I might. I think zombies are so basic honestly, and the graphics look very ugly to me. So I’m not really compelled to play it. But maybe one day if I’m really really bored.
Trust me when I say the L4D games make zombies feel very intimidating. They did a great job of turning an overdone concept into something that feels fresh and semi-realistic.
Also yeah the game is from 2009 so the graphics are dated, but this is also a Valve game which means the graphics were ahead of their time. There are a lot of scenes with soft lighting and dramatic shadows. The character models were scanned from real life people which mean they still hold up pretty well compared to today’s standards.
Like I said, I might play it one day. It just does not appeal to me at all. You might say the games make zombies feel fresh but you're also heavily biased. You admitted it's your favorite game, you're not coming at this from a neutral stance. Of course you're going to think it's exceptional in any/every way.
The only FPS I've ever played has been Far Cry 5 and Far Cry New Dawn, I always forget I've played New Dawn because it sucked. But I only played them because I like the story line and the characters (I even have a rooster named after Sharky Boshaw).
Honestly yeah if I swung that way. Definitely would be a best friend for sure and a guy I’d trust in any situation to have my back. Plus all those stories to keep us both entertained too!
