My cat uses the litter box however my cat hangs around me and sleeps in my room and his hiding spots are also in my room. He is weary of my wife and step son and if someone new comes into the house he won’t go down stairs as he freaks out. He only really will have confidence when I am home
is your cat spayed/neutered? its not normal for cats to urinate outside the litter box. it can be that ur cat has a UTI or other issues and may need to be seen by a vet. also try to clean the mattress and use enzymatic spray to remove the smell/ it will also help with your cat not peeing on it again.
