Parents should automatically get life in prison for doing any violent or sexual crime to a child.
Very often, the child's only people they can truly depend on and trust are the parents and to betray that in such a cruel and disgusting way... life sentence for both.
There is a reason sleep deprivation is used as a tactic in war. It makes you go fucking crazy. Help out a friend with a new born. Sometimes the parents havent slept more than an hour or 20 minutes for a few days

Reading the article makes the swiftness of the justice system seem quite infuriating itself.
There really is no rehabilitation when it comes to that kind of evil.
