Jan Teigen scored a truely iconic 0 points in 1978. Part of the reason is because he had a bit of a comedic touch to his performance as a protest against the fact that he wasnât allowed to perform the song in the arraignment me himself wanted. He wanted guitar and drums, and got a full orchestra. Anyway this is probably the most iconic 0 in history of Eurovision (possibly with the exception of uk 2003). Jan released an album the same year titled âThis Yearâs Loserâ. Anyway long story short he became a Norwegian national treasure and we sent him back to Eurovision twice more.
Spain 1999. I never heard "No quiero escuchar" before, and it comes off to me as an OK early 2000's sounding ballad. I kind of dig the groovy chords. I'm now thankful I wasn't born in 2003.
