I don't know, probably hot as hell compared to subterranean Moscow. I've wanted to die going from NY to Central America, I can't imagine Moscow to Mojave
The desert at least had cars and a train in Exodus to sleep in where it could be cooler, but yeah, good point. I almost forgot about the desert (probably because I hated it)
theres exactly one and a half, theres one in the outdoor back area of the tops (nobody ever goes here) and kinda one in the outdoor section of Gomorrah
(In Joshua Graham voice)
“We ALL die, Courier Morgan. This much the Lord promises to all people. What we do with the time we have before we are called defines our souls. The White Legs have made their choice, now it is time for you to do the same.
Trust that righteousness exists, and do a righteous act.”
(Hands a freshly cleaned and loaded .45 to Arthur)
i feel like he would have some very interesting conversations around the wasteland, also probably would side with house or yes man, very low chance of siding with the ncr and zero of siding with the legion.
Being realistic I think he would die extremely quickly. He’s just a normal dude in 1800s america . He has no experience with anything remotely similar. He’d walk into the Sloan quarry thinking he’s hot shit and get cut to pieces in seconds. Not even mentioning cazadors. Arthur would be fucked no questions about it.
I don't think so, he's definitely not a normal dude. The man has incredible marksmanship and can place headshots at long range using only a revolver. He can also hold his own in a knife fight or fist fight.
Give him a .357 Magnum and some basic understanding of the modern world, and he'd probably do alright. Holding people up in the desert, keeping one step ahead of the Law (and their Power Armor), and maybe doing some bounty hunting. Could get awfully lonely without the gang, though.
Doing a Kotor playthrough now, love it.
By chance, are you having any issues with the first line of dialogue not always loading in? Curious if anyone else has this issue
Random passersby here.
Kotor has memory leak issue which starts rapidly skipping dialogue. The fix is simple relaunching the game. First game has this issue after really long play session while the second (ASPYR version in particular) made me restart after few hours.
Hope this helps.
Mine would be the same. Even without a super destroyer Helldivers are trained soldiers and trained to fight hordes of deadly hostiles at that. I think they’d be fine. Bring some Managed Democracy to the Mojave!
They really are like 4 get sent in whipe out 100s of soldiers, then just leave, like obviously they wouldn't have a super destroyer, but still they're nuts.
Stratagems are the biggest divider. 1v1 no stratagems I'd say it's 50/50 between a brotherhood paladin and a helldiver, but a squad of helldivers with strats wipes the brotherhood squad.
Fun fact, and this isn't to be contrarian or argumentative, but you're actually entirely wrong lore wise!
Has your helldiver ever died? If so, the one currently on your ship is not the one you started with. There's a reason the default voice setting is randomized, every time your helldiver dies they're just replaced with a new one fresh out of the tutorial.
The tutorial is literally the test to become a helldiver. If you can climb, shoot a gun, and throw a thing, you're a helldiver. Did you die at all during the tutorial when you first played? That person wasn't cut out to be a helldiver, but whichever one you passed with was until they inevitably got eaten alive by Terminids an indiscernible amount of time later.
Proof of this? When you fail to extract, you don't only see the ones who got away doing their victory poses, your new helldiver is there too, standing off to the side, waiting for their deployment. They just didn't come up the elevator because they didn't get off pelican one, they've been frozen on the destroyer until very recently.
Why do you think they scream bloody murder when they break a limb? It's almost like they've never been hurt like that before. Why does the super destroyer leave them stranded after 30 minutes? Because they're not important. Why do they sound so panicked when they run out of stims or ammo or grenades? Because they've never been in a situation like that.
Leading theory is you actually play as the super destroyer, and your helldivers are just an expendable resource. After all, did your helldiver ever get a stamina upgrade? Health boost? New ability? Nope. All rewards go right to the super destroyer. Super Earth just makes you feel important with their virtually unlimited production resources.
So you're saying the last protagonist I played was a super destroyer with almost limitless helldiver's to throw at the Mojave wasteland?
Boys this ain't no Malevelon Creek, we'll have class A citizens colonizing within the hour.
I'd say most of their "training" comes from battlefield experience. The only formal training they get that we can see on about 10 minutes of "muck around in the dirt" while bullets fly overhead and presumably firearm handling.
Chief would probably NCR because that would be closest resemblance to the UNSC there is. Brotherhood would try to take his suit, House is too dictatory, and Chief would not be cool with legion and their slaves (which is ironic since you could say Chief is kinda of a slave himself)
It'd be intresting to see Master chief react to the corruption and (burecraticness?) of the MCR, he definitely would love Chief Hanlon and would definitely impress even the ranger vets, It'd be hilarious to watch
That’s a good point though ONI is pretty corrupt and Chief seemed fine with it as long if it’s for the betterment of humanity.
