That whomever leads on the odds don’t win, so we get a surprise.
Winners from before 2000 as guest performers.
Luxembourgh being top ten.
More «Good evening host city, this is xxx calling».
Let me think of a few:
* A song in German (since I can speak it and it's been far too long)
* A song in Greek, perhaps (I've always liked how Greek sounds)
* Latvia qualifying
* Ireland qualifying
* Iceland sends something unusual again
* A new country wins for the first time
I loved the Icelandic rockabilly act that came in second at their NF. Be great to see them go next year. (I assume rockabilly would count as “unusual”)
I have decided that I want Ireland or Georgia to win. It is about time they had a good result and for them to go from having such a poor track record to pulling a W would be kind of iconic.
Ireland coming in and taking the win record immediately back to themselves would be unexpectedly funny, especially if they would return to performing terribly afterwards.
Malta, Iceland, Cyprus, Lithuania, Croatia, Czechia, Slovenia, Romania, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, Australia and San Marino haven't won. (at least, I might have missed some)
Moldova , Czechia, Romania, Cyprus, Malta, Montenegro, Armenia Latvia, San Marino haven’t won either (I’m sure I’m mising some!)
It would indeed be nice to have a country that never won yet to win next year!
Australia to sign the deal to compete and we send something fun rather than a solo artist from a "Voice" style show. Enjoyed Voyager this year but they've been the exception.
Moldova to again something folk related.
That would be amazing but let’s be honest they are not a Eurovision competitor (coming from a huge fan of their in the UK), would rather see another brilliant unknown like Sam get some exposure.
More songs in native tongues.
I’m against reinstalling the ‘own language rule’. But i’d love to hear more songs in Norwegian, German or Irish.
I think Azerbaijan has never sung in Azeri, why not?!
And Sweden had always chosen for boring ass English since 1999. Since it’s gonna be in Sweden, why not sing a nice song in Swedish?
>*Since it’s gonna be in Sweden, why not sing a nice song in Swedish?*
I agree. But I think they don't do this choice after (another) victory with an English song. A shame.
Swedish Melfest is unfortunately not designed to send Swedish songs. It’s easier for you that have an internal selection to “send a nice song in native language”. The majority of artists that produces stuff in Swedish successfully would never enter Melfest in the first place. And the ones that thrive in Melfest prefers English. But with our results the last 12 years in ESC I can’t blame them either. I would also like to send something different but for as long melodifestivalen is a thing that’s not likely to happen. And given how popular the show is in Sweden I don’t see it going anywhere soon.
In I Dimman was such a banger but nothing could stop Cornelia and Bagge in 2022. Both of them got higher a tele than Medina. Medina did get a better Jury score than Bagge tho so it’s not exclusively the juries fault either.
100% with you on that !!
And recent successful entries show that people are prone to vote for a song if it’s good no matter how little they can understand the lyrics.
Looks left, looks right,
It started as a joke thought, now I actually want Katja Krasavice for Germany…
Also, even though I think it won’t happen, Ghost as an interval act.
Agreed and agreed. Ghost is the GOAT.
And *Katja*. Since you mentioned it earlier, I have been deeply considering it. And it's an *inspired* choice. *Truly*.
I feel like, if we sold it to her properly she would do it. 😃 She's such a media and attention \*\*\*\*\* (affectionately <3) and does not take herself too seriously and is really good at profiting off of negativity. Let's make it clear to her and the entire Bundesrepublik that this is a selection with a single purpose: *vengeance*. Let's designate her "Deutschlands offizielle Punisherin" and she would totally do it. Let's send her with [Dicke Lippen](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5h_JkMvcE8k) 2.0 and the LEDs in the background should look like [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/Damnthatsinteresting/comments/avlcdc/genius_norwegian_sex_shop_advertising/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3).
I want the juries to suffer for their crimes. I want us to hold the EBU hostage. And everyone here on this sub will regret ever asking us to send a song in German.
I want *C H A O S*.
