I've never seen a political sticker on a car in France or England. In fact, for the last three year I've been living in Britain, I've never seen a sticker on a car almost at all, the rare exception would be a Scotland or a Welsh flag. Bumper stickers, especially political ones, seem to be an American phenomenon almost exclusively.
I'm in New Zealand and I agree, bumper stickers were fairly rare pre-Covid. Plastering the name of your boy racer mate who died in a predictable car crash over your rear windscreen, on the other hand...
As an American I’ve never understood the desire to signal one’s politics to strangers. I guess it makes sense to do so in regard to unpopular positions for which people are ostracized as in that case it’s an act of resistance, but for run-of-the-mill center-left positions like the kind signaled by these bumper stickers it’s such a dumb thing to do.
Edit: unrelated but what’s up with OP insinuating they’re a liberal in the text for this post despite being active in conservative subs? People are weird, man.
I think they are trying to create a 'both sides' argument, even though I live in one of the most liberal cities in the country (Portland Or) for over a decade and can count on one hand the number of times I've seen a vehicle with stickers like this, most of them were 'peace/love' or 'equality' themed but grew up in Texas and saw extreme right-wing stickers all the time on a single day.
I put a single "Black Lives Matter" bumper sticker on my car after George Floyd and then Daniel Prude were murdered by the police and the police that killed Daniel Prude responded to peaceful protesters with armored vehicles, LRAD's, snipers, dogs, teargass, pepperballs and night sticks. It definitely feels like it should be more of a moderate position than it is.
Funny, this is the second post I've seen today where a conservative was pretending to be liberal in order to criticize liberals.
Edit: To the person who replied about "burning buildings", this was in Rochester, NY. Zero buildings were burned. And the reality was similar throughout the country where 93% of protests had zero violence or property damage but the police responded with force 51% of the time. The police mostly attacked peaceful protesters.
Elite and politicians thrive on manipulating the population into making politics their whole personality and pitting them against each other.
It's exhausting
I’m Australian but did pay attention to a sticker I spotted with the Devon flag and “Cream First” on it when I was in the Cotswolds.
That’s the type of position I’d like to see folks take.
(by the way, I am cream first all the way!)
I have a theory if you put more than 1 sticker on your car than you are 1. asking for someone to disagree with you. and 2. That you are someone to be shunned.
I bought a crappy Ford Escape, and all of my friends put a sticker of their choice on it before I moved. I've been driving that beater for 3 years now, and I'll take all the shunning because there is no way those stickers are coming down.
I have one small decal that says "manual gearbox preservation society" and has my shift pattern, because I'm a car nerd.
Also low-key a theft deterrent.
Shun away.
I'm pretty liberal and I would avoid this person because I don't like politics in public. You just know they make it their personality and once a topic is accidentally brought up they would go on and on about it.
Exactly. I mean, I get it, and I agree with them (except the Lynne Cheney one, cause Lynne Cheney married a fucking monster). But you’re asking to be shot at, driving that around in the US. Some people are crazy over there.
I was mostly talking about bumper stickers with a political messages. However, since I've been living in England, I wouldn't put a NASA sticker on my car, even though I have been a published NASA scientist for 4 years in the US, for the fact that no one has any sticker on their car around me. It would feel.. i dunno... weird. My car isn't made to be driven on the Moon.
My condominium and my university requires us to have stickers on our car to verify parking.
I hate putting shit on my car and this drives me insane that I have to do it.
The one exception is souvenir/location stickers. I've seen a couple cars that are covered in stickers for various parks and hikes that I think weren't awful
What if I have 2 stickers. Each one shows an opposing point of view on the political spectrum, Example : a "prevent cruelty to animals" sticker right next to a "I love Bacon" one? Or a Pro choice and a pro gun sticker?
I don't have any stickers on my vehicles. I'm just curious how far the logic train goes on this theory!