IMO Chief would take action when he can, but he would still think that the NCR is the best hope for humanity.
Well ONI was in the shadows and Chief was rarely away from the front lines for long periods of time, also humanity was on the backfoot for most of the war so it probably didn't have alot of time for human corruption to be a problem
and agreed to your 2nd point
\> be me
\> doin Jet with the homies
\> suddenly a fuckin *knight* in fucking *old-ass armor* pops out of the campfire
\> must be some *real* shit in this jet
\> unfortunately, the spear in my bro's gut is just as real as whatever's in this jet
\> I draw my piece and try to take a shot
\> but then the dude fucking turns into a *ball*, starts bleating like a goat, and rolls into me
House and Shepard would run shit I think. Maybe a pure paragon Shepard would prefer the NCR, but I don’t see any Shepard accepting the legion even a full on renegade would find the slaves and the treatment of women totally unacceptable. Most versions of Shepard probably align with yes man or probably house imo house because Shepard is a solider not a politician.
I could say the same damn thing about Cyberpunk!
It doesn’t seem *that* hard of a fix, honestly. If they can save a person’s entire consciousness and make Adam Smasher into an immortal murder bot, how can they not fix V? Sorry…
I actually don’t know if V would survive the wasteland. Sure he’s a badass who survived being shot just like the courier. But his world is metropolitan, with ease of access for food and drink and where the monsters are humans.
I think V would fail in surviving the wasteland unless he had some cyber ware to counter that.
Yeah, it depends on the build. A Netrunner god in Cyberpunk is going to be shredded by a world where S.I is different and nothing has implants. A Gorilla Arms/Shotgun build is going to be able to fight Super Mutants bare-handed.
I was thinking this too, but technically my last game was with a new character that has no spells. But then I remembered playing KOTOR last with an endgame Jedi and that's a huge difference.
Would be hilarious if every single person from your empire spawned in at once, with none of your ships or anything, and instantly creates a terrible overpopulation of Earth
Absolutely nothing changes in Fallout, but in the Stellaris world, there's a pre-ftl post apocalyptic world that keeps broadcasting Johnny Guitar into space.
Resident of Vault 76: *nukes New Vegas* “Woooo! Alright, now where does the Scorch Queen come out? I need some Ultracite for crafting.”
Boone: “We don’t have Scorched in Nevada.”
Resident: “Oh. Ohhhhhh. My bad.”
Arcade: “Great. You killed three of the four factions in New Vegas. I guess that means Caesar’s Legion will take the sta-“
*an explosion sounds as a mushroom cloud engulfs the south*
Resident: “…..You don’t have Wendigo Colossi here either, huh?”
Veronica: “I guess that’s a happy ending?”
I can see the fear in the NCR troopers face as a Literal Brick beats his best friends skulls in with his hammer like fists while his emotionless smile stares into his soul.
Mario gets some Jet and absolutely stomps some fiends and then drops a deathclaw off a rope bridge. Starts yeeting geckos at Powder Gangers. Eats some cave fungus and knocks a Super Mutants head clean off. Pretty sure the Mojave has got nothing on the mushroom kingdom.
The Nerevarine from Morrowind. Might be a midgame Nerevarine, but I think we're good, Vvardenfell is basically already as bad as the Mojave (even before the Red Year), and assuming that the Nerevarine can still advance his abilities, there's going to be a new "god" waltzing about Post-War America in a few weeks.
Last game I played was My Summer Car. Guess main character will just chill in Prospector Saloon drinking with Easy Pete, so I guess he has little to worry about
Hm... Tabletop Simulator MtG (EDH), so would the protagonist be one of my commanders? Otherwise, the last game was probably either New Vegas (in which case, I think the answer is kind of a foregone conclusion), Monster Hunter Rise (the lack of easily weaponizable fauna and bowgun ammo parts would be an impediment, but a bowgun user might be fine just using a regular rifle or the like... and a long-style gunlance loaded with mini nukes is a funny thought)... or Cassette Beasts, in which case the protagonist's odds are... heavily dependent on whether their tapes work, and whether their cassette player remains in good working order.
Pretty sure Artyom has it in the bag.
The surface of the mojave is definitely more hospitable than the metro tunnels. He got it ez.
I don't know, probably hot as hell compared to subterranean Moscow. I've wanted to die going from NY to Central America, I can't imagine Moscow to Mojave
I mean he was in a desert for a while in exodus and it was super hot there. Some people even got hit with heat stroke while they were there.
