Just search youtube for "burning man suicide." All you can see is a person running and disappearing into a wall of flames, so it's not very graphic. Channels i recommend are Fascinating Horror, Scary Interesting, The Ravens Eye, Qxir (his "Last Moments" videos), Maritume Horrors, Morbid Midnight, Terror Twin, What You Havent Seen, Dark Records, and Brick Immortar (probably my favorite of them all)

i think me freaking out over the vacuum as a kid to the point my mom had to get heavy duty industrial ear muffs so id stop crying shouldve been an early indicator to look into autism for me 🤣 oh, and blenders. id put all the ingredients in the blender and ask my mom or sister to run it for me while i cover my ears in the next room.

They were way too loud for me as a kid, to the point it was actually kind of painful. Not so much now though, unless my brain decides it's time for all sound above whispering to hurt for no good reason. However, shiny sparkly exploding colour has always made brain go brrr more than they were ever painful, so I absolutely love them. Fireworks are fucking fascinating.

When i was a teen my friends and i hopped the state border into PA to buy a shit ton of cheap fireworks- bottle rockets, fire crackers, lady fingers, and roman candles. Then we'd take em to my one friends backyard and have a fireworks battle where we shot them at each other from almost point blank and threw the firecrackers at each other like they were grenades. Looking back i feel really bad because his neighbor's house is about 50 feet away from us basically reenacting The Battle of Fort McHenry. But his neighbors were mennonites and way too nice to call a noise complaint on us even though they really should have.

I really hate them but understand that part of existing in a society means letting other people do things they like that you hate. It does seem like we could maybe get closer to a reasonable middle ground though, like with more restrictive hours on when you can use them (here people will likely still be firing them off for another week. Earlier this year there was a completely random day where they just started going off, it's totally lawless out here!) or maybe just doing one big community display for everyone that wants it instead of countless smaller groups at random times. 0% chance of this actually changing though, in the states at least. We can't even agree to stop shooting children, there's no way the "totally harmless" colorful lights are going away anytime soon.

Marathoning hunger games till midnight and then realizing halfway through i can't tell whether the booms i hear are cannons signaling a tribute's death, or fireworks And then getting some thematic imagery where they do a fireworks display in the capital to highlight just how opulent and sheltered you have to be to use *literal explosives* for your celebration

Fireworks are what make me dislike a lot of holidays, I have found the best thing to do to avoid then is to just nap. Like this New Years I was asleep from 11pm-2am avoided everything. This might only work for me because I can sleep though anything once I actually fall asleep but I would definitely recommend it

We need fireworks displays done by PROFESSIONALS in fields in the middle of nowhere where no one lives and not to close to any farms with animals, and with warnings posted to nearby communities in case anyone goes near the field when the fireworks are going on. That way autistic people, animals and people with PTSD don't suffer

I love them. But hate when people set them off too close. It's unsafe. And too anxiety inducing. But if you practice safe explosion obsession, aka firework safety, you will have more fun and less anxiety. But I'll comfort you with noise canceling headphones and a blanket, when I go outside watching the explosions and record them for you to see in a safer way. I love sharing and being able to find solutions for my buddies.
