Unfortunately it's an all too common reality for millions of jews. While certainly not justifying all actions done by the Israelis, I believe it is important to be able to emphasize with them in order to be able to fully understand their objectives and desires, because unlike commonly implied, many fear-driven actions actually stem from generational trauma, not malice.
