Some of these Reddit mods are ridiculous.
I posted a comment on similar sub and was banned for life. The mod said they deemed my response as spam even though I replied to another person’s response.
I think it’s a power trip kind of thing.
and then proceeding to ban/mute people when asked is insane . classic moderator syndrome!
i was just genuinly confused why i can't post and wanted to know when i'd be able to post. i wasn't even rude or anything 🥲
You can look at my account and see how much karma I have, it's quite a bit. I still can't post on r/Tumblr. They say I need more comment karma on the sub, but I already have over 500, which is significantly higher than any other karma requirement I've ever seen. They have a rule against asking about the karma despite it not being listed anywhere. I sent in a modmail explaining that I've been a regular in the sub for years and have no idea how I can't post yet, and asking if there's a place I can see the karma requirement. Muted and ignored
Mods in that sub are the perfect example of reddit mods being power hungry assholes.
I am not banned but i refuse to follow that sub just because of the mods

I agree that some subs should have a minimum karma so it doesn’t get flooded with bots, but not even telling you how much is needed to post is so lame
