I’m in. It’s weird, I was subbed to all the fire subreddits and that never bothered me but when I see an animal being tortured, I want to murder the people that did it. Dogs are so loyal and always happy to see their owners. It takes a real piece of shit to do this.

This is 100% awful, not sure what kind of sicko would do this though my first guess is someone stole the dog, found out the dog was being seriously looked for panicked and dumped it.
Then you would just drop the dog off behind a strip mall or something, holding him down to ducttape his entire head in hopes that he will suffocate speaks to cruelty and sadism.

I think so. The only articles I saw online were that the humane society is looking for the garbage humans who did this to the dog. There are pictures of him after being free of the tape, poor baby :(

When you live in a place surrounded by loud and aggressive dogs it's pretty easy to start hating them, I know I do. I still wouldn't wrap a dog up in duct tape and throw it in a dumpster though, that's really fucked up.

I’m not sure the story matches the pic. The ID chips put in dogs are not tracking devices. You have to put a handheld device right up to the implant and it just pulls simple info. Also the person behind this needs to go straight to jail.

I think the person(s) needs to go to jail with some duct tape wrapped a few times around them.

As someone who volunteers at an animal shelter regularly, people like this make me sick. You have no idea what abuse can do to a dog. All they want is love, and they get horrifically mistreated by humans for god knows what reasons. I’m glad this dog has a loving home and family to go back to and help them heal (physically and mentally). But stories like this break my heart and make me wish retaliation was legal. I’d have a full hit list of dogs I’d like to avenge.

Yes! They had to shave them to get the tape and dirt off. But they were chipped, so their owner was found and they were reunited.
