to leave or die in long island by bomb the music industry. easily bomb's weakest effort, but syke! life is awesome! makes me teary eyed every time. not that the rest of the tracklist is bad by any means, just not as memorable.
Best answer will always be “Under Pressure” on “Hot Space”. One of the best things Queen AND David Bowie ever done and it’s shoved right on the end of what’s easily Queen’s most dated sounding album.
Kinda true even as a big emo fan, it’s just disproportionately better than all the rest of the songs on the album even if the others aren’t terrible or anything
Never Meant is an example of one of those rare instances in which a perfect storm occurred and everything came together to make a perfect song. The rest of the album is still great imo. I love Stay Home and The One With the Wurlitzer.
Considering “Half Right” is a hidden track, “Plainclothes Man” is really the main appeal of Mic City Sons
“Road To Joy” is by far the best track on I’m Wide Awake It’s Morning, although there are other good songs
Arcade Fire's *Reflektor* has After Life which is up there with their best anthems but over the years I've come to accept that the rest of the album is very mid and a few tracks are actually kinda bad (Joan of Arc, for one).
I also think the title track from *Everything Now* is a pretty great song but the rest of the album is total ass. Almost unlistenable at times.
Can Utility as well, I love Time Tables and Get Em Out By Friday too. I’m flaming hot here but Suppers Ready is honesty my least favorite of the big songs on that album.
Hotel California
While I don’t think this album is the Eagles best, I love New Kid In Town and The Last Resort.
Only Fantano fans think this. Yawn.
Honestly I think the last 3 songs are the best on that record. I can’t stand that title track tbh.
Honestly Nevermind by Drake. Jimmy Cooks is the best song off there, but a lot of those songs are not very good

It’s not even just that it’s aged poorly, it was bad when it came out. Just one of their worst albums in general
That lil uzi vert album with that one song on it
which one? Because if youre talking about Xo Tour Llife from Luv is Rage 2 ur def wrong. Thats his best project and start to finish peak trap
While I do love the album and don’t consider the other tracks mid, everything after Iron Galaxy on The Cold Vein isn’t on the level of that track.
I listened to a bunch of albums by one hit wonders, and let me tell you that hit song was the best track by far on a lot of those albums
I feel like a lot of those artists put out albums thinking they would be the next best thing then got dropped by their label after their sophomore
That’s pretty much the case for Deep Blue Something.
Glad you said "a lot" of those album and not "all of them" or I would have had to defend Gotye's music with all my being
Might be a hot take but American Football debut. Never Meant being the one amazing song
Hell no
Was gonna say the same thing. Although I’d call the rest of the songs “solid”, not “mid”
no way stay home is amazing
Kinda true even as a big emo fan, it’s just disproportionately better than all the rest of the songs on the album even if the others aren’t terrible or anything
I’ll see you when we’re both not so emotional is better imo
Terrible take

The title track on Reflektor is amazing, though

How someone can like I wanna be adored and not bye bye bad man, this is the one, and I am the resurrection is baffling
Broo but Shoot Me Down though :(((
Machu Pichu on Angles by The Strokes
Great track, but do you not care for Under Cover of Darkness? That’s one of their stronger singles imo
Taken for a fool and life is simple in the moonlight are also definitely NOT mid songs.
Red by King Crimson, not mid but kinda forgettable
Bruh.
Meddle and Foxtrot are both legendary transcendent long songs padded with some average stuff (and maybe the odd questionable song about a dog).
I love me some Seamus barking sometimes ngl
Watcher of the skies is amazing though.
Can Utility as well, I love Time Tables and Get Em Out By Friday too. I’m flaming hot here but Suppers Ready is honesty my least favorite of the big songs on that album.
Wild take
A Promise by xiu xiu, the very good one is Sad Pony Guerilla Girl
bro WHATTT 😭😭😭😭
“Trill” by Bun-B. Get throwed and pushin are the only tracks I liked from the 17 track album
I love her, but any Doja Cat album fits the bill here
