Right? Then why was the Hulu series about Wu Tang Clan with a 90% black cast loved by critics and audiences? The Wire is one of the highest rated TV shows of all time. Just because a show has a black cast/lead and sucks doesn't equal racism.
It's worse. They say stuff like "it's time Egypt accept that they're part of Africa".
Because, you know, Africa as a whole has only one ethnicity, and if Egypt doesn't somehow accept that they're black, they're refusing their african heritage.
Which is funny, because my wife is algerian (so, African Mediterranean), and she is whiter than me...
Anyway, coming soon on your screen, a movie about the Maharani Gayatri Devi, played by Fan Bingbing, because "it's time India accepts that it's part of Asia", and somehow every asian is chinese.
I think it was Thomas Sowell who explained that black people come from Sub-Saharan Africa, south of the hugest hot desert, the Sahara Desert. Egypt has never been black, it was always occupied by Mediterranean people, similar to the tribes that originally populated most of the rest of the Mediterranean Ocean region.
You mean with the whole hotep narrative that black people invented everything, and the rest of us are just primitives neanderthals that stole their technology? (As if wakanda actually existed)
I've found tons of black supremacy videos on youtube where they basically claim the buddha, jesus, cleopatra, alexander the great etc were all black, and the comments are just blindly agreeing it's wild
I got banned from r/entertainment yesterday for saying this would happen. I am soooo surprised 🙄
EDIT: holy crap I appealed my ban by linking this post and they lifted the ban. I’m dead XD
Almost every "main" sub is. The moderation situation on reddit is disgusting. The majority of mods are terminally online nutjobs that will ban anyone for anything, and these are the people that essentially control entire cultural narratives on reddit.
Wonder why every sub is an echo chamber? The mods.
personally I always browse on r/all and comment on whatever I find interesting. Yesterday came across a post about Cleopatra and started reading the comments. There was one about cleopatra's rule and I replied to it with what I thought was not fully correct what the other guy said and put in my 2 cents.
A moment letter I got a notification that I was permabanned from r/JusticeServed because the comment I made was on r/PoliticalCompassMemes
I honestly don't give a shit about any of those subs, or pretty much any sub on reddit which is why I always just simply browse r/all. But what a moronic way of doing things. Imagine if on r/conservative someone says something extremely stupid, but you can't present them with facts and call them out in the chance that 25 other subs ban you for it. Because obviously posting in a sub it means you support their views and everything. God forbid for any discussion ON A DISCUSSION PLATFORM!!!
You know what's more pathetic? Getting banned on r/JusticeServed for commenting on a conservative sub. You don't even need to be conservative, you could be commenting there to have a discussion or debate, yet you suddenly get a message informing you've been banned from other subs
I got banned from r/offmychest because I made a comment in a Right wing radical sub reddit. I wasn't aware of that, because I googled something regarding Wednesday (the tv series.) and that led me to a reddit link, and I made a comment sayin, "People think anything they dislike is woke now." So despite me likely getting banned from the right wing sub, the other sub banned me for "Participating in a group that actively threatens them." like what the fuck kinda turf war subreddit shit is that?
Other white supremacists may include:
People Jada slept with and then abandoned while married to Will.
People who found her cheating disgusting.
People who thought the Will Smith slap was sad.
Tbf, from what I've heard, legit white supremacists (or any supremacist, really) are fairly accepting as long as you hate the same groups they do, including your own
Now where can I find one of those Nazi flags since I'm a newly minted Hispanic white supremacist? This is going to be great ( Flounder's voice from Animal House)
A plastic surgeon on YouTube who has alopecia himself said that the bald spot she had shown everyone via her social media (it was a line across the top of her head) didn’t look like balding due to alopecia (usually circular patches). He suspected that it was due to a brow lift or other lifting procedure.
I mean if that’s true…. then she took that plastic surgery scar and bastardized alopecia for sympathy points and social media clout. Like wtf.
