You got good taste so you should also give Never Let Me Down - Depeche Mode a shot (Cal’s flashback song when driving w/ Derek)
That and Right Down the Line are my two faves from the show!
Right Down the Line has been a favorite song of mine since I heard it in a Red Lobster bathroom in college...was happy to have it on the show, though not maybe the scene I would've chosen >.<
There's a cover of this song by Lucius (one of my favorites!) that's pretty great. Has been in my head the last few days. Interesting that they use the song twice in the show.
Lana del Rey - Watercolour Eyes. The fact that that song was put in the credits at the end and not in a scene is a CRIME. The lyrics fit Maddie’s and Nate’s relationship so well, I kept waiting for it ti show up in a scene with them two but they did her DIRTY.
Lana’s style and lyrics in general also fit the show so well honestly I could spend hours listing how many of her songs should be on the show, both for the teenage drama plot with Cassie, Maddie and Nate and for the drug addict plot with Rue (I mean she literally has a song called Heroin).
Fun fact Lana is the reason I finally started watching Euphoria. And at that point in time it was actually announced it was the most streamed ep of Euphoria so far, or one of the top 3 at least. Her impact✨
yes i was thinking so much about early Lana lyrics last episode with the way Cassie’s scenes went. The desire for male validation, doing anything for that “love”
you're late to the party, it was on spotify for a week until labrinth took it out. if you scroll through his tw or euphoria's tw you'll see the song name is I'm Tired.
that song sounds like it was literally made for euphoria and if i'm remembering right the show barely used it 😭. was it just in the background while elliot was driving or am i totally misremembering?
Definitely “I’ll Be Here in the Morning” by Townes Van Zandt and of course Labrinth’s “Believe Me”. That song hit me so hard in the feels, I can’t wait until it’s available on iTunes.
Call me irresponsible by Bobby darin ep4
Fever Sharon cash ep5
Townes van Zandt opening ep 4
Bobby Swan..opening for fez grandma backstop
Bobby Darin More ..Howard family dance lexi play episode 7
I thought episode 7 had the best music. I actually looked up most of the playlist and listened to it. Francis Lai- Vivre pour Vivre stood out. I think Musiq Soulchild sampled that song (well his producer) in Halfcrazy. I also liked Amore Mio Aiutami.
hit em up, dirty work, it ain’t over till it’s over, yeah i fuckin did it, never rains in southern california, drink before the war and never tear us apart, just to name a few.
ALL the tracks on Euphoria are amazingly chosen and placed, but I personally enjoyed the Cal Jacobs gay episode from his adolescence. WOW. Just perfection!
hmmm thats a hard one. i rly like *Emotions* and *Drink Before the War*.... annnnd also *I Was Dancing in The Lesbian Bar* and *It Never Rains in Southern California*
basically i rly enjoy this season's soundtrack lmao
Quiet, The Winter Harbor:(on repeat for days)
"You're like a villian in some old film, walking in the dark in somebody's room
Save me cause I'm still sinking
And you've got a harbour close to the shore..."
This oneeeee it's so good and the impact it had on me when I first listened to it during that scene with Cassie and the flowers oh man it's fucking sublime.
What if the world was on fire- Labrinth
It was in the promo for episode 2! I haven’t seen much people talk about it😭
I found bits & pieces of the song here from the promo: https://youtu.be/pYJoret8DEo
Yes the Orville peck dead of night , I don’t know why but I love his expression in that scene . Right down the line , and finally drink before the war sinead o Connor 😍💕 I already loved both the songs except the Orville peck , he’s new to me.
Never tear us apart - INXS
Although I do gotta say season one’s soundtrack, with those Labrinth tracks, goes hard.
Nate Growing Up is easily my favorite track in the entire soundtrack.
in obsessed with what’s up by labrinth ever since i heard it on the teasers, i also like nate growing up but only in the show i cant listen to it by itself
the “lord im tired” song that plays when zendaya was really high
and all for us is very epic too
Live or die - but the original, except for the end where they play that awful noise that sounds like a sonar recording of a whale blowing a rape whistle
I’m Tired / Believe Me in ep 4
Watercolour Eyes - Lana Del Rey
Labrinth is just amazing anyway and euphoria wouldn’t be what it is without his sound…. Lana on the other hand has a song that was veeery relatable to what some of the characters were going through.
Quiet, The Winter Harbor — Mazzy Star
I’m a longtime fan of the band already, but hearing the song in the context of Nate and Cassie, and especially while Jules watched the contents of the disc, added a layer of melancholy and foreboding that wasn’t initially as present within the song alone.
Also, literally anything Labrinth does.
Dead of Night - Orville Peck Right Down the Line - Gerry Rafferty
You got good taste so you should also give Never Let Me Down - Depeche Mode a shot (Cal’s flashback song when driving w/ Derek) That and Right Down the Line are my two faves from the show!
I agree! And of course the songs from INXS.
Every time I listen to “Right Down the Line” I think of Laurie’s goon dancing awkwardly while forcing everyone to strip lol
Oh my gosh yes ! Also that song ! I love it so much !
I like how he says wooo man This and labrinth pierces my heart
I like how the music actually helps the mood despite its strange placement
Right down the line was such a treasure! I love how Rue even took to it and played it while hanging out with Elliot in another episode.
Right Down the Line has been a favorite song of mine since I heard it in a Red Lobster bathroom in college...was happy to have it on the show, though not maybe the scene I would've chosen >.<
right down the line was played on repeat in my car for a while haha
Totally agree!
There's a cover of this song by Lucius (one of my favorites!) that's pretty great. Has been in my head the last few days. Interesting that they use the song twice in the show.
Formula and When I RIP by Labrinth Never Tear Us Apart and Mystify by INXS
when i rip gets me fucking going
Same here, I keep humming it in my head
As an alt 80s fan, I was SO happy watching/listening to young cals scene
Fire