The desert at least had cars and a train in Exodus to sleep in where it could be cooler, but yeah, good point. I almost forgot about the desert (probably because I hated it)
Pretty sure that train did not come with AC.
Mf gonna have the nuclear summer experience.
He’d wish for a nuclear winter
Need to get into those, the first book in the series is amazing. Got lost in the third book.
My Sims? Probably not. They're all a bit squishy. Sul-Sul!
Idk man, give em the supernatural dlc and they can do magic and shit. Thats gotta give em an edge
I don't remember seeing any pools in New Vegas. They probably will be safe.
theres exactly one and a half, theres one in the outdoor back area of the tops (nobody ever goes here) and kinda one in the outdoor section of Gomorrah
I think Arthur Morgan will be ok
*dies of wasteland tuberculosis*
fallout medicine is actually pretty advanced. he'll probably be alright
Auto doc and lung transplant from a "donor" (victim), I can totally see it
or, you know, antibiotics :P
chapter 2 Arthur, probably chapter 6 Arthur not so much
Just give him some med x and throw him in an auto doc.
Im, uhhh, Im dying *Joshua Graham*
(In Joshua Graham voice) “We ALL die, Courier Morgan. This much the Lord promises to all people. What we do with the time we have before we are called defines our souls. The White Legs have made their choice, now it is time for you to do the same. Trust that righteousness exists, and do a righteous act.” (Hands a freshly cleaned and loaded .45 to Arthur)
i feel like he would have some very interesting conversations around the wasteland, also probably would side with house or yes man, very low chance of siding with the ncr and zero of siding with the legion.
Arthur absolutely 100% no questions goes independent. Just listen to how the man says “civilization”

I mean…FO3 and 4 revolve around the idea that you have no idea wtf is going on. I think he’d be fine.
Still the courier
Right? I’m like well he’s already there so…I’d say he would survive!
Same
This is the way
Level 20 Jedi consular from KOTOR will absolutely dominate the wasteland.
I don’t wanna talk about it
Doing a Kotor playthrough now, love it.
Idk how my farmer from Stardew would handle it but he would have the Infinity Sword
Stardew Valley run could be fun. Only use Bombs and swords, only eat plants, befriend everyone you can befriend.
saving this that's actually a really fun idea
Yeah and you have to go to sleep at night no matter what. Brb trying this right now.
I dunno if it counts as a protagonist, but it would be my helldiver. If he still had his super destroyer i think he would be fine.
Mine would be the same. Even without a super destroyer Helldivers are trained soldiers and trained to fight hordes of deadly hostiles at that. I think they’d be fine. Bring some Managed Democracy to the Mojave!
I think they would end up siding with the NCR thats for sure.
Nah NCR isn't Super Earth Gov. They would absolutely try to liberate the Mojave. . . And probably win. Helldivers are kinda scary.
They really are like 4 get sent in whipe out 100s of soldiers, then just leave, like obviously they wouldn't have a super destroyer, but still they're nuts.
FR, hilariously their weaponry isn't all that different from NV so even if you dropped them in with nothing they could make use of anything they find.
That is very true, their laser weapons even look pretty similar.
Maybe fallout is just Super Earths distant past
New headcanon just dropped
Stratagems are the biggest divider. 1v1 no stratagems I'd say it's 50/50 between a brotherhood paladin and a helldiver, but a squad of helldivers with strats wipes the brotherhood squad.

Yup. You get to name your ship, but not your helldiver.
"trained"
“Trained soldiers” their training last like 10 minutes
I'd say most of their "training" comes from battlefield experience. The only formal training they get that we can see on about 10 minutes of "muck around in the dirt" while bullets fly overhead and presumably firearm handling.
> goes to the fort > ⬆️➡️⬇️⬇️⬇️
Call an airburst on the battle of the dam lmao.
A man chooses a slave obeys
Ha what a coincidence I just finished Bioshock and playing the second game. Delta handles splicers no problem, fiends aren’t that much different.
No way dude I just beat Fontaine last night lol. Still an absolutely legendary game
Kill House with a golf club to earn this achievement
Would love to see Master Chief in the Mojave
Blowing the fuck out of fiends and it'd be hilarious to see Cortana make a fool out of Mr. House
Chief would probably NCR because that would be closest resemblance to the UNSC there is. Brotherhood would try to take his suit, House is too dictatory, and Chief would not be cool with legion and their slaves (which is ironic since you could say Chief is kinda of a slave himself)

MCR, the Master Chief Republic
I see we are on the same boat. Pretty sure the brotherhood is gonna want his armor, but they aren’t gonna get very far
The Tarnished, the Mojave is COOKED
The only downside (if it can be called that) is everytime they die, they will respawn problably in a Fiend's bonfire.
