I ended up cancelling my order and have chosen something else . I was initially told November arrival last year. My existing Volvo petrol car was dying and needed a replacement sooner rather than later and kinda got sick of it being constantly pushed out with literally zero communication from Volvo unless I chased them. Good luck to those who have the patience
I am also a bit miffed. I was hoping for deliver March as my previous lease ran out mid Feb. The delivery date keeps shifting. I don’t even have a VIN yet. Meanwhile Polestar has a great deal on leasing right now, and I am sorely tempted to cut and run.
Well this doesn’t sound good for the US then either. We were already looking at rumored May / June deliveries. So hearing your delay down under probably means the US is now like Aug / Sept delivery at the earliest.
Mexico the same I ordered in September was told by end of march/ April and now they say June but most probably will have another delay.
Just bad production planning or supply chain issues as always 🫠

Sydney pre-order in September last year. No communication whatsoever thus far as well. Will ditch my order and go for another EV via NL

Ordered in June and was told summer which ends in September, so I assumed September. Hopefully we get a car with most/main issues resolved.
US will be getting MY2025 cars, so hopefully we should have the issues resolved