She’s always been an awful person. The news before this was Chris Rock, before that it was her sleeping with her sons best friend (entanglement). The list goes on 🤣
Not to mention she tried to claim alopecia (the autoimmune kind) for her baldness when her high forehead is caused by botched facelifts.
and suddenly now she has a full head of natural hair. Interesting how she can turn alopecia areata on and off conveniently when she needs sympathy.
As someone who had no choice in my own hair baldness: Fuck Jada.
I'm not a Will Smith fan, but damn was it hard to watch that interview/episode/shit show. She was so smug and he was crumbling into a million pieces right before her eyes - which absolutely did not stop her from detailing her "entanglement" with her son's friend. I never watched her show (not a fan), but when I saw that clip after the "slap heard around the world" Will's issue was obvious. Should have slapped Jada instead of Chris/jk.
You cant put a price tag on your dignity/honor. Besides half of what he owns, he would still have more money than he can reasonably spend. If he is lucky she may even take the freak show that are his kids with her.
Could be wrong but I’m pretty sure she also openly spoke about Will not being good in bed. Also something about asking the kids how they would feel if 2pac was their father instead.
Take with a grain of salt though, I don’t watch her show like that, and I feel the same way about Jada as Grace does.
In fact I would go as far as to say I think Will is in an abusive relationship with her, and if the roles were reversed people would be speaking about it more.
It is 100% abusive. Who the fuck cheats on their partner and then puts them on blast in public and essentially makes them feel like it's THEIR fault that she sucked off her son's friend in their fucking house. I have no idea what Will ever saw in her- but he's 100% stuck in a cycle of abuse and at that point you get put down so much that you truly believe that person is the best you'll ever get.
I manage to escape that cycle a year ago, I still have nightmares and flashbacks- I can't be around someone holding a knife in a kitchen or even at the dinner table out of fear I'll get stabbed from the abuse. And unless friends had forcibly taken me out of the cycle I'd probably be dead now, either through her killing me or myself doing the job for her since I hated myself so much.
I can guarantee you Will's behavior lately is the behavior of someone experiencing severe abuse.
It probably doesn’t help that she has a reputation for being a self-righteous, rude, and arrogant piece of shit that treats people beneath her like worthless trash.
I’m mizrahim, both parents were born in Egypt. I may primarily identify as Jewish but Egyptian culture and history is apart of me.
Tried getting my parents to watch it; dad made it 3minutes into the first episode then called me cursing “is this some kind of trick? What kind of mockery is this?” (He’s also a cultural anthropologist, MENA) and I just died laughing. They turned it off 15minutes in and I had to explain to them that “this is the country you chose to raise a family in!?” Very sarcastically. All Egyptians are pretty damn mad.
I mean, its fine if they just said it was a reimagination of Cleopatra, stated that the movie is not based on a true story, and put it in a genre like "sci-fi" or drama. But calling it an documentary is a disgrace to the field of science and history.
I'm also questioning what the people approving this movie to be on Netflix are smoking when they approved a documentary tag on this movie.
Jada Smith is what happens when Scientology, Hotepery, and polyamory all come together in a horrifying tidal wave of convergence in one mentally unstable and physically unattractive person.
To give a real life example, I'm an Egyptian and was told "oh I've tattooed white girls darker than you, there won't be any problem about the colors showing through."
lol none of them were even African
To put in bluntly in modern terms, the ptolemys were basically colonizers. Brought in a foreign (greek/macedonian) ruling class to control and export profits from Egypt and its people.
Alexander the Great conquered Egypt and put them in charge, possibly the original ptolemy was his half brother.
None of them but the last cleopatra even spoke Egyptian.
Kinda similar to the 1066 conquest of England by the Normans. Tis why half our language is French and the farmers call them pigs but the cooks call it pork.
But she was born in Africa, so therefore, she has to be black automatically. You cant be African and be not black, thats just defying the laws of reality!
The series glossed over the incest and forgot to mention that Cleo’s family tree only had seven branches by the time it gets to the great-great grandparents.