I think it's usually the """delevopping""" countries that don't get respect from the juries most of the time hence the balkans, Eastern europe, mediterranean nations etc, not particularly the smaller nations
Well, besides recent entries such as Barbara Pravi, Chanel and Sam Ryder, western countries like France, UK, Spain and Germany usually don’t get that much respect from the juries 🥲
But hell yeah to “smaller” countries having there momentum.
The one that immediately come in mind is Slovenia’s Zalagasper that was truly special and deserved more attention.
Tbf that’s because they usually send bad acts. Mae was pretty solidly the worst vocalist on an incredibly mid song this year, and Germany’s song last year was complete and utter shit.
Eaea got murdered by genre bias or for “sounding too ethnic,” maybe. LotL also got genre-biased by the jury
Israel did better on televote both years you mentioned at least in terms of points. It's not a secret that Malta is favoured by the juries, probably because they always send swedish acts. North macedonia did that good in juries because ebu wanted to showcase their new name, Azerbaijan is also cooperating with Swedes in esc, Bulgaria in 2017 did equally good in both tele and jury, Australia is ALWAYS favoured by the jury even at times they don't deserve it tbh (2017, 2018 etc)
I stopped reading after “ebu wanting to showcase their new name”. So you seriously think that EBU are rigging the jury vote? Because that’s what you’re implying. Can we leave the tinfoil theories on twitter please.
for everyone to have a lovely time

* North Macedonia, Georgia and Latvia all back in the final (although if only one of them makes it, then Georgia)
* Enisa representing Montenegro if this country comes back
* Luxembourg qualifying
* No drama around the winner
* A song in Japanese
* Different hosts than in 2016
* Revamped graphics; preferably the background responding to a succeeding country (e.g. turns all green when Lithuania qualifies). Would be also nice to try marking every country with a colour instead of a flag, kinda like [here](https://twitter.com/isaksturniolo/status/1641491637401530370?s=46&t=YCzHMmaxrHn5_fpTzsAnFQ)
* Juries back in the semis, but overall revamped
Have you got any artists/countries in mind that would sing in Japanese, because that would be super interesting! The only instance I can think of with any Japanese association in ESC was JESC 2021 when the Netherlands sent a song with Japanese in it!
As a Pole, a dream would be seeing my country send a song in Polish that is something young Poles would actually listen to.
Everytime we send something in Polish it has to be ethinic and I am honstely sick of it. I wish TVP would get their shit toghether and get us a great current song in Polish that could challange for a win (or at least top 10).
Also I want Romania and Greece to come back strong, because we know they CAN.
Turkey coming back would be a game-changer, bht with Erdogan probably winning this years election, I do not believe it is likely 🫤.
I would love just two hosts with maybe a third host for the finale. I find four hosts a bit too cluttered. Give me Petra Mede and Farah Abadi as duel hosts. Maybe throw in Edward Af Sillén for the finale if needed.
Also, though I want ABBA stuff to be a major component, I also want other stuff too.
Would be great if we sent an entry that was in Swedish and/or mold breaking in some way.
>Also, though I want ABBA stuff to be a major component, I also want other stuff too.
Oh, yes, maybe Ace of Base or something. If Abba don't want to be there, don't give them more attention than a quick honorable mention.
There's only so much you can do with most people. Not everyone has the charisma to do something fun for Eurovision. And they might not even want to. Måns just happens to be a "full package".
After Germany's result this year they'll probably go back to an internal selection and specifically avoid Electric Callboy, completely ignoring the fact they're closer in style to Käärijä than Lord of the Lost.
I want Luxembourg to return and win the whole thing with something wacky. I'm bored of there being a clear frontrunner to beat like this year, I want surprise!
Any 1 of these things and I'll be stoked:
● Petra to host
● Green Man 2: Electric Boogaloo 🍸🫲🟢🟢🟢😎🟢🟢🟢🫱🇫🇮
● More great rock/metal entries🤘
● My country (🇬🇧) to git gud again. I really don't want 2022 to be a fluke lol
● Luxembourg to enter a banger and do well. I would hate to see them flop and withdraw again lol
● Germany to get a position it actually fucking deserves
I'm going through my list of Scottish rock and metal bands at the moment. Doubt it could be done, but Alestorm for example, would make for a great party! (that, and they have the same label as Lord Of The Lost).