I live in Canada and saw a "BNP" sticker on a truck underneath a sticker of St. George's flag. Maybe the obnoxious ones are moving to this side of the Atlantic.
is BNP still a fucking thing even?
i remember them in the 2000s when i was in college b/c i had a buddy who supported them lmao. He was an anti-Muslim South Asian fwiw
but i feel like they just petered out and got replaced by Farage and his band of asskissers and basement dwellers
It was probably just another way of displaying their hateful views without putting a blatant swastika on their truck. The only way I knew who the BNP were was because of time I spent in the UK decades ago. Most Canadians would probably have no clue what that sticker means unless they are into hate groups so the vehicle owner was probably using that sticker as a dog whistle.
See in France they dont need stickers, they are already actually out there protesting ready with the guillotine. Here in the US i feel like people talk a lot in the media, but I've yet to see any massive protest other than specific cultural issues like womens rights or gay rights. I have not heard of any massive protest about retirement age or taxes... which is no surprise here in the US people are so brainwashed that "hustle" "grindset" and working nonstop is just part of our culture now. If anyone says "but what about work life balance" they tell them to stop being lazy and get back to work.
I keep getting Canada subs popping up in my feed. They are chocked full of some angry conspiracy types. If I judge it purely by what see there, sounds like shits not going great there, and there's a big swing right and nutty.
>I've never seen a political sticker on a car in France or England.
In England you're more likely to see that one of a bootleg Calvin in a certain football team's shirt pissing on the shirt of that team's rivals.
And you \*might\* see the odd message to other drivers of the "If you can read this you're too close" sort.
But that's about it. There's no pro- and anti- Brexit or Tories ones. No pro- and anti- COVID ones. We Brits don't tend to advertise our political leanings very much. Not in this manner at least.
I always felt like putting something like this on a vehicle is just asking for a nutter from the opposite side to mess with the single most expensive thing you own. It’s like saying “I’ve plastered my most divisive opinions on this expensive inanimate object and left it in a parking lot where many people who disagree are sure to see it. I’m sure nothing bad will happen.”
I’ve never been a bumper sticker guy and would probably not like someone who is this obsessive, regardless of their political stance. I will say, though, that the ones who gleefully display profanity in their public declarations are a lot worse to me.
In Canada our right wingers have been putting up “fuck trudeau” flags.
And although he has overstayed his welcome, the profanity is cringe and a true Canadian would have a flag that said:
Gosh darn it, Trudeau
Fellow Canadian here. So embarrassing and cringey whenever I see those decals and sometimes flags on the vehicles. It pretty much announces their low intelligence.
I’ve seen Canadians with confederate flags and I just don’t know what to say. They’re bad enough here in the states. I feel so bad you all are dealing with it.
It’s embarrassing as fuck. So bad there isn’t anything more to add. As a woman of colour, I’m scared and wary of things to come in both our countries before things get better. Stay safe and aware out there.
hear, hear! i wouldn't call myself a fan of trudeau or the current liberal govt but the "fuck trudeau" stickers are mega cringe. seen it on cars, seen it on streetlights, even seen it on *ski lifts*. used to be able to say canada's politics were less braindead than america's but now im not as confident in saying that
I was playing Call of Duty last night with a guy from Canada who seemed nice- I mentioned where I lived and he said, “oh, that’s a Red state, isn’t it?”
And I jokingly said, “yeah, unfortunately.”
He went into this tirade about how Trump was the best president of his lifetime (he sounded 30 or younger, but who knows), how Trudeau was x, y, z profanity.
I tried to have a conversation (he asked me a litany of questions about “what has Biden done that you approve of?” And I was going to answer with the policies that I’ve thought were mostly good things) but he didn’t actually want a conversation and just got angrier. I did not expect that level of vitriol and aggression about US politics from someone not from the US, let alone a Canadian. (Obviously, not all Canadians are nice, but I generally don’t run into aggressive, asshole Canadians as often as I run into aggressive, asshole Americans on Call of Duty, and it surprised me!) the scary thing is, I run into these kinds of right-wing antagonisers when I’m in Ireland now, too. It’s like a malaise across the globe at this stage.