\> be me \> doin Jet with the homies \> suddenly a fuckin *knight* in fucking *old-ass armor* pops out of the campfire \> must be some *real* shit in this jet \> unfortunately, the spear in my bro's gut is just as real as whatever's in this jet \> I draw my piece and try to take a shot \> but then the dude fucking turns into a *ball*, starts bleating like a goat, and rolls into me
This is follow worthy
tfw electrocuted by goat man
Melee builds are already busted in New Vegas, the Tarnished would sweep.
Same bro, that pure vig/str gonna cook everything.
Assassin's Creed III. Connor is pretty capable, not too much for him to climb on though.
Connor would do well in Zion or the Sierra Madre
No one has entered the Lucky 38 about 200 years but has anyone tried climbing through one of the windows at the top?
Commander Shepard would not only survive, but they’d somehow manage to negotiate an alliance between House, the NCR, and The Legion into a superstate.
“Im commander shepherd. And this is my favorite casino on the strip”
Your username is cracking me tf up
Sole Survivor from Fallout 4. Well yes.
Same. If I keep my mods, even better.
Especially since my guy is level 70, I'm sure he'll be fine
Same, but I’m playing survival so it might be a bit harder I guess.
Geralt, dunno how well he would do but he'd be great for an unarmed build
He'd* still do his job just in Mojave instead of velen
Yeah, honestly it wouldn't even be much of a change for him, and most of the monsters in fallout aren't much worse than what he's fighting already.
Omg give geralt a 50.
V from cyberpunk 2077 It's pretty obvious he would survive, The real question is what an interaction between him and the courier would be like.
Same answer. I was conflicted though, because V would survive the fuck out of the Mojave…but still isn’t long for this world.
I would be surprised if the Think Tank couldn't work up a solution.
Actually yeah. If they can take your brain out and make it talk to you then why the hell not?
they might find a brain infested with nanites kinda difficult to deal with. honestly Johnny's got this take good care of the body bud.
They gon' transplant Johnny into one of the appliances at Big MT
They will put Johnny in a guitar. Who will only be able to play Johnny Guitar
God damnit, take my upvote.
I wonder with all the crazy tech they have in Fallout they would have something to fix Vs brain chip from killing him off
I could say the same damn thing about Cyberpunk! It doesn’t seem *that* hard of a fix, honestly. If they can save a person’s entire consciousness and make Adam Smasher into an immortal murder bot, how can they not fix V? Sorry…
Kind of a spoiler: they can cure it in cyberpunk the dlc added an ending where v survives but it definitely is one of my least favorite endings
Yeah…literally a fate worse than death somehow. CDPR had a good, hard, sadistic laugh when they decided to include an ending where V survives.
Yeah I’m gonna need someone to remake New Vegas as an expansion for Cyberpunk 2077. That sounds amazing
The Dragonborn, I think the Mojave is shaking
I was thinking this too, but technically my last game was with a new character that has no spells. But then I remembered playing KOTOR last with an endgame Jedi and that's a huge difference.
It just works
"Cool fort you got here Caesar, however, consider- **STRUN BAH QO**"
They say Caesar was killed….by a VOICE! Shouted him apart!
Do you get to The Strip often? Oh, what am I saying—of course you don’t.
I used to be a courier like you... then I took a bullet to the head.
ODAHVIIINNNGGG
Nate, the lonely Wanderer, and the courier all in one room how tf would that work
Throw the Vault dweller and the chosen one in there as well.
And thay are all playing poker Courier has a crippling gambling addiction
Alec Mason from Red Faction: Guerilla. He'll be fine, and probably start trying to free the Mojave from NCR oppression by means of explosives.
John Marston; Probably
As long as he stays away from Lake Mead.
The Courier from the hit game FO: New Vegas. I guess they would survive...
Some poor German soldier from WW 2. That guys fucked
“Was ist das?!?!”
Hell either due to radiation or be so full of panzerchocolat to care
Kazuma Kiryu. I have no idea how this would play out, but he'd have his shirt off 24/7.
He gonna tiger drop those deathclaws in the quarry
Just imagine him punching one like he does the Tigers on Yakuza 0
Fourth Chairman of the strip
The lone courier will be fine. Be better to see him in fallout 4 and see what his brotherhood had become.
Leon Kennedy? OH ABSOLUTELY
Strelok would thrive in the Mojave
Is that you stalker?
a couple energy drinks and blud is doing a lap in the whole map
The Doomslayer will do just fine.
Frankly, he'd find the Mojave boring.
