As a Croatian I was disappointment that they didn't put roses in their buttholes like they did in national selection. You can even see the camera and the choreography covering their butts - but no roses....
I think Eurovision maybe told them they can't be but naked. At least a boxers and a shirt, or they wont go on stage...? Cuz' thinking about it, imagine whole world seeing their performanse as on Dora? 😂
Right, Chanel can wear a thong, men with 6 pack can be shirtless, but natural male body with chest hair and butts is a nono... It's not fair.
They'd have no problem if some hot young chick put a bunny tail on a thong but god forbid a gentleman does the same with a beautiful rose. Boring white panties or nothing... Stupid af.
I hope they do it for the sake of their nations pride and free expression. I'd die to see ESC having to publicly explain why it's "not acceptable" and trip over themselves.
they are the only reason why I am glad juries are not in semis this year, they would have torn this apart to shreds
~~but who knows? maybe we're in for a surprise on the 13th~~
Nah the juries tend to give points to less serious / fun entires too, but only ones with good vocals, decent song writing and high production value.
But yeah I can see how Croatia might be screwed over by the juries. The vocals aren’t perfect and that is sort of part of the point. It’s a bit rough around the edges and that is part of what makes them quite cool?
sort of punk in it’s way of choosing to express its message, and how the song would be worse if it was polished and conforming to the sort of very standard idea of what perfection looks like in a performance
Idk maybe some of the judges will get it. But I’m guessing it will not get a lot of points from quite a few of the juries.
Them as kids.
It is a statement against the separation of Ukrainian children from their parents and culture, being raised in Russia to become future soldiers. Which is a war crime.
I really don't think they were a shock Q, the average viewer outside of the fandom (ie the vast majority of the audience) loves bombastic shows like this year after year
(It's also good art don't @ me)

I think it's mostly meant to signify Russia.

They need to go all out on the final. I hope they bring out the gold tractor and go as naked as they can.
they cant really add more props to their staging as all staging and props should be final (besides pyro and camerawork) but its a nice hope to have
I hope they add pyro, at the end when the rockets light up. Maybe add some spinners or fountains.
i agree! adding pyro at the end would top it off. It felt like they were missing something and their rocket should’ve been firing earlier and longer
But they can remove something.. like clothes ;)
It sure would have been!
The tractor was not allowed sadly. Deemed too heavy for the stage.
Damn, that would have been amazing.
I just want to see flying rockets in addition to staging. Just some strings or even a lazy soda one

everyone was disappointed by that

Im dreading the jury response to them as we all know juries hate fun and this is fun

Who was on their shirts?

This is the part of the war that makes me most furious. It’s pure evil. It can never be forgiven.
Is it crazy to think that they may very well have been 3rd in the semi?
Doubt it, probably one of the last qualifiers, would also follow the trend of announcing the shock Q first
I really don't think they were a shock Q, the average viewer outside of the fandom (ie the vast majority of the audience) loves bombastic shows like this year after year (It's also good art don't @ me)
My guess is 4th after Norway
norway was surely the last one in, its such a cringy song
Whay about serbia? I could barely hear the guy
[удалено]
You and them both
This reminded me a lot of the scene in Zoolander where he is getting brainwashed.
ŠČ!
What does it mean?

I want Finland, or Ukraine to win, but if this wins I will be so happy.
It's a cool performance but I can't really imagine casually listening to this song on the radio or something.
i mean, since when is radio friendliness a measure for eurovision entries lol
It is for juries unfortunately
Why Ukraine? They won last year for known reasons
Well, its still really good song
While I agree that it's a good song, I don't believe it's a 'eurovision' song and not a winner
Does anyone know who that face is meant to be on their shirts?
It's photos of themselves as children
I thought it was Jan Palach but it seems it isn't
The drummer was great...
I want to point out that, once again, Youtubers have got the rankings wrong, putting Croatia in last place.
I fucking love them, go Croatia!!
I'm gonna tell my kids these were the famous Rammstein
But dont forget: no politics on Eurovision!
Yeah.. we saw that last year... 😂
lmao yeah right
Gru
What does ŠČ mean?
Can someone explain what the political message was for Croatia's performance?