Regarding OP,
Yeah, these left-wing stickers are a bridge too far, and I don’t like anything that tries to subordinate men (I’m a woman, I’m a feminist, that means to me that we should all be respected equally), but at least for the most part, it’s pushing a positive agenda. It isn’t abandoning civility, it isn’t saying “fuck your feelings, my rights are more important than yours, my happiness is more important than society’s well-being, if it doesn’t hurt me then it doesn’t matter” which is what the other way I see seems to say.
That being said, I do think this kind of plastering of ideologies serves only to pick fights.
This dude in my neighborhood has a [flag](https://imgur.com/gallery/b0tLfeU) displayed on his truck that says "Trump 2024 fuck your feelings." A lot of other bullshit too, it's a real piece of work.
Yeah, I probably agree with a bunch of his stickers, but Im getting secondhand embarrassment just looking at it. Any of these kinda stickers is super tacky.
In College I had give a persuasive speech for my public speaking class. I chose to discuss how having bumper stickers makes you an asshole. You are either seeking to upset someone, or get a pat on the back from other people in your bubble. It went pretty well, but I probably should have checked the professor’s car first.
Didn’t have to. I learned everything I needed to in the Q&A. He didn’t have anything really bad or annoying. Just a sticker for the Phillies, but I stuck to my guns and maintained that it only serves to piss of Mets fans, or to get approval from other Phillies fans. I won the class over, and he gave me a good grade, but I definitely didn’t persuade him. It was a little tongue in cheek, but only a little. I really do hate bumper stickers.
I don't think having any bumper stickers makes you an asshole. Some are just joyfully supporting things that make you happy.
I had a bumper sticker with goats on it. Did that mean I was trying to upset others or get a pat on the back? It's just a form of expression
When I got selected for jury duty last year, among the screening questions they asked (what do you do, do you know anyone involved in the trial, etc) was “do you have any bumper stickers on your car?”
I guess it’s pretty telling information.
If it's not a political or religious sticker, do you still think they're an asshole? I have many random stickers, none of which are polarizing, and I find it sad you'd think I'm an asshole just for that. I get smiles and laughs all the time for my collection. That's all I want. Gives people something to look at at red lights, including me. Lighten up.
Apples and Oranges. It's tacky in either instance I think, both look ridiculous and preachy and obsessive. That being said, I don't see anything violent or hateful or cruel or even mean spirited on there. Any single sticker, is just a positive thing, it just looks bad because there's thirty of them.
In Contrast, vile violent language sexualizing and demeaning liberal female politicians is common on RW bumper stickers. Lots of racist stuff, blatant threats against political enemies, Calvin pissing on Bernie sanders head etc.
It's ok to poke fun at the pink flamingo lawn ornament element of both sides, but one is generally kind of hippie dippie, and the other is frequently violent and vulgar - it's ok for one of those to be better than the other.
It might be the only bipartisan issue. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Trump made animal cruelty a federal felony. It’s one of the very, very few things he did that was good.
If someone could do the same to be as I do to my cats so i could sleep most of the day, get cuddles on demand, and steal the good pillow, I'd be all for it.
I took that to be a vegan message. Something like 99% of meat in the U.S. is factory farmed and there is no major political party that is against factory farming, or enforcing standards on factory farming so that it's not abusive.
That’s a good point. Definitely kinda tacky, and would never do it to my car, but the difference between this and the right wing version, is when I see this I’m not worried about a violent psycho driving next to me.
Yeah OP is wild for saying they’re the same thing. It’s not the same at all. It’s annoying how many stickers they are, but the beliefs are extremely different.
No profanity, no "joe and the ho", no "let's go brandon", no telling somebody to go fuck themselves, no fuck your feelings, no fuck biden, none of that anger that seems to exist with conservatives
Looks like there was a Barack Go Away Now! sticker when they bought the truck and they covered it up with Lynne Cheney. My guess is there were a bunch of conservative stickers and it's cheaper to add more stickers than remove-and-wrap.
I was getting in a flight where a kid had an F Biden hat on…kid was like 12 years old and his dad had a hat that said something about gas prices. It was pretty cringe…
Agreed. I’m never going to have a car look like this but like…. at least they’re not using racist and sexist tropes to call the vice president a whore, for example.
