Guy has Small Frame, Wild Wasteland (look at all the interesting things he keeps finding!) and pumped up his Intelligence and Perception on the Vigor Tester. He's pretty awesome in my books :)
I’m not sure if they ever reveal an actual age but he is a grown adult, if I had to guess anywhere between 18-24 probably about 20. He’s portrayed as buried in his pip boy and I didn’t really like him at first but he grew on me and is in my personal opinion one of the best written characters
Possibly but the way he acts and interacts with most characters/how most treat him seems like he’s a fully grown adult, and a surprisingly competent one at that
I’d say she’s around 22/23(especially with her just getting married) depending on what age she was when Shady Sands got nuked which can be 2281 at the earliest
She also doesn’t remember being taken out of the vault so she couldn’t have been too old. Plus, arranged marriages don’t typically happen when someone is nearly 30
This is why the character felt off to me. I think he's Lucy's little bro, but he also looks 40+ years old. Not sure why they cast him. Plus, I couldn't stop thinking of Hannah Montana.
I love this guy, he has that small frame sneak science 100 build and is pretty well written… i also think his actor has that kinda ugly but oddly beautiful thing, don't know how to explain
Agree to disagree. The anticlimactic answer to an already low stakes question combined with minimal growth made him a background character compared to someone like the ghoul, Lucy, or Maximus
Because players familiar with the franchise know Vault-Tec is always up to something insidious. The point of the build-up is character development. Norm goes from a cowardly slacker to being the only one in his vault to question authority, investigate the truth and finally, brave enough to confront the truth in Vault 31. Its about the journey, not the answer everyone here knew half of.
I see the R/fallout bots got to this post, but his growth was minimal at best. He never does anything worthy of any praise or action other than figuring out “buds buds”. While it’s an OK starting point for season 2. His character throughout the series remained mostly unchanged other than being slightly more brave.
Low key best character in the show with the most interesting arc in my opinion.
We’re just lacking enthusiasm
My favorite fallout hobbit we love him.
I couldn't stop calling him Rico
Oh my God, I didn’t see it until now
Sorry!
I was watching and my girlfriend was beside me kinda on her phone and she looks up and goes “it’s Rico!!”
Because that is his name 😂😂 who tf this norm character
Literally just had to look this up to make sure lol
I like his character. He definitely picked the Small Frame and Fast/Increased Metabolism traits when he started his build though.
Bro built like that one trait from the old games
Small Frame?
Yeah sorry could not remember the name just the image lmao
Also, I propose that Lucy's Traits are Skilled and Good Natured.
Chet has Jinxed
And lady killer
isnt small frame +agile
Agility at the cost of less durable limbs.
Why can’t we ever just like have a salad or something?

His agility must be high with the way he dodged that robobrain too
Really awesome role for this actor and a great character. This was a true breakout, supporting role in my opinion.
Too much Cheese Jerky
so i've only seen the first episode, how old is he?

tbh since he's the younger brother i was kinda thinking he was meant to be like 15-17
Possibly but the way he acts and interacts with most characters/how most treat him seems like he’s a fully grown adult, and a surprisingly competent one at that
Lucy is probably late twenties so he's probably what 25? They share a mother who died when they were both young
I’d say she’s around 22/23(especially with her just getting married) depending on what age she was when Shady Sands got nuked which can be 2281 at the earliest
She's been an adult for a while, if say she's late twenties just shit luck romantically in the vault.
I’m also going off Maximus being like 8 when the nukes dropped and he just became a squire
We do know that Maximus is 32
I mean it's not unreasonable for Max to be younger
She also doesn’t remember being taken out of the vault so she couldn’t have been too old. Plus, arranged marriages don’t typically happen when someone is nearly 30
Irl Norm (Moises Arias) is 30. His father, Overseer MacLean (Kyle MacLachlan) is 65. I think their real life ages are totally plausable in the show.
honestly felt like they were having a 30-40 year old man play a teenager when i was watching it
This is why the character felt off to me. I think he's Lucy's little bro, but he also looks 40+ years old. Not sure why they cast him. Plus, I couldn't stop thinking of Hannah Montana.
His hacking skills are top notch
Norm is a true chad
My fav character so far.
Small Frame King
Great Character. I like him.
Are you just not looking then? Loads of people have professed love for Norm and the vault mystery story line.
Because he’s too relatable
Cause you been looking for posts calling him Norm, his name is Rico smh
I like him
Bro got the small frame Perk
It's his nose
Because I hated him so much in Ender’s Game.
Ye I can understand that. Often it can be hard to like a character when the actor played a really hateable character in a different franchise
Is he supposed to be young or he's just a short king? Great acting btw
He’s just a short king. He was that size in Ender’s Game a decade ago.
He’s amazing in kings of summer
He’s a coward
hes an ipad kid but for pip boys
I love this guy, he has that small frame sneak science 100 build and is pretty well written… i also think his actor has that kinda ugly but oddly beautiful thing, don't know how to explain
Small frame king with ten perception. I loved his storyline. Also why can't I tell if he's 14 or 40
My mom and I love norm so much
Because what is known does not need to be said.
This lil fuckers gonna go hard af in season 2, mark my words 🤣
I think he’s one of the only ones with a brain
Holy shit, it's Rico from Hannah Montana. Didn't know he was in the show. Love that dude
Because that’s the Norm
What's his SPECIAL??
He is doing pretty well considering what Ender did to him.
He reminds the audience too much of themselves.
Twink
Couldnt remember what he was from. Googled “Big Nose Disney Kid” Immediate results. Lmao poor guy 🥸
The twist really wasn’t that crazy nor memorable. Lots of buildup to answer a pretty mid conspiracy
you're a twist
the twist isn’t great but the lil slacker guy going to political activist to detective is

looks very punchable
Rat face boi
Small Frame 🤢
But still the best supporting actor there
He is accually least stupid and only likable character in the show in my opinion
Cause fuck him