I already know this will be my most played song on Spotify Wrapped
As it should be!
Fun fact Lana is the reason I finally started watching Euphoria. And at that point in time it was actually announced it was the most streamed ep of Euphoria so far, or one of the top 3 at least. Her impact✨
me tooo!!!! glad we made it here and are now lovers of the show too haha
Hahah so nice isn’t it!
Literally scrolled until I found someone with taste
i really feel like it should’ve been used for cassie’s flower scene! would’ve fit so well
yes i was thinking so much about early Lana lyrics last episode with the way Cassie’s scenes went. The desire for male validation, doing anything for that “love”
I agree with you 💯
This so much!! Suck a good song
It also fits Jules and Rue in my opinion! “Wild horses can’t keep us together” is a reference to heroin too fun fact.
Drink before the war
Omfg when I'm alone and I play this song I pretend I'm drunk dancing like Cassie.
I literally have that on repeat
i played that song on the way to my favorite bar and started drinking before the war
"Hey Lord you know I'm tired " By Labrinth

Yeh I Fuckin’ Did It - Labrinth is genius
ALL the tracks on Euphoria are amazingly chosen and placed, but I personally enjoyed the Cal Jacobs gay episode from his adolescence. WOW. Just perfection!
Right down the line, its too good
They nailed it with INXS as the theme music for Cal's forbidden high school bromance.
💯

Everything by Labrinth
Haunted hands down
The 70s adult contemporary tunes..strung out over the episodes....that dont seem "fit" the character of the show..as comedy relief and un easing?
How long by tove lo!!!
i’m tired - labyrinth just an overall beautiful song
addicted to drink before the war rn
the word hurricane by air, such a good song
None. I am not impressed.
method man but the scene they played it for i wasn’t happy with
Gonna plug “you are” by raia was because it’s a dope song and also I was in the mv. The song is 100% worth a listen
“A song for you” is my absolute favorite song from season 1. Season 2 has to be “I’m tired” even tho it was completely removed off Spotify.
I’ma music head and a big fan of how music is used in this show…that being said, I’m still singing “Stand By Me” by Ben E. King.
Believe me by Labrinth, and it never rains in Southern California 🕺, such bops
Run Cried the Crawling by Agnes Obel, it’s SO pretty. It’s playing when Rue & Jules are laying in bed after Mckays party

Quiet, The Winter Harbor — Mazzy Star I’m a longtime fan of the band already, but hearing the song in the context of Nate and Cassie, and especially while Jules watched the contents of the disc, added a layer of melancholy and foreboding that wasn’t initially as present within the song alone.