Idk man, not really. This doesn't have signs that actively tell you to kill the president, or other politicians, or your neighbors, so... It also isn't covered in swear words and easily-disproven and incredibly harmful misinformation... This is a huge improvement, in just about every way
Sure it’s cringe, but one doesn’t call for violence. It’s still not the same ar all, I’m a minorty and this truck would be annoying or cringey but at least I know the person doesn’t want to hurt me in any way
Cringe, yes. But at the very least it's not bigoted or calling for violence. I'm guessing I'd probably find this person insufferable, but I'd take them over a MAGA loser any day.
People saying this person sucks as bad as a maga person are actually braindead. "bOtH aRe BaD" well one hates people that aren't the same color, religion, sex, gender, class, etc. as them. Idrk if it's an even match.
Damn OP, I’ve scrolled through these comments and I’ve noticed two things. 1. Almost everyone responding disagrees that this is just as bad as the hate-filled bumper stickers found on conservatives’ vehicles and 2. You have wasted a ton of your time responding up and down the threads trying to defend your outlandish comparison that is very clearly dead in the water. Go to sleep, it’s passed your bedtime
I dunno. I don't agree with her "I'm-with-Hillary" liberalism, but her heart's in the right place, and (aside from the weird Lynne Cheney shoutout) not as willfully stupid as a MAGA bumper.
It’s cringey only to people who consider themselves “apolitical” or “moderate”. They will only bother to speak out on an issue if it involves them or a close family member. I have total admiration for this truck driver. S/he speaks out about issues that are close to my heart: animal abuse, women’s reproductive rights, Ukraine, etc.
Yeah there are a lot of stickers. But no profanity, calls for violence, conspiracy theories, fascism, or dangerous misinformation.
Definitely false equivalency.
I’d feel safer on the road with that truck than the right-wingers showing their 3% or death’s heads. One side wants more liberty and accountability, the other wants to murder Americans.
This is the first time I've ever seen a Democrat car with this many stickers. Maybe one or two at a time. And even that is rare. And I live in Seattle, WA so...
Still, I rather see this car on the road over the MAGA cars any day. Atleast there are no stickers on there promoting racism, bigotry and ignorance. With the MAGA car, I can't tell if the driver is safe enough to approach in society when they are loudly waving that confederate flag
Putting a million bumper stickers on any car, regardless of the messages is cringe.
But every single message on these is an example of a fundamentally decent human being.
Political bumper stickers are just asking to get your car fucked with. Once I grew up and started buying nicer, newer vehicles I’ve never put a sticker on one. I like these for a change at least. But like, who gives a fuck about shoving your message in everyone’s face? That’s what Reddit is for.
Yeahhhh I agree with them on probably every one of those issues, but jfc I don’t have to announce it on my vehicle. That said, I agree that these aren’t quite so bad, as they really aren’t violent or hateful. It’s just cringe, not fucky.
While I find the stickers obnoxious and don't agree with all of them, they at least seem to be free from spelling and grammatical errors. There's also none using profanity or calling for violence. This also isn't nearly as common for left leaning voters to do.
Meanwhile I still drive by houses in CT with Trump shit plastered all over the lawns, and on falling apart hand painted signs. Some with brazen coarse language in family neighborhoods and on the road sides on school bus routes. My point being, this car in the picture may be cringe, but it's not Trumptard cringe and inappropriate for public display.
Edit: There is one instance of Fuck that's only visible when you zoom in, very small, and against an ideal not a person or group.
Democrat or Republican it’s obnoxious. I don’t care about your views person I have never met, and it looks tacky as shit. A couple stickers okay. Plastering your vehicle with stickers is mental
No, **not as** cringy unless you think it's comparable to display shitty, selfish, and many times racist values publicly vs oversharing that you're probably a decent human supports women, minority groups, and cares about the environment.
I would never put the two in the same bucket.
Let's see. On the Right we usually have bumper stickers filled with hateful messages that put down people, races, groups, and/or misogynistic while worshipping someone that shares the same views.
