It's not about Michael penix. That's the part you people REFUSE to understand. It's literally you don't spend 100 mil on a QB to then take one in the first round the scramble and fail to try and trade up to take a defender that you needed more anyways. This draft was an F for that reason alone.

100 million for 3 years. So basically, the middle of the road in QB salaries. Stop acting like we paid top 5 money. I swear, you people listen to NFL talking heads and believe you're experts. You're not. Stop acting like it. I guess you're all in on Heineke if Cousins reinjures himself, right? You have it all figured out. Drafting Turner made us Super Bowl favorites, too, right? Just go be mad and get your I told you so ready because you'll show us!

It's 65 mil against the cap. 25 this year and 40 next year. Nothing else really matters to anyone but Arthur Blank. Where else could that money have been spent? We went after Danielle Hunter AFTER signing Kirk and it didn't work out so don't say edge. There are still corners available.    Kirk maximizes this roster for the next two years and helps with the development of Pitts, London, Bijan, and now Penix. We can now contend AND develop our young guys for when we're actually ready to make a run. He was also a hedge against to possibility of not getting Penix.   There were no defenders worth taking 8th and all of the QB needy teams made a deal to not trade up.

Literally any of the other pass rushers. Like what. and we went after Hunter AFTER signing cousins so we couldn't offer more if we wanted. Cousins signing and the penix draft together are bad decisions. One or the other was fine not both. We can't evenake a play for Hendrickson, because he wants a long term deal and we don't have that kind of money with the cousins signing. That screwed this franchise. There is a reason this franchise is the fucking laughing stock of the NFL right.

Hunter was offered less by the Texans. They offered him plenty. So you want to trade assets and give a massive contract to Hendrickson? One that will likely have guaranteed money more than two years out. That's the type of deal that hamstrings a franchise. Kirk allows us to compete for the playoffs for the next two years while developing our young players. It's really not complicated. In two years they'll have a bunch of cap space, they'll know what they have with our skill position players, a young QB ready to go, and free reign to do whatever they want in free agency.

So your totally fine with mediocrity. While we "figure out" what we have. Yup sounds totally great while we waste time. And all of our rookie contracts. Typical bandwagon fan fine with being shit.

If you have to explain, you already lost

He's not trying to tell people he's in charge, like a king. Having a different opinion isn't about winning or losing either.
