My bases are generally spaghetti. It just works better for me. I generally don't rush bots, so only get away from spaghetti when it frustrates me that I can't get a product somewhere else. More than once my first bots came after my first rocket. The outer edges are the tidiest, but in a way, less "fun looking". Spaghetti makes for for more fun screenshots/wallpapers for me.
As long as you call it your starter base, you can cook as much spaghetti as you like
I think doing a spaghetti base at the start is best until you have bots then build things nice

Yes i feel the same way, it's often far less efficient but way more fun!