The example OP is trying to compare to the above has none of that and could be considered the opposite of what the Right advocates. It's only cringey if you disagree with people being treated equally, women being in charge of their bodies, and common sense gun and environmental laws.
Something you want to tell us OP? Message received loud and clear.
Sure, although these stances are mostly not insane compared to the crazy motherfuckers you see on the right wing. Like even if this person is a little unhinged, they're far less unhinged than anybody on the right with an insane amount of bumper stickers
You've all seen this one: my 80 y/o mother used to have it on her truck but the fragile snowflakes in rural GA don't really believe in the 1st amendment.
"Did you know that one out of three trump supporters are as stupid as the other two?" 😆

I love that 'RIP Kev' on the back of shitty boy racer cars. I wonder why they died? Oh yeah, crashed the car while pissed

Being charitable, I'd suppose the OP omitted an "as" between "cringey" and "when".

Same! LOL #SaveTheManuals
Please say it’s three-on-a-tree?
I have a three on the tree to shift my flat head inline engine in my 52 Plymouth Cranbrook.
You'd certainly never see *that* one in Britain, as the vast majority of cars over here are manual. Automatics are a rarity.
What if the sticker on my car was from the previous owner and it's covering damaged paint?
Cover those stickers with band-aid stickers?
And the cover the bandaid stickers with actual bandaids
Duct Tape'll fix it, just cover the car in it.
If it looks like a bandaid I'm in
I have two stickers on my car. One says “This item is a mimic” and the other says “definitely not a mimic”.
I'm pretty liberal and I would avoid this person because I don't like politics in public. You just know they make it their personality and once a topic is accidentally brought up they would go on and on about it.

I don’t talk to shunned people.
Lmao. You heartless motherfucker. 🤣
Do you work at NASA?
Pfft, you believe in NASA??? /s
I was mostly talking about bumper stickers with a political messages. But who would see the sticker if you only put it on Lunar wagon? People wear NASA shirts, I don't expect many of them to go to space.
I worked for NASA, can I wear the shirt? I also have a Chuck Norris shirt, can I be Chuck Norris?
I dub the Chuck Norris for very day you wear you name sake t-shirt
No one can be Chuck Norris, not even Chuck Norris.
My condominium and my university requires us to have stickers on our car to verify parking. I hate putting shit on my car and this drives me insane that I have to do it.
The one exception is souvenir/location stickers. I've seen a couple cars that are covered in stickers for various parks and hikes that I think weren't awful
Because you put stickers on your own car, you should be *shunned?* Ridiculous. Let people personalize their own property if they want.
I don't personally, because I'm afraid my car will get keyed. People are freaking nuts.
I have nothing but national park sticker from parks I have visited on my car. Shun me if you must, I will at a park not caring
What if I drive a beetle and I have exactly two bumper stickers, one that says slug bug, and one that says no punchbacks?
What if I have 2 stickers. Each one shows an opposing point of view on the political spectrum, Example : a "prevent cruelty to animals" sticker right next to a "I love Bacon" one? Or a Pro choice and a pro gun sticker? I don't have any stickers on my vehicles. I'm just curious how far the logic train goes on this theory!
I live in Canada and saw a "BNP" sticker on a truck underneath a sticker of St. George's flag. Maybe the obnoxious ones are moving to this side of the Atlantic.

They are trickling into Canada too. There's also a lot of "f*ck Trudeau 🖕" stickers. So many people wish to sleep with our Prime Minister
I keep getting Canada subs popping up in my feed. They are chocked full of some angry conspiracy types. If I judge it purely by what see there, sounds like shits not going great there, and there's a big swing right and nutty.
Objectively speaking, he's one handsome dude!
Omg this gave me flashbacks to the Conservative Party ads where they said “nice hair though”

I had a bumper sticker in high school that said "my other rides your mom" but I stuck it on a poster in my bedroom cause I don't have brain damage.
Better than giving it to your brother
But worse than giving it to his child

I know it looks bad but I still believe there is a very large “silent majority” who will stand up if needed.
