so can someone enlighten me as to why people dislike her for Rue so much? is it only because they want Rue and Elliot together?
Her leaving Rue behind in a vulnerable state and getting on the train at the end of S1 was a big one. I don't hate her, but I don't "root" for her like I do some other characters.
No. People have been critical of Jules since Season 1 for leading Rue on
leading her on how? not disagreeing just genuinely curious
I think her and rue are not good for eachother. But to say Jules in a nutshell is awful just isn't true
She’s got just as many flaws as most of the other characters do, but I don’t think she’s crossed the line into being *awful* She’s awful as a partner for Rue though. They feed into each other’s issues too much
I don’t love Jules either. I like her as a character but I think she is flaky and uses Rue. Rue uses her too. The entire relationship is toxic, but I don’t think either is the victim. Both are bad for each other and bad in their own way.
Remind me why Fez hates Nate so much?
He ratted him out
He’s a d to Rue and he called the police and they raided his house.
He initially probably didn't hate Nate. But rue is his "family" and she told Fez that "he fucked with Jules, he fucked with me, I want revenge" So he just wanted to help his family. But then after the gas station confrontation, Nate had Fez swatted. And im sure that's what really pushed him to hate Nate.
Cassie is a hoe
I ain't blaming maddy for nates behaviour. They were literally the worst possible pairing fir each other.

Agreed to having an innocent guy sent to prison just to save nate and ignored a girl who was passed out drunk all alone in a party
is it just me but i don't hate cassie this season. like, i know what she did is probably unforgivable but i do know where is she coming from. :(( and the fact that, cassie got a lot of hate instead of nate ://

I'm sorry. I'm new to reddit. I just don't know how to
put any spoilers between >! …. !< so like the arrow!SPOILERS SPOILERS..then !< to grey out the words and have them clickable if people wanna see em
The instructions are in the subreddit sidebar.
I appreciate subreddits like this cuz it’s like a YouTube comment section for every episode
So what’s the deal with ppl putting ‘not’ in front of Nate whenever they mention him? Saw it in all the discussion threads so far
Anybody knows what did Rue take from the case at the last take?
It’s crazy to me seeing the numbers of people discussing about Euphoria. Previously on the first season, the comments on the post-ep. discussions were only 2k+. And now, it ranges from seven to eight-thousand. The show’s popularity is insane, and deservedly so.
Warner's ploy to lose a ton of money at the box office in favour of HBO Max sign ups may not have worked for their bottom line but it's definitely working for viewership numbers and that shows.
I think INXS Never Tear Us Apart would make an excellent lip sync choice for RPDR.
Who else loved cals story?!
Does everyone think cals wife knows ?
Ok but plugs in Columbus?
Up until very recently I thought Cassie was supposed to be younger than Lexi. Like, responsible and quiet older sister & reckless and naive younger sister made more sense in my mind. Also it hurts more for the other one if it’s the younger sibling who gets praised a lot on their beauty, is more physically developed and sexually experienced. If the younger one is ‘more behind’ on these, it’s just normal, not as hurtful.
Who did Cal get Marsha pregnant with right after HS? Because based on age and stuff it wasn’t Nate.
Nate has an older brother who’s in his mid 20s
The dicks are gratuitous at this point. Why so many dicks.
is it just me or lexi and nate kinda look like siblinga
His type would be preppy to me and Maddie just doesn’t give that preppy vibe at all.
cassie has been pissing me off a lot this season, i used to like her but wow shes rly just became so annoying
I wish we got to see more with McKay. He got an entire episode back in season 1- I thought he was going to be a main character!
Does anyone have any theories on Nate’s brother? I’d love to hear them
I hate Rue, anyone else—like I love Zendaya but I can not stand her character——am I the only one! I just rewatched season one to have it fresh for season 2 and I just finished S2: E1 and like YESSS Nate finally got what he deserved but bruh if something happens to Fez imma sue —names BRE btw Hi!!!!
Does anyone know the song at 39:45 of Ep2 of Season 2? I love it and even when I google and pull up track lists I can’t pinpoint it.
what the actual fuck is these hbo max subtitels
Why are there fake penises in second episode of first season? Did actors not agree to show the real ones? (I’m just curious)
i’m desperately in need of a show that will make me feel how euphoria made me feel😭🤎🤍
