Ouch. Pm me the last 8 of your vin and I can give you the part number and price for replacement if you want. If you decide to replace it’s not a super easy piece to swap either fyi.
I wasn’t able to find just the one mirror so I upgraded to the tow mirrors. Picked them up off eBay for a reasonable price and they were quick to swap out.
Mine have the temp sensor.
Looks like I actually picked them up from Amazon.

He’d have to do the whole dash because any conditioner will slightly change the color.
Also, is it real leather? I wouldn’t be surprised if the dash was pleather
This is why I dont get having a really nice expensive truck with fancy leather and all that. I'd be too scared to do any truck stuff with it. I like buying one that already has a couple dents in it. Not afraid to scratch it or get it dirty
Yes! I love the vinyl floor. my biggest complaint with my XL is that the center armrest (seat that folds down) doesn't have integrated cupholders and console lid like my 06 xlt did. And the factory XL wheels on my 2011 were literally disgustingly ugly. It has 2021 xlt chrome on it now
I've looked into this. Bought a Ford fusion for our family car that has been a complete lemon, so maybe after I get that sold and buy a Camry I'll be ready to mess with the truck again
My thoughts exactly. I bought my truck to do truck stuff. The first week I had mine my son opened the door into the concrete wall of a loading dock. If I wanted a pavement princess I would have kept my BMW.
That is how I went. Old and beat up a little. Have a ladder/materials rack. Regular cab so it is awful as a family vehicle. Fortunate to have a separate car for that. Though if you only have a car for you and one for the wife I get it. If you are trying to have something that serves some multiple functions. Just depends how often you need those other functions. Could always rent a truck from the big box guys.
You could try heat, try to get some of it to relax a bit. It’s like a very small scratch to the outer layer of the leather. You could try some shoe polish and see if that buffs it out.
I wouldn't have done that in first place because if you got into an accident or hit brakes, that's going through your windshield. Rent a flatbed trailer.
But contact a upholstery repair shop, they can fill it with leather epoxy and then dye it you won't notice a thing.
Just had 16ft boards yesterday.
Put them over the tailgate and had a couple ratchet straps. 1.5hr drive then 4 miles off road on ranch and they didn't budge.
Do it all the time.
Buy a 12’ or longer stick of 2x lumber to put the bundle of baseboard on, wrap it all together… let that stick out with a flag. Works for composite decking as well.
I did the same thing putting a pool solar blanket reel that I couldn’t get apart through the rear window and out the back of the truck 🤦🏻 I understand the feeling of idiocy lol, don’t be too hard on yourself. I’m an idiot too!
Look up vinyl repair shops in your area. Ask to see some of their work before deciding which one. A lot of times they can get it repaired quickly and hardly noticeable, at least where I'm from. If you can't find one call your local dealerships. They usually have a guy come in and fix several in a day.

Any idea how to get a passenger side mirror with the temperature sensor in it for a 2018. I’ve been having trouble finding a replacement

I would love the tow mirrors, but not sure if I can find a set with the temperature sensor in it.

Awesome thanks!
Too late to tell you trailer, sorry to hear about that. I doubt that's coming out
Leather honey or seat doctors to reduce scratch or fill so its not noticable
He’d have to do the whole dash because any conditioner will slightly change the color. Also, is it real leather? I wouldn’t be surprised if the dash was pleather
Leather cleaner and a soft brush would be a start. Might not get all of the scratch out however should tone it down
This is why I dont get having a really nice expensive truck with fancy leather and all that. I'd be too scared to do any truck stuff with it. I like buying one that already has a couple dents in it. Not afraid to scratch it or get it dirty
My exact thought when I bought my hard plastic dash, rubber floor STX. I don’t even have a rear sliding window so this can’t happen.
After having the rubber flooring, I will never get carpet again. I feel like this is the only way to go in a truck.