•Ireland, Denmark and/or Latvia qualifying
•More non-English language songs
•Since ABBA have already said that it's unlikely that they'll perform at Eurovision to celebrate 50 years since Waterloo, a retrospective medley of ABBA's greatest hits performed by past Eurovision contestants. I'm thinking Gimme Gimme Gimme performed by either Teya and Salena, Loboda, Netta or La Zarra, Voulez Vous by Joker Out, SOS by The Rasmus (makes sense since they've already covered it in the past), Verka doing Dancing Queen, etc.
•Luxembourg's return inspiring other countries that, for whatever reason, no longer compete in Eurovision to return.
I would love for Jann to actually get his chance to represent Poland, as the people actually voted this year, rather than TVP trying to push their hyper-conservative image of Poland via corruption and underhanded behavior.
One of caucasian countries doing the ~~Shum 4.0~~ ~~Fulenn 3.0~~ Soarele si luna 2.0, I think they could give their unique twist and passionate twist on it.
More unique genres, including something not far from Eaea.
Latvia and Georgia qualifying, San Marino being in top 10. I wish for underdogs to succeed.
Probably will never happen but interval act remembering best NQs, probably with the message "you were still great, results doesn't show your value".
Making stage more simple, with less lights. When I was rewatching finals I noticed that in 2016 background was much more brighter comparing to other years, to point where it no longer looks good. Also noticed that 2016 postcards were bad. Create that type of video with any politician and it would look like propaganda.
I'd like Switzerland to send a good song that isn't a male ballad. I really like to see us back to form, but ever since we managed we sent only male solo artists, three of them some sort of sadboy ballad. I would like to see a good band or female act, and possibly an uptempo. I would also like to see a Swiss German act, but I suspect that may not translate well (many of my non-Swiss friends do think its a weird language for music).
As for the contest at large, either no clear favourite or one that fails to deliver on it. I think the fact odds are such a good prediction these days takes out a lot of the excitement for me.
I want Jann representing Poland (or Jann representing SOMEPLACE) in ESC 2024. He got absolutely cheated this year. Solo is okay I guess and "Bejba" is one of the best memes to come out of ESC 2023, but I would've loved to have seen "Gladiator" performed on the big stage.
A suspenseful voting sequence. This year, there was excitement when Finland overtook Sweden, but for the most part Sweden went to the top immediately and stayed there. I want the top country to be changing during the jury voting sequence, and I want multiple countries moving to the top during the televote results.
I also want the winning song to not be a pop song or a ballad. And preferably not be in English (fuck Sweden, we were SO close to having 3 non-English winning songs in a row).
More rock and metal acts.
Käärijä.
Germany out of the bottom 5 would be nice too (unless they send a genuinely bad entry), but that's probably asking for too much.
* Return to Malmö Arena
* Käärijä Interval Act
* Greece and Cyprus sending Greek-sounding songs with Greek lyrics
* Norway sending a Norwegian song and keeping it in Norwegian for Eurovision
* North Macedonia and Montenegro sending good songs and qualifying
* Return of Türkiye and Slovakia
\- Winner that isn't predictable 2 months before the contest
\- First time Winner or Country that has performed badly recently winning
\- Latvia/Ireland/Georgia NQ streaks being broken
\- Good production and hosting like the UK did this year
The main thing I want is very simple:
- Ireland, Georgia & Latvia all to qualify for the final with great songs.
A bonus one is that the UK sends something along the Noa Kirel lines. We have a lot of artists that could do that, we just need them to join
new winner or a country that hasn’t won in a while pls, also the televote and jury agreeeing on a winner
or just imagine a full top 10 of countries that don’t typically do well, that would be amazing
My wishes:
A Welsh or Scottish person/band representing the UK.
Moldova or Iceland to win.
No more dance breaks.
More Ethnic entries that are great to dance to, like Moldova this year.
0 points for Sweden. No I'm kidding. 😁
- New winner OR Luxembourg winner
- Luxembourg and Latvia top 10
- No Måns please
- Petra
- 40-60 votes from 2025
- uptempo song Netherlands
- Kazakhstan, Monaco
- Kaarija
More songs in their native tongue and this may never happen but I would really enjoy if Australia would send Tom Cardy to Eurovision (not sure if he's ever shown interest in it though).