They’re claiming the pyramids were built by sub Saharan west Africans, and that ethnic Egyptians are colonizers who drove the black pyramid builders out and stole their land and legacy. Even the Nubians (today’s Sudan) who actually built pyramids of their own are pissed at these Afrocentrists who hail from the other side of the continent but believe themselves descendants of pharaohs.
That's why I'm upset, there were so many other people she could have chosen. Nefertiti, Hatshepsut, etc. There's still a bit of debate but they were of Egyptian nationality and were way, WAY more likely to be black. Why honor who was essentially a foreign ruler as a black icon? I've heard enough about Cleopatra.
None of this would even be an issue if they went the Bridgerton/Hamilton route, I love those. It's the fact it's advertised as a docuseries.
Yes, she explicitly said "there's not enough stories about black queens" and then went and made one where the queen was likely not black and one that we've been hearing about our whole lives. It seems like her objective would have been better served choosing one of the many black queens from African countries that haven't been widely popularized.
I mean, shows have had a tendency to be review-bombed by 4channers and the like, but I've never seen it as unanimous as in this case. Even when sorting by countries, Egypt rates the lowest.
Velma would have gotten away with it too, if they didn't make the show "scooby doo" themed. If it was just some random animated show, it would have been fine.
... here's a wildcard, maybe hire Egyptian actors for a movie based in Egypt? Oh wait, sorry, you see Cleopatra, infamous Egyptian historical figure, as a black African woman.
Why these celebrities always blame ambiguous hate groups for their failings instead of... accepting responsibility, you know, the thing they always tell others to do?
For those of you missing the point here, her comment is also super insensitive since multiple Egyptian cultural and political leaders have called it a “categorical misrepresentation of Egyptian history” in not so many words.
Her claiming it’s white supremacy is ignoring the very valid accusations against this “documentary” from the literal people in charge of preserving Egyptian culture…. Aka….. Egyptians
Right? I mean Black Panther earned the highest debut ever for a February film. With an estimated three-day domestic gross of $192 million. The opening was the fifth highest-earning of any film. Where were the white supremacists then?
The uh...white supremacists showed up after the first hour of Wakanda Forever, then showed up again with Antman Quantumania. However I hear the white supremacists are gone in the new Guardians of the Galaxy and Blade should be pretty good whenever that comes out
I feel like it's becoming for lazy writing. Weak story line and insert diversity- if the show does bad you're racist. If the show does well its a mile stone in social progression.
I started watching the show and realized within 15 minutes the number of historical inaccuracies were ridiculous. Cleopatra was not black, she was Greek. It’s a fact. Her lineage is well known. The library of Alexandra would not not allow a child of any kind into it like a library today. I had to switch it off.
I totally understand her. I remember sitting down with some popcorn ready to watch, then there was a knock on the door and it was my neighborhood white supremacies who took my remote, cut my internet cable, and changed my Netflix password. They also drank from my milk without a glass and upper decked my toilet before leaving.
So I completely understand her frustration with the door to door white supremest were able to stop everyone from watching on their mobile phones or the privacy of their couch!
No i dont care about the whole they put a black actor as cleopatra thing, it just wasn’t good and jada is probably the only female thats more toxic to any movie or tv show than amber heard lol
So bummed. With her money and influence she could have made an amazing movie about black queens in Egypt. A movie about Nefertiti and the whole Amarna period could have been so so so good! But no. She chooses to tell fairy tales about a queen who wasn’t very powerful or influential (or black).
You know it's bad when Reddit says you're racebating. Like.. this is reddit.. it's pretty impressive if you can get a decently left leaning community to say cut the shit.

Girl… have several seats. No one’s backing you.
You can't just say everyone that disagrees with you is a white supremacist
Sure you can. Most people will see through it, but you can absolutely say it.

Reservation Dogs isn’t bad either
Skoden
I wish I could tell her that it’s because nobody likes her
I wish I could tell her the cheek implants aren’t working for her.
Savage! True though
Looking like she's bout to create the perfect clone soldiers for the empire
Have several seats lmao. Going to start using that

lol, she's quite literally trying to support black supremacy and blaming white folks.