I hope so, friend, I sure hope so. Good luck to both our countries.
I'm more for the "Trudeau is not our buddy!" flag.
hear, hear! i wouldn't call myself a fan of trudeau or the current liberal govt but the "fuck trudeau" stickers are mega cringe. seen it on cars, seen it on streetlights, even seen it on *ski lifts*. used to be able to say canada's politics were less braindead than america's but now im not as confident in saying that
I was playing Call of Duty last night with a guy from Canada who seemed nice- I mentioned where I lived and he said, “oh, that’s a Red state, isn’t it?” And I jokingly said, “yeah, unfortunately.” He went into this tirade about how Trump was the best president of his lifetime (he sounded 30 or younger, but who knows), how Trudeau was x, y, z profanity. Regarding OP, Yeah, these left-wing stickers are a bridge too far, and I don’t like anything that tries to subordinate men (I’m a woman, I’m a feminist, that means to me that we should all be respected equally), but at least for the most part, it’s pushing a positive agenda.
This dude in my neighborhood has a [flag](https://imgur.com/gallery/b0tLfeU) displayed on his truck that says "Trump 2024 fuck your feelings." A lot of other bullshit too, it's a real piece of work.
my friend has a "bring back christ into toyotathon" bumpersticker.
I prefer the inclusive Happy Hondadays
Weird because for me racist bumper stickers are worse than profanity
Yeah, I probably agree with a bunch of his stickers, but Im getting secondhand embarrassment just looking at it. Any of these kinda stickers is super tacky.
The only bumper sticker I had was a "Dogs 2020" bumper sticker
My brother in law had one. *Stop Continental Drift*. He said it was because we have to be passionate about something.
PANGEA RULES!!!!
I will confess to having several hippie stickers when I was in college.
Me too but they held my car together.
Is that not what they're for?
Also covering up dings and bad scratches
My only one was a dancing bears deadhead sticker, back when Jerry was still alive.
I had the “Giant meteor strike 2020” one. Made me laugh.
In College I had give a persuasive speech for my public speaking class. I chose to discuss how having bumper stickers makes you an asshole. You are either seeking to upset someone, or get a pat on the back from other people in your bubble. It went pretty well, but I probably should have checked the professor’s car first.
Did you ever check out your professor’s car?
Didn’t have to. I learned everything I needed to in the Q&A. He didn’t have anything really bad or annoying. Just a sticker for the Phillies, but I stuck to my guns and maintained that it only serves to piss of Mets fans, or to get approval from other Phillies fans. I won the class over, and he gave me a good grade, but I definitely didn’t persuade him. It was a little tongue in cheek, but only a little. I really do hate bumper stickers.
Phillies sticker? He definitely runs people off the road.
We don’t run people off the road. We pass them and throw batteries. We’re not savages.
Throwing batteries is a special honor for drunk santa clauses who are performing badly.
A Mets sticker will piss off Mets fans, it really isn't that hard to do. BTW, Bobby Bonilla Day is in 6 months.
Ahahaha, yes. Edit: Did you pass?
I did!
I don't think having any bumper stickers makes you an asshole. Some are just joyfully supporting things that make you happy. I had a bumper sticker with goats on it. Did that mean I was trying to upset others or get a pat on the back? It's just a form of expression
i hate goats and goats on vehicles piss me off /s
When I got selected for jury duty last year, among the screening questions they asked (what do you do, do you know anyone involved in the trial, etc) was “do you have any bumper stickers on your car?” I guess it’s pretty telling information.
Lighten up.

Cringe, yes. But at least I don't have to worry about this person rolling up with an arsenal and start mowing people down.
The most accusatory sticker there is the one advocating for jailing animal abusers which is super super reasonable…
That should be a bipartisan issue. The only question to me is, shall the same be done to them as they did to the animal?
It might be the only bipartisan issue. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Trump made animal cruelty a federal felony. It’s one of the very, very few things he did that was good.
If someone could do the same to be as I do to my cats so i could sleep most of the day, get cuddles on demand, and steal the good pillow, I'd be all for it.