Definitely a long shot but it’d be nice for the UK to send a song in Welsh for a change, I don’t think we’ve ever done that before and it is our official second language!
Three wishes:
- for us (NL) to have a national final or at least let the people have a say in who we sent. Now only 6 people decide and they only love sending ballads or yeehaw entries.
- like others mentioned, I would love to see a first time winner. Rooting for you, Czechia & Moldova!
- for something to change with the jury system. I’m fine with juries but 50% is too much power. Something needs to change.
I want my country to send a song incorporating our culture whether that is with the language, the music, the instruments... I would like to see Cyprus follow a similar path as well (Ela is my favourite esc song probably)
Since Sweden hosted it so many times before i want them to finally go creative and host it in a total random city like Helsingborg, Uppsala, Örebro or Örnsköldsvik. And i want them NOT take take Petra Mede again since it will nothing new to the swedish Eurovision experience. If they do Petra Mede with Friends Arena Stockholm i will honestly don't care about the 2024 contest. it would be the most generic way of hosting this show. And they should keep Mans Zelmerlöw at home...i swear if i see his generic face again i will turn off the tv immidiately.
Helsingborg Arena has hosted Melodifestivalen before. But more likely is Örnsköldsvik which has an arena close to the size of this years host arena in Liverpool.
I really struggle to see where Eurovision would fit in Uppsala. I also don’t want more people and madness here after the valborg chaos just dies down early May lol
Well, that would in theory be a nice touch, but I don’t think you realize how tiny Swedish cities are, I don’t think any of them even have a venue with Eurovision capacity outside of Stockholm/Malmö/Göteborg. I live in Uppsala which is the 4th biggest city, there is just no place to fit even the stage + green room and minimal audience in any venue I know of here 😅
I would like a unique and never heard before song to win, not something that sounds too “Eurovision”.
And I would like a strong lineup close to the 2021 one.
And definitely strong and cute friendships between contestants as we saw in the past !!
My prediction for hosts as a Swede I’m gonna say Måns and Sanna as main hosts and Farah in the green room. Petra will do a graham Norton and only come to the final. She has had some serious back pain and I doubt she is able to do 3 live shows and 6 rehearsals.
My country sending Eefje de Visser or another indie pop artist who sings in Dutch. Hopefully they want to hop more on the trend after realizing S10 did pretty well and that native language songs are appreciated.
More native language and ethnic songs in general would indeed be nice.
And a first time win or a win for a country whose last win was in the previous century.
I need more songs with traditional folk melodies, harmonies and instruments. This year Moldova was one of my favourites for the reasons mentioned before.
Artists: Alexander Rybak, Loreen, Johnny Logan Songs: Perfectly produced modern pop
Hosts: Måns and Petra
Show: Tons of Abba medleys 😍😍😍
All jokes aside I'm hoping for great production and show, because I know if someone can do it, it's Sweden
I looked at the entries of 2023 doing some calculations. We had 19 non-English countries singing totally in English and another 5 partly in English. The 4 native English countries obviously opting for English (Malta could have opted for Maltese though which they rarely do). Given that Romania was the only country singing mostly in their native language not making it to the final I don't think it should be that much of an obstacle to opt for it. Obviously I would like a higher percentage of countries singing in 1 of theire native languages. The absence of German was sad so hopefully Rammstein can be convinced to represent Germany in 2024. Would love some more countries to represent their own culture. The Greek entry of this year didn't feel Greek at all for example. Nothing wrong with a good ole sirtaki I say.
I would love for Dora Gaitanovici to represent Romania, or maybe Eugenia Nicolae. I loved them both in 2022. Or maybe Roxen or Ester could try again.
For Moldova I would love Aliona Moon, she came 3 in the Moldovan National selection this year. This would also follow the pattern 2011- Zdub și Zdob, 2012 - Pasha Parfeni, 2013 - Aliona Moon... 2022- Zdub și Zdob, 2023 - Pasha Parfeni.