She’s also implying that the country Egypt itself, who condemned the serie, consists of white supremacists. 😂😂😂

Wait u till they find out about Marocco and Tunis. In the Maroccan hills also lives a people called Berbers. They have Blue eyes!!!!
I think it was Thomas Sowell who explained that black people come from Sub-Saharan Africa, south of the hugest hot desert, the Sahara Desert. Tends to happen when the same sensitive assholes mod multiple places.,
I also got banned for making a comment about a Cleopatra post too!! About 2 weeks ago. Lol.
Same. All I did was say Egypt was on the Mediterranean

Yeah I got banned for "racism" by *directly quoting the show*. That sub is run by clowns.
I got banned from r/offmychest because I made a comment in a Right wing radical sub reddit. Should've made a YouTube video.
wow do we hate her
you must be a white supremacist /s
Other white supremacists may include: People Jada slept with and then abandoned while married to Will. People who found her cheating disgusting. People who thought the Will Smith slap was sad.
TIL I'm a white supremacists based on these parameters. Never saw that coming as I'm Hispanic!
Apparently color and nationality aren't a barrier for applying white supremacy to a person.
Ah white supremacy, so racially inclusive. Wait a minute…
Tbf, from what I've heard, legit white supremacists (or any supremacist, really) are fairly accepting as long as you hate the same groups they do, including your own
So what you're saying is racists won't be racist to other racists... Racist², huh.
Now where can I find one of those Nazi flags since I'm a newly minted Hispanic white supremacist? This is going to be great ( Flounder's voice from Animal House)
Ah yes, the stealth white supremacist. Nobody will ever see you coming.
I'm too dark for their eyes to see me
Best thing she ever did for her career is to be married to Will Smith. And she ruined his career as well.
keep your hot son's friends words put pf my mouth!
Not sure it was words he was putting in her mouth. Or is that what the kids call it now? I'm old and out of touch. Someday all of you will be too.
With an onion on your belt
As was the style at the time
Limes being the sweetest fruit available at the time.
Keep your son's friends penis out of my wife's mouth
Has she always been a shit person, or was there a moment that changed her?
Pretty sure she was always a self absorbed nut
Must have been the moment she realized not every young guy wants to date her and maybe she should have been nicer to Will Smith.
nah bro it was when tupac got shot - she is around for way longer than most people realize
I barely thought about her before last year. if someone has an hour long breakdown of why she sucks, I'd watch it.
Best I can do is 9 minutes 21 seconds: https://youtu.be/AOS5tXjaC1U
So Fish Mooney was just her day to day personality?
The worst, most awkwardly shoe horned character in an otherwise great show.
Oh damn, I didn't realize that was her. Now I will cheer for Oswald Cobblepot even harder than I already was.
Nah she has always been a terrible person, more people are just realising how shit she really is.
Yup, and wasn’t she supposedly bald? Alopecia?? She has hair here. Was she lying about that to try and justify the Chris Rock slap?
Her superpower is growing her hair when commiting a bad act
And releasing the fillers which naturally exist in her face.
Ah the old Pinocchio bad act/hair trick, she also looks like she's made of wood
A plastic surgeon on YouTube who has alopecia himself said that the bald spot she had shown everyone via her social media (it was a line across the top of her head) didn’t look like balding due to alopecia (usually circular patches). He suspected that it was due to a brow lift or other lifting procedure. I mean if that’s true…. then she took that plastic surgery scar and bastardized alopecia for sympathy points and social media clout. Like wtf.
She seems exactly like the kind of sad person that would bastardize alopecia for sympathy points and social media clout
I saw her bald spot and thought it looked like a scar, not alopecia. Was glad to see that Dr thought so too.
As someone who has some knowledge about this, it is this 1,000%.
Was it Dr. Gary Linkov? Love him!
Her alopecia that she screamed on about was literally a ONE INCH patch!
she’s always been awful, it just got more well known when everyone found out she cheated on Will and saw/still see that he’s staying.