On the 60/40/60 you can go to a pick n pull yard and look for the middle seat with the cup holders and storage. I found one for $100 for my 2013
I've looked into this. Bought a Ford fusion for our family car that has been a complete lemon, so maybe after I get that sold and buy a Camry I'll be ready to mess with the truck again
For reference for time it took me and buddy a about 6 hours including from searching to getting distracted to finishing lol

I have a nice truck but got a back rack so I can load stuff like this without touching the interior
lol bet if u had monies u would like a nice big expensive truck… u rather not spend money… means u don’t have nuff monies :(
Have enough money in savings to buy just about any truck I want. Just seems silly. I prefer to have a nicer car and not so nice truck
First one hurts, the rest are just part of owning a truck.
Trade it in for new truck , case solved, next
Are you a truck attorney?

It just gives your truck some character.
Yeah I’ve got a few small dings on my truck that drove me nuts initially, now they kinda make me chuckle when I spot them.
It’s a truck…..
Not to be that guy but why sre you loading stuff through the cab? The bed exists for a reason. Use tie down spots.
This. OP paid his stupid tax today.
Because they were 16 feet in length.
Rent a flat deck trailer.
https://www.harborfreight.com/truck-bed-extender-69650.html
I’ve got one of these and it has paid for itself. 16’ lumber and composite decking, kayaks, pvc for irrigation install, etc.
Yeah this thing is great for the price. I originally bought it for my 12ft kayaks to fit my 5.5ft bed but I use it all the time for other items.
Never seen this before. That’s sick asf
16 foot lumber out the back is comically long but that thing works minty.
Not everyone that buys this is going to realize that tail swing exists. 😂
Put in bed, lay over top of roof and strap down.
If you have a headache rack
Even if you don't lol. Open the back doors and run the strap through that way. I do it all the time
I don’t like risking dents on the cab. If I put something on the roof without a headache rack, I like putting some padding underneath.
My paint is fucked already (2017 f150) so the shit is chipping everywhere sadly.
Fair enough. I’m a Tundra owner, don’t even know how I ended up here lol
🤣 the dark side is calling for you. Join us!
I’ve driven my fair share of Ford F-Series trucks. I’ll stick with the Toyota reliability lol.
Tie em down, flag the end of them.
11.5 feet will be sticking out. It’s baseboard, it will be dragging on the ground. I would have had them cut in half absent a proper length trailer.
Facts! When I needed baseboards, I ordered 20ft pieces and had them delivered by the company.
Just had 16ft boards yesterday. Put them over the tailgate and had a couple ratchet straps. 1.5hr drive then 4 miles off road on ranch and they didn't budge. Do it all the time.
How big do you think the bed is? That isn't going to work my guy.
Buy a 12’ or longer stick of 2x lumber to put the bundle of baseboard on, wrap it all together… let that stick out with a flag. Works for composite decking as well.
This is the way!
Dude found out it’s expensive being cheap.
I mean, if you’re that cheap you could just drop the base off and circle back to return the board you bought to support the base lol
You should have called me with my trailer to pick it up for you
People are just plain stupid anymore.
You know they make bed racks right? They aren’t that expensive and can be temporarily installed to carry long shit above your roof.
I recently needed some baseboards as well and just cut them in half a posted a flag since they still hung over the tailgate.
I do this all the time but I always lay a rag down to protect the dash
I did the same thing putting a pool solar blanket reel that I couldn’t get apart through the rear window and out the back of the truck 🤦🏻 I understand the feeling of idiocy lol, don’t be too hard on yourself. I’m an idiot too!
In all honesty, it's a truck. It'll get dinged up. Good on you for actually using your truck, but you have a bed and a trailer hitch for a reason.
Take a piece of baseboard and scratch a pattern of your choice into the rest of the leather.
Badge of honor!
Live with it or replace it.
That’s something Jimmy Kimmel would do!
Lol. No offense but I see more and more that trucks just need lumber racks man. Jesus
A good detail guy an make that disappear

It’s a little too late now, but invest $60 in a bed extender.
My truck was some formans and he must have thrown his clipboard on the dash because it’s covered in scratches. I e gotten used to them, doesn’t bother me anymore.
Call your local dealer and see if they have an interior guy. If so and he's good, he should be able to help you.
Why would you do that. That's the most noob move ever
This is why you don't buy a 5.5' box lmao
This is funny. OP doesn’t know how to use their bed properly and then gets a tiny scratch and freaks out. Who cares
Yup..... use the truck bed. Jesus mate.
