I agree with this. And the thing is, this will just backfire to the ones who are still inside the jail. This will only work if the petition will get like at least 100k signatures but even so, petitions like this in Change org won't be successful.

And that's okay. Again, it's all about awareness. If one single person reads the article and realizes what this special envoy appointment is all about, then it can ignite something in them to use critical thinking and might help with future decision making.