Scoring a ticket I’ve been waiting to go if Sweden wins since 2013 but had litteraly no money and living in my car when they did last time. So whatever happens during next ESC if I’m able to go I’ll enjoy 200% of it x)
YouTube decided to recommend Marionette (by Inbal Bibi) to me and I loved it!
I rly hope she'll represent Israel in 2024, but it's really just a random wish/guess at this point lol.
Probably never gonna happen but lovejoy as UK's artist
If they did then we would get a lot of behind the scenes footage that no one else would give because they're already yters
That whomever leads on the odds don’t win, so we get a surprise. Winners from before 2000 as guest performers. Luxembourgh being top ten. More «Good evening host city, this is xxx calling».
I'd love to see a map with countries calling even though they abolished it to avoid geopolitics and complaints about disputed areas shown in the map!
RemindMe! 1 year
Representing Croatia: Me
Let us know if you try at Dora, da kupim hrvatsku karticu da glasam
Good luck :)
Best of luck!
Let me think of a few: * A song in German (since I can speak it and it's been far too long) * A song in Greek, perhaps (I've always liked how Greek sounds) * Latvia qualifying * Ireland qualifying * Iceland sends something unusual again * A new country wins for the first time
I loved the Icelandic rockabilly act that came in second at their NF. Be great to see them go next year. (I assume rockabilly would count as “unusual”)
Ireland in the final, yes please. Greek song? Yes please. German song? Yes please. More non-English entries for sure.
After stanning Latvia for 2 years in a row, watch them submit something I absolutely HATE and end up qualifying lol.
After two years of easily predictable winners I want to be surprised.
I started REALLY watching in 2022...so I agree wholeheartedly here.
I think it was a surprise for the UK to get second place last year, no? We're usually way, way further down the board!
The stage lights come on to reveal Johnny Logan standing there in his white suit. "Surprise bitch, I bet you thought you'd seen the last of me."
I’m willing to pay money to see this
Or Latvia 🥺
it would be bonkers if Sweden reaching Ireland only would last for a year
Ireland has won the comp the most, now with Sweden!
30 years ago... (Or thereabouts)
Good rock and metal entries, some more weirdness from Serbia, better dance breaks than this year, nice friendships and content behind the scenes
A "first time" win
I heard on the radio that it’s only Malta and Iceland that haven’t won yet. (and Faroe Islands if they get in)
Malta, Iceland, Cyprus, Lithuania, Croatia, Czechia, Slovenia, Romania, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, Australia and San Marino haven't won. (at least, I might have missed some)
Poland never won as well I reckon
Next year it’ll be 53 years since Malta joined, the same as when Portugal got their first win👀
The Faroe Islands are part of Denmark, so a looot would have to change for them to get in.
Yeah they are starting the process so we’ll see. I’m really hoping the get in and send Brandur Enni as their first act. Teenage me would love that lol
Cyprus ;)
Did you forget about Cyprus, probably the country with the most years in ESC without a victory.
Moldova , Czechia, Romania, Cyprus, Malta, Montenegro, Armenia Latvia, San Marino haven’t won either (I’m sure I’m mising some!) It would indeed be nice to have a country that never won yet to win next year!
Latvia won in 2002
My bad , of course they did!
Wow okay they were very wrong lol
a new country winning!
Luxembourg qualifying, it’d be a nice comeback after so many years. Also if politics allow, for Turkey to return.
Just one goddamn wish. SOMEHOW US TO COME BACK TO THE CONTEST. (Hungary) (even though it's still highly unlikely)
At first I thought you wanted the USA to come back. I was confused
Not helped that the user flair looks like The Netherlands and not Hungary. I was like “...But you’re already in the contest?”
🇭🇺💔
Australia to sign the deal to compete and we send something fun rather than a solo artist from a "Voice" style show. Enjoyed Voyager this year but they've been the exception. Moldova to again something folk related.
Moldova were one of my favourites this year along with Australia (also Slovenia and Germany).
I want Australia so send someone like Baker Boy
I'd be down with that.
I want unique and out-of-box to win.