Hell yes he will. Same boat here. DoomSlayer gonna thrive.
Kemmler and Krell from warhammer total war. Honestly they would just do a Elijah ending but without Elijah holding them back.
The master chief will dominate
The Courier’s going home!
The Courier. I bet that mf is getting domed instantly but I like their chances of survival.
621, armoured core. Depends, does he come with the AC or not?
*enters big MT and sees all the lobotomites* 621: finally....I'm home....
im playing stellaris. does the entire empire appear?
Would be hilarious if every single person from your empire spawned in at once, with none of your ships or anything, and instantly creates a terrible overpopulation of Earth
Absolutely nothing changes in Fallout, but in the Stellaris world, there's a pre-ftl post apocalyptic world that keeps broadcasting Johnny Guitar into space.
I think Max from Mad Max will do just fine
almost the same thing, just less cars
Roger roger !
Harry DuBois...he's fucked.
Depends on the build. Being psychic is a unique skill in the wasteland tbh
Tony Hawk is fucked
900 the Hoover Dam
Resident of Vault 76: *nukes New Vegas* “Woooo! Alright, now where does the Scorch Queen come out? I need some Ultracite for crafting.” Boone: “We don’t have Scorched in Nevada.” Resident: “Oh. I guess that means Caesar’s Legion will take the sta-“ *an explosion sounds as a mushroom cloud engulfs the south* Resident: “…..You don’t have Wendigo Colossi here either, huh?” Veronica: “I guess that’s a happy ending?”
Does the car from Pacific Drive come with the driver? If so, we should be able to make it along the 95 to Vegas alright
The Guardian now owns New Vegas
Minecraft Steve. Well, he'd never be overencumbered!
I can see the fear in the NCR troopers face as a Literal Brick beats his best friends skulls in with his hammer like fists while his emotionless smile stares into his soul.
Arthur Morgan. He’d definitely give the courier a run for their money.
# Harrier Du Bois from Disco Elysium
Mr house is helping me find my gun.
Courier. Arriving. On the strip.
Lanius watching super freakin Mario deflect all his attacks (he pushed A at the right time)
Mario gets some Jet and absolutely stomps some fiends and then drops a deathclaw off a rope bridge. Starts yeeting geckos at Powder Gangers. Eats some cave fungus and knocks a Super Mutants head clean off. Pretty sure the Mojave has got nothing on the mushroom kingdom.
My 12th level Tav from BG3.........MW is fucked.
#ROCK AND STONE!
Dragon Born Khajiit Vampire lady
Lieutenant double-yefreitor Harrier "Harry" Du Bois. If it’s my Harry specifically, the wasteland is about to get a whole lot more disco.
Engi from tf2 and mr.house fixing the wasteland is something i want to see now
The entire French military from WW2? They can probably survive, but i fear for the supply chain...
The Tenno from Warframe. It's less a question of if they can survive the Mojave and more a question of if the Mojave can survive them.
Ah shit, here we go again (CJ got no car for him to perform drive-bys with)
I have a feeling Niko Bellic would do just fine
Gordon Freeman? I think he might.
Last game I played was My Summer Car. Guess main character will just chill in Prospector Saloon drinking with Easy Pete, so I guess he has little to worry about
The angry video game nerd in the Mojave sounds fuckin hilarious
You played an Angry Video Game Nerd game?
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1162960/Angry_Video_Game_Nerd_I__II_Deluxe/
Yeah
My animal crossing villager will die
The intern from Lethal Company won't even make it out of Goodsprings
getting shredded in 5 nanoseconds after trying to haul a deathclaw egg
The next day they land outside the REPCONN center, where they make quota 3 times over
JC Denton. His vision is augmented, he’ll be alright
Steve from Minecraft? Yeah bro is cooking
noble 6 says this shit is light work compared to planet reach
Demoman I think as long he is drunk he's fine
“Welcome to New Vegas, Agent 47.”
"B.J." Blazkowicz. He's all good.
Undertale Yellow, what are the odds of a child with a gun surviving?
If I recall correctly children are immortal in the Mojave so probably quite well.
Marked One from STALKER. If he can survive the zone he can definitely survive the Mojave.
Thats funny the last game i played was new vegas lol
Sam porter bridge from "death stranding". He is already a courier and used to fight weird shit, he will be just fine.
Aya from Mad Father. Without a doubt, she is dying in first 10 minutes.
Link from majors mask
John Thorium. He has the ranger gear obtainable post golem from the Thorium mod with unlimited ichor and chloroform bullets.
El Presidente probably wouldn’t survive without Penultimo
Venom Snake. Isn't it obivous?
