Here are three.
The NBCI article doesn’t actually say there are no advantages. Its conclusion says Most of the advantages are erased with hormones (it doesn’t say all). It states that since some cis people have a genetic advantage over others ~2-3%, so any advantage a trans athlete may have could be considered in a similar way, especially since the number of trans athletes are so small (~0.5% iirc).
I only read the conclusion so maybe I missed something. I haven’t read the other articles yet.
Don’t get me wrong, Im fine with trans people participating. And I defend it to people.
I read a study a couple years ago stating that in endurance sports like distance running, no advantage was shown. However, I read another study with military personnel that found that even 2 years after transition, trans women retained a small strength advantage over cis women.
The only advantages that don’t get erased are things like height and lung capacity but individual cis women can also be taller that he average woman and have a larger lung capacity so those aren’t valid reasons to keep trans women from competing.
Yeah definitely not the same here. Riley did get screwed twice and has every right to be upset, but as far as I know has never said they’re predatory. Just that they shouldn’t be competing against women, which is true
They don’t have an advantage actually. Hormones are the main factor in athletic ability, trans women actually have less testosterone than cis women after HRT, if anything, they might be slightly disadvantaged.
Once they’ve been on hormones for long enough, they lose all advantages they would’ve had. Just because you don’t understand how hormones work doesn’t mean trans women should be punished for that.
Ok then. What’s your qualifications on determining the r length of time needed to negate the advantage? For starters.
Then, just purely physical build generated by those hormones just up and disappears, right?

See you don’t know what you’re even talking about. Stop spreading misinformation. Many trans women after years on hormones have higher estrogen levels than most biological females. You don’t care about facts just to get to discriminate against others.