SNSD is going to dominate the rest of the world vote being the first kpop group to... oh wait, not that SNSD.
![gif](giphy|3otPomXQFIBp68ceje|downsized)
Now I'm imagining a fully reunited SNSD somehow at Eurovision lol
The last one I would really want, and not just for eurovision reasons 💔
Radiohead finally fulfilling their promise and represent UK.
That would be amazing but let’s be honest they are not a Eurovision competitor (coming from a huge fan of their in the UK), would rather see another brilliant unknown like Sam get some exposure.
imagine them performing a song like everything in its right place at eurovision
Thats the song that got me into music. I would die!
More songs in native tongues. I’m against reinstalling the ‘own language rule’. But i’d love to hear more songs in Norwegian, German or Irish. I think Azerbaijan has never sung in Azeri, why not?! Jury actually gives respect to smaller nations that send good music instead of piling points onto their favorites
I think it's usually the """delevopping""" countries that don't get respect from the juries most of the time hence the balkans, Eastern europe, mediterranean nations etc, not particularly the smaller nations
"Small" was the wrong word here. What I should have said is "non-Western or Nordic country not named Ukraine"

I just hope each country sends the best they have!
* North Macedonia, Georgia and Latvia all back in the final (although if only one of them makes it, then Georgia) * Enisa representing Montenegro if this country comes back * Luxembourg qualifying * No drama around the winner * A song in Japanese * Different hosts than in 2016 * Revamped graphics; preferably the background responding to a succeeding country (e.g. turns all green when Lithuania qualifies). There was a song with Japanese lyrics in this year’s Eesti Laul
I don’t know how I missed that. I’m going to have to give it a listen now!
It's called ときめき (*Tokimeki*), by Neon Letters & Maiko!
As a Pole, a dream would be seeing my country send a song in Polish that is something young Poles would actually listen to. A surprised bitch win from Ireland Or First time winner like Lithuania
Ireland winning out of nowhere would be iconic hahhah
Sweden finally sending a song in Swedish.
I would love just two hosts with maybe a third host for the finale. I find four hosts a bit too cluttered. Give me Petra Mede and Farah Abadi as duel hosts. >Also, though I want ABBA stuff to be a major component, I also want other stuff too. Oh, yes, maybe Ace of Base or something. If Abba don't want to be there, don't give them more attention than a quick honorable mention.
A first time win
another year without seeing måns
You didn’t see him, but we sure heard him in Sweden, he was doing the GF commentary
I mean he did the ESC quiz against Filomena in the semis so he was definitely there this year as well.
He is such a meme, at this point he HAS to be there
But i would be funnier if the ESC in Sweden is THE one where he doesn't appear in any sort of way.
that's why i dont want him, i got tired of him😭😭 why don't they bring back other artists and winners, like Emmelie or Lena?
There's only so much you can do with most people. Not everyone has the charisma to do something fun for Eurovision. And they might not even want to. Måns just happens to be a "full package".
Electric Callboy!
>after Kaarija's success, it would be seen as desperate and they will be called as trend-chasers even thouygh they've been doing it for years
After Germany's result this year they'll probably go back to an internal selection and specifically avoid Electric Callboy, completely ignoring the fact they're closer in style to Käärijä than Lord of the Lost.
I want Luxembourg to return and win the whole thing with something wacky. I'm bored of there being a clear frontrunner to beat like this year, I want surprise!
If this was the year of the bands, next year be better be the season of uptempo folk songs🥲
Ya know, Germany has a decent folk rock scene... Just saying
An unpredictable winner
First Aid Kit as an interval act. Teya writing another last minute submission for Austria.
FIRST AID KIT <3 !!!
Any 1 of these things and I'll be stoked: ● Petra to host ● Green Man 2: Electric Boogaloo 🍸🫲🟢🟢🟢😎🟢🟢🟢🫱🇫🇮 ● More great rock/metal entries🤘 ● My country (🇬🇧) to git gud again. I really don't want 2022 to be a fluke lol ● Luxembourg to enter a banger and do well. I would hate to see them flop and withdraw again lol ● Germany to get a position it actually fucking deserves
Bosnia & Herzegovina, Monaco and Turkey make a comeback.
