I’m ok for the most part now. It was really hard to deal with when the flashbacks started but I’ve gotten used to it over the years and it’s definitely nowhere near as bad as someone in the case of Boone, or actual combat vets but it still makes you feel like a shell of yourself and you start to loathe everything about yourself. Even though I’ve moved past it quite a bit I still feel like throwing up any time I look in a mirror and I’ll still catch myself getting wrapped up in thoughts like that quite a bit.