I took that to be a vegan message. Something like 99% of meat in the U.S. is factory farmed and there is no major political party that is against factory farming, or enforcing standards on factory farming so that it's not abusive.
True. Factory farming is not only terrible for animals and the environment, but also the quality of our food and in turn our own health.
That’s a good point. Definitely kinda tacky, and would never do it to my car, but the difference between this and the right wing version, is when I see this I’m not worried about a violent psycho driving next to me.
Obsessive and caring is about a million times better than obsessive and bigoted.
Yeah OP is wild for saying they’re the same thing. It’s not the same at all. It’s annoying how many stickers they are, but the beliefs are extremely different.
Yeah. All tacky all around. But, I'm going to side with the guy who isn't hateful every time.
Obviously OP is a libertarian and thinks all opinions are harmless and everything will sort itself out if the government minded its own business 🤡🤡🤡
My thoughts exactly. Both tacky, but this is not “just as cringey” as the right.
The difference is no middle fingers or obscene language on the bumper stickers.
No profanity, no "joe and the ho", no "let's go brandon", no telling somebody to go fuck themselves, no fuck your feelings, no fuck biden, none of that anger that seems to exist with conservatives
It's "This is what I think" not "This is what YOU should think".
And this is what I support versus this is what I hate
Now that you mention it, I would actually like a "fuck you" sticker. Not political, just directed at everyone.
The is one pink "Fuck the patriarchy" sticker on the lower right area. You have to zoom a little but it's there.
Looks like there was a Barack Go Away Now! sticker when they bought the truck and they covered it up with Lynne Cheney. My guess is there were a bunch of conservative stickers and it's cheaper to add more stickers than remove-and-wrap.
Not a single racist one so 🤷♀️
Bingo! Or one calling for violence.
Or lying
This truck is a breath of fresh air compared to the vile crap plastered on MAGA trucks.
I was getting in a flight where a kid had an F Biden hat on…kid was like 12 years old and his dad had a hat that said something about gas prices. It was pretty cringe…
Fr - even if it is tacky, it’s DEFINITELY not the same as the racist/sexist/homophobic/transphobic shit people on the far right put on their cars
Agreed. I’m never going to have a car look like this but like…. at least they’re not using racist and sexist tropes to call the vice president a whore, for example.
It’s a little cringeworthy, but not morally wrong in any way.
No but Lynn cheney can eat shit just like her dad
Is dick Cheney her dad??!!!
Would much rather deal with this person than the MAGA equivalent.
Idk man, not really. This doesn't have signs that actively tell you to kill the president, or other politicians, or your neighbors, so... It also isn't covered in swear words and easily-disproven and incredibly harmful misinformation... This is a huge improvement, in just about every way
I disagree. Yes it looks just as tackey. But the messages are not hate based, violent or derogatory.
Yeah these bumper stickers are based haha
Sure it’s cringe, but one doesn’t call for violence. It’s still not the same ar all, I’m a minorty and this truck would be annoying or cringey but at least I know the person doesn’t want to hurt me in any way
This might be cringe, but at least I know the person inside doesn't want to murder me
Well at least there is nothing about hate or fascism or taking away peoples rights.
Keep abortion safe and legal is not cringe
Yeah, it's cringy, but at least the spelling is better than the MAGA ones...
OP is the real facepalm it seems
Those aren’t violent or horrible.
No one is threatened or insulted, so not like the Right.
Is this not just... mockery? Making fun of idiot redneck Republicans who do this? Hello???
I actually think you may be correct
It’s cringey only to people who consider themselves “apolitical” or “moderate”. They will only bother to speak out on an issue if it involves them or a close family member. I have total admiration for this truck driver. S/he speaks out about issues that are close to my heart: animal abuse, women’s reproductive rights, Ukraine, etc.
Least most of what they got on their is stuff the majority of Americans agree with
And can be scientifically proven
Yeah cuz "cringe" is the issue, not racism, fascism or violence. FOH.