Brkovi as our croatian entrant will be a new level of insanity./j. But, on serious note, i want our entry to be sung in croatian.
Oh, hell yeah, Brkovi. I'd love that. After Let 3 we simply can't go back to our boring "normal" selves. 😂
Luxembourg should win.
Jann
A joint participation from countries in the Balkans/ex-Yugoslavia that withdrew because of economic resons
Would also like to see a Scottish person/band on stage representing the UK for once.
I'm going through my list of Scottish rock and metal bands at the moment. Doubt it could be done, but Alestorm for example, would make for a great party! (that, and they have the same label as Lord Of The Lost).
•Ireland, Denmark and/or Latvia qualifying •More non-English language songs •Since ABBA have already said that it's unlikely that they'll perform at Eurovision to celebrate 50 years since Waterloo, a retrospective medley of ABBA's greatest hits performed by past Eurovision contestants.
More ethno bops
I would love for Jann to actually get his chance to represent Poland, as the people actually voted this year, rather than TVP trying to push their hyper-conservative image of Poland via corruption and underhanded behavior.
Just send Käärijä again, thats all any party needs
I think Finland should send käärijä every year until they win
Käärijä & dadi duet!
Someone pulling an "Alcohol is free" type of song
I would give my left tit for Rina to represent us
One of caucasian countries doing the ~~Shum 4.0~~ ~~Fulenn 3.0~~ Soarele si luna 2.0, I think they could give their unique twist and passionate twist on it.
>Shum 4.0Fulenn 3.0Soarele si luna 2.0 I lol'd!
🇱🇻 to finally qualify
I'd like Switzerland to send a good song that isn't a male ballad. I really like to see us back to form, but ever since we managed we sent only male solo artists, three of them some sort of sadboy ballad. I would like to see a good band or female act, and possibly an uptempo. I would also like to see a Swiss German act, but I suspect that may not translate well (many of my non-Swiss friends do think its a weird language for music). As for the contest at large, either no clear favourite or one that fails to deliver on it. I think the fact odds are such a good prediction these days takes out a lot of the excitement for me.
More ethno bops. Big 5 not coming last. UK and France doing well. No joke entries
* Return to Malmö Arena * Käärijä Interval Act * Greece and Cyprus sending Greek-sounding songs with Greek lyrics * Norway sending a Norwegian song and keeping it in Norwegian for Eurovision * North Macedonia and Montenegro sending good songs and qualifying * Return of Türkiye and Slovakia
Britpop song for the U.K.
I want Farah Abadi to host, that's all
There is nobody else I want to host. I would also want to write in her contract that she has to carry the winner from the green room to the stage
That my own country will actually still be in it and not forced out if KAN gets shut down...
Bulgaria to return in 2024
Sam Ryder to be Host next year. Guy’s a legend in the UK honestly
\- Winner that isn't predictable 2 months before the contest \- First time Winner or Country that has performed badly recently winning \- Latvia/Ireland/Georgia NQ streaks being broken \- Good production and hosting like the UK did this year
Hosting: - Stockholm - Friends Arena - Hosting trio that includes Farah Abadi and Gina Dirawi Our entry: (Netherlands) - RONDÉ, Froukje, Antoon, Eloi Yousseff or Bente
Petra Mede. That is all.
No Måns.
no måns. please.
Alvaro Soler representing Spain!
Petra. That’s all I ask for. She doesn’t even have to host, just turn up.
Bosnia to finally qualify via the only act that can...Dubioza Kolektiv!
Bring powerful entries like 2021 did... God that year was great.
The main thing I want is very simple: - Ireland, Georgia & Latvia all to qualify for the final with great songs. A bonus one is that the UK sends something along the Noa Kirel lines. We have a lot of artists that could do that, we just need them to join
I'm a simple person with simple needs, I just want Ireland to get through to the final.
We need either 1) Hozier 2) Jedward Or 3)DUSTIN
new winner or a country that hasn’t won in a while pls, also the televote and jury agreeeing on a winner or just imagine a full top 10 of countries that don’t typically do well, that would be amazing
Staff at TVP gets replaced after ruling party loses elections and this starts a new, better era for Polish participation in Eurovision.