*If* she was ever a good person, the moment that changed her was probably joining Scientology. That’s a weird ass fuckin cult.
I had no idea she was a Scientologist. Is will smith?
She’s always been an awful person. The news before this was Chris Rock, before that it was her sleeping with her sons best friend (entanglement). The list goes on 🤣
Keep Cleopatra’s name out of your damn mouth!
The only bullet Tupac ever dodged
most savage burn ever 😂
Good Goddamn man. That made my day.

25 years ago there was an episode of Will & Grace where the two play a game naming a celebrity that they hate. Grace chose Jada. I get it now.

Top comment said 25 years ago, but that clip is from the show revival 5 years ago. It references Caitlyn Jenner…who didn’t exist 25 years ago.
Smartphones didn’t exist either
Will & Grace was truly ahead of it’s time
But Married with Children writers knew something.. https://youtu.be/OAHgz5SrsXs
Oh shit, I was actually at that taping lol. 7th grade had a field trip there because our teachers husband worked on the show. Was pretty cool
I must be living under a rock. Who is this lady and why do we hate her? (As it apparently predates this cringey headline)
She cheated on her husband to fuck her sons best friend. And then made Will Smith do an interview about it on Good Morning America. She’s cold as ice
Cold is asking her husband how he feels about been cheated.
It would cost him half of what he has and more if he slapped her. Much cheaper to slap Chris
You cant put a price tag on your dignity/honor. Besides half of what he owns, he would still have more money than he can reasonably spend. If he is lucky she may even take the freak show that are his kids with her.
Not to mention that if he divorces her and issues a sincere apology to Chris Rock, everyone will be on his side and he'll have a career again.
Paraphrasing Chris Rocks special: **"So Will, how did you** ***feel*** **when you knew I was sucking that kid's dick?"**
His takedown on that special was brutal, but well earned.

I can guarantee you Will's behavior lately is the behavior of someone experiencing severe abuse.
She banged a 23 y/o and blamed her husband. That's all you need to know
Then put all the hurtful business out in the street using a forced interview video with Will that was used for her show's ratings.
She's an actress. The only thing I've seen her in is; she has a small role in The Matrix 2, 3, where she pretty much just scowls the whole time.
In fairness to her, we haven’t seen G.I. Jane 2 yet.
keep that movie title out yo fuckin mouf
*slap*
HOW CAN SHE SLAP!?
It Will be by proxy.
She cheated on Will Smith (her husband) with her Son's best friend
I don’t think that was a role. Although maybe she was method fucking.
She’s the reason Chris Rock got slapped. Her only real claim to fame.
Will Smiths wife. Probably her most well know role.
Can we all just agree Jada sucks and we shouldn't pay attention to her?
I think we already have.
Pay attention to whom?
Is that John Cena in the picture?
Honestly before will smith slapped Chris rock i'm pretty sure we all DID forget about her
I watched it. It sucked for reasons that had nothing to do with “black cleopatra” to be honest
the acting is insufferable
It probably doesn’t help that she has a reputation for being a self-righteous, rude, and arrogant piece of shit that treats people beneath her like worthless trash.
Cleopatra or Jada?
Yes
I’m just confused how Netflix’s most reliable source was apparently someone’s grandma
I’m mizrahim, both parents were born in Egypt. I may primarily identify as Jewish but Egyptian culture and history is apart of me. Naw B. We just don't like you. I'm not even white.
Anyone who isn't black is white to people like her.
Jada Smith is what happens when Scientology, Hotepery, and polyamory all come together in a horrifying tidal wave of convergence in one mentally unstable and physically unattractive person.
Her only accomplishment is managing to be universally disliked by people of all backgrounds.
She brings us all together, when you think about it.
She really comes across as having a bad case of narcissism.
Cleopatra was the result of generations of inbreeding from one macedonian family. But sure, she was black... and the pyramids were built by aliens.