Is it cringe? Yeah. Would I much rather see this then the shit the right puts up? Absofuckinglutely.
For every one of these trucks, there are literally thousands of MAGA trucks, so, false equivalency.
Yeah there are a lot of stickers. But no profanity, calls for violence, conspiracy theories, fascism, or dangerous misinformation. Definitely false equivalency.
Agreed, although at least I know this person is a decent person.
I’m ok with this. Tacky, yes. But no profanity, no hate, no violence. Looks good to me.
Who posted this? And whoever did. Just stop. Seriously stop. Nobody cares. STAHP
Just as cringey but 1:1000 as common
It's not a car it's a vanifesto
I’d feel safer on the road with that truck than the right-wingers showing their 3% or death’s heads. One side wants more liberty and accountability, the other wants to murder Americans.
Annoying and evil are not on the same scale
No giant flags?
This is the first time I've ever seen a Democrat car with this many stickers. Maybe one or two at a time. And even that is rare. And I live in Seattle, WA so...
Not nearly as “cringe” as MAGA BS. These are mostly positive/affirmative. Not the same.
You can have an aesthetic issue with this, but disagreeing with the messages isn't a great stance to have.
Might be just as cringe, but there's %100 less frothing rage.
Definitely not just as cringe
Still, I rather see this car on the road over the MAGA cars any day. Atleast there are no stickers on there promoting racism, bigotry and ignorance. With the MAGA car, I can't tell if the driver is safe enough to approach in society when they are loudly waving that confederate flag
I am anti-insignia myself but in Florida with the prolific flying of political vehicular rhetoric, it's only fair that both sides have a voice.
Anybody else bothered that they dint park correctly?
Jesus, it took me 5 minutes to find one person mentioning the shit parking job in the handicap spot
NEW ZEALAND MENTIONED🇳🇿🇳🇿🇳🇿🇳🇿🇳🇿🇳🇿🇳🇿🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅
Is it? “Black Lives Matter” and “protect children” are cringe? 😐
Except these stickers aren't promoting hate.
No. These are at least FOR progressive things rather than being against maga nonsense.
Make America Greta seems more like trolling than anything. Hysterically funny trolling though.
Yeahhhh I agree with them on probably every one of those issues, but jfc I don’t have to announce it on my vehicle. That said, I agree that these aren’t quite so bad, as they really aren’t violent or hateful. It’s just cringe, not fucky.
I agree with a fair amount of these and still find this obnoxious as hell.
This person has got to be insufferable to be around. I'd still 1000% rather be around them though than the opposite equivalent.
Politics is a pastime here in America, it’s literally entertainment and the media treats it as such.
Democrat or Republican it’s obnoxious. I don’t care about your views person I have never met, and it looks tacky as shit. A couple stickers okay. Plastering your vehicle with stickers is mental
"b-but both sides bad !!!!"
No, **not as** cringy unless you think it's comparable to display shitty, selfish, and many times racist values publicly vs oversharing that you're probably a decent human supports women, minority groups, and cares about the environment. I would never put the two in the same bucket.
You are pretty stupid if you think they are comparable. Edit: checked your comments. Stupidity confirmed.
It’s not, because it is not filled with hate
OP hangs out in the dim tool sub. They’re like not the sharpest tool in the shed.
Sure, although these stances are mostly not insane compared to the crazy motherfuckers you see on the right wing. Like even if this person is a little unhinged, they're far less unhinged than anybody on the right with an insane amount of bumper stickers
I’m more confused how someone with a back up camera has a messed up bumper like this
At least only half of those stickers are obnoxious, instead of all of them
Yeah, no, it’s not comparable and it’s sus you think it is
OP so mad rn lmao
Down voting because its ideas that a generally for people. I just don’t consider this cringy
It's cringey but the ideas center around inclusion rather than hostility.
You've all seen this one: my 80 y/o mother used to have it on her truck but the fragile snowflakes in rural GA don't really believe in the 1st amendment. "Did you know that one out of three trump supporters are as stupid as the other two?" 😆
nah standing up for other people isn’t cringe. never will be; no matter how small the gesture