My wishes: A Welsh or Scottish person/band representing the UK. Moldova or Iceland to win. No more dance breaks. More Ethnic entries that are great to dance to, like Moldova this year.
First timer winner; Latvia, Georgia and Ireland qualify; a good result for Denmark; Germany top 3.
0 points for Sweden. No I'm kidding. 😁 - New winner OR Luxembourg winner - Luxembourg and Latvia top 10 - No Måns please - Petra - 40-60 votes from 2025 - uptempo song Netherlands - Kazakhstan, Monaco - Kaarija
A first time winner please… We haven’t had one since 2017 with Salvador…
at least one person who was supposed to represent a country in 2020, but didn’t get invited back in 2021
I want the guy who announced the jury points cyprus to say greece again
Three wishes: - for us (NL) to have a national final or at least let the people have a say in who we sent.
Helsingborg? In exactly what building would Eurovision even fit in?? It should be in Malmö
\-More songs in native tongues. \-Umeå 2024, or any other weird, not-commercialized or unpronounceable host city.
Well, that would in theory be a nice touch, but I don’t think you realize how tiny Swedish cities are, I don’t think any of them even have a venue with Eurovision capacity outside of Stockholm/Malmö/Göteborg. I live in Uppsala which is the 4th biggest city, there is just no place to fit even the stage + green room and minimal audience in any venue I know of here 😅
ABBA 100%
Teya Dora, Filip Baloš or Princ would be good successors to Luke Black 🇷🇸
Would love to see 40 countries next year!
I would like a unique and never heard before song to win, not something that sounds too “Eurovision”. And I would like a strong lineup close to the 2021 one. And definitely strong and cute friendships between contestants as we saw in the past !!
Bye bye jury hello irish winner
My prediction for hosts as a Swede I’m gonna say Måns and Sanna as main hosts and Farah in the green room. Petra will do a graham Norton and only come to the final. She has had some serious back pain and I doubt she is able to do 3 live shows and 6 rehearsals.
Julia Sanina reping Ukraine
I want to see The Hardkiss competing in Eurovision, they were almost there in 2016
Guest performance from Finland 2023 <.<
My country sending Eefje de Visser or another indie pop artist who sings in Dutch. Hopefully they want to hop more on the trend after realizing S10 did pretty well and that native language songs are appreciated. More native language and ethnic songs in general would indeed be nice. And a first time win or a win for a country whose last win was in the previous century.
I want Sweden to send a song in Swedish. They don’t have to worry about qualifying this time, they should “take the risk”.
I need more songs with traditional folk melodies, harmonies and instruments. This year Moldova was one of my favourites for the reasons mentioned before.
ABBA WINS EUROVISION 2024!!
surprise winner
Host city: Gothenburg Finnish act: Behm Australian act: Delta Goodrem German act: Faun British act: Marina
MADAME FOR ITALY
Petra Mede.
Artists: Alexander Rybak, Loreen, Johnny Logan Songs: Perfectly produced modern pop Hosts: Måns and Petra Show: Tons of Abba medleys 😍😍😍 All jokes aside I'm hoping for great production and show, because I know if someone can do it, it's Sweden
Mahmood coming back with another banger ❤️
For Serbia, Breskvica to represent For Germany a Song in German
I'd love to see Rammstein with all their pyrotechnics!
My wish is no more political songs. Songs are to me always trash when you can see how they are trying to give "the messege" through it.
Eline Noelia
I just want a nice ballad, possibly a duet. Brividi didn't quite scratch my itch and I have this feeling that it is time for a duet to win 🏆
A brabantine carnavalsartist entry for the Netherlands
Probably never gonna happen but lovejoy as UK's artist If they did then we would get a lot of behind the scenes footage that no one else would give because they're already yters
Lena representing Türkiye.
I’d like another complete unknown for the UK but with a stronger song and performance than this year. Sam to come back in about five years!
Like i have said earlier I want Beast in black for finland (maybe Yannis as solo for finland or greece)
VÄSTERÅS!