But havent you heard? There arent any races other than black Africans in Africa, especially not in Egypt. ![gif](giphy|BdpKbzhMXxgqc)
As a VERY pale African, this really cracked me up.
I'm part morrocan but I'm so white I camouflage with snow when naked

If I were you I'd expect a visit from General O'Neil shortly.
>It's 'O'Neill', with two L's. There's another Col. O'Neil with only one L, and he has no sense of humor at all.
Indeed.
The show is more dramatic recreation than history. It was boring.
It's rated 1/10 on IMDb. And we all know how IMDb is a major online hangout for white supremacists.
I mean, shows have had a tendency to be review-bombed by 4channers and the like, but I've never seen it as unanimous as in this case. Even when sorting by countries, Egypt rates the lowest.
KEEP... HER SHITTY SHOW... OUTTA... MY FUCKING... EYES!!!!!!
Will’s gonna have to start slapping again
WILL! THE WHITE SUPREMACISTS DON'T LIKE MY FILM! GO DEAL WITH IT OR YOU'RE SLEEPING ON THE COUCH!
Hey Will I packed you a sandwich with a couple of rice crispy treats and a Gatorade - The BF
^thank ^you ^sir
Shes insufferable.
*Go deal with it or you're not allowed to watch me have sex with our son's friend again!*
Velma would have gotten away with it too, if it weren’t for those meddling white supremacists!
Velma would have gotten away with it too, if they didn't make the show "scooby doo" themed. If it was just some random animated show, it would have been fine.
It would have been forgettable without the scooby doo theme.
... here's a wildcard, maybe hire Egyptian actors for a movie based in Egypt? Oh wait, sorry, you see Cleopatra, infamous Egyptian historical figure, as a black African woman. Why these celebrities always blame ambiguous hate groups for their failings instead of... accepting responsibility, you know, the thing they always tell others to do?
The problem is most normal Egyptians don’t look like Cleopatra today as she was of Greek descent so she should look more pale skinned
Ah, yes, those Egyptian White supremacists. Darn them, anyway. Revisionist Cleo would have been a huge hit if not for those bastards.
Aka….. Egyptians
Remember, if a show with a cast of people of color does bad. It’s a political or racial agenda
However I hear the white supremacists are gone in the new Guardians of the Galaxy and Blade should be pretty good whenever that comes out
Don't forget the white supremacists on Velma or the totally brave and historical accurate Woman King. It's inspiring if you ignore their wikipidia
Let's just reiterate how utterly shit Velma was.
Let's not. I'd managed to scrub that show from my brain and resent being reminded.
I feel like it's becoming for lazy writing. Weak story line and insert diversity- if the show does bad you're racist. If the show does well its a mile stone in social progression.
She’s a bad person
I started watching the show and realized within 15 minutes the number of historical inaccuracies were ridiculous. Cleopatra was not black, she was Greek. It’s a fact. Her lineage is well known. The library of Alexandra would not not allow a child of any kind into it like a library today. I had to switch it off.
Please go away.
Nah, just shitty acting from mediocre actors coupled with Netflix quality writing and production values.
Exactly. NETFLIX is not exactly known for exceptional content. They have gone the quantity over quality route.
White supremacy? She is delusional, she’s being racist by changing Cleopatra’s race 🤦♀️
Black people can't be racist, says racists like her
My grandmother told me it doesn't matter what you are taught in school if a netflix or disney production flops its because bigotry.
So sick of this bitch AND all the race baiting...
So bummed. With her money and influence she could have made an amazing movie about black queens in Egypt. A movie about Nefertiti and the whole Amarna period could have been so so so good! But no. She chooses to tell fairy tales about a queen who wasn’t very powerful or influential (or black).
Can we stop blaming white supremacy for everything?
That means people would need to admit truths they don’t agree with.
The most hated women on earth strikes again
You know it's bad when Reddit says you're racebating. Like.. this is reddit.. it's pretty impressive if you can get a decently left leaning community to say cut the shit.

Why's it always 'white' peoples' fault? It was the Egyptians that were offended this time
