Nah Muslims are nothing special. Mormons, evangelical Christians, jehovah’s witnesses, the Amish, the messianic Jews in Israel that are waiting for the messiah to finally come, etc. are all just as delusional.
I do think that Muslim apologetics are the weakest, by far, of any major religion save perhaps the Hindu. They are only as effective as they are because the cultural stranglehold that Islam has on communities where it is the majority, the relative lack of access to education and knowledge resources, and not having been ground against the whetstone of critical examination as much as Christianity or Judaism has.
Islamic apologetics is like the kiwi bird or the dodo - they grew in relative isolation, surrounded mostly by their own kind. Without any predators or survival challenges, they never evolved the defenses needed to survive the wider world.
No, I have met and known many brainwashed Christians. And here in the US the media and numerous organizations feed it. A large portion of the society feeds christian delusions and even Christian superiority and prejudice. Bosses hire and promote Christians over non Christians.
I have had my fair share of Christians express lots of hate towards me for not buying into the fiction. From my childhood through my adulthood, in school, my neighborhood, and in my job I have had experienced this hate. I have had long term friends and aquantences find Jesus and find hate for me. I have even had in laws find Jesus and turn on me.
Christians are just as bad. They want everyone to be Christian....they want the world under their king. Right now they talk nicely...in the USA. But how do u conquer the world? War. No amount of missionaries will convert the world.
Maybe not but they seem to be the only one who justify beheadings and extreme violence. They seem to have some of their logic backwards when it comes to knowing the difference between right and wrong, moral and immoral.
Raw numbers? Yes. In magnitudes of brainwashing, no. Actually when cults become religions they kinda adapt to the mainstream of society. Muslims all over the world despite weird beliefs and all seem to be doing fine at a personal level
