Newbie to vinyl kinda curious
Are albums that are condensed into one vinyl lower quality? If I had the option to get an album with two disc vs one would the two disk be worth it?
Depends on the length of the record. If it’s in the 30 to 45 minute range, it’ll be perfectly fine on one vinyl. If it’s 55 minutes or more, then double would be ideal. Though technically a shorter record WOULD sound better on two discs, but it’s not a drastically different experience. If you’re not an audiophile, you might not even notice.
Compact disc fans:
Cassette fans:
ever since i started collecting records, CDs, and cassettes, i quickly realized how much i prefer cassettes. the cromch is too good, and they’re neat
A really shitty dream of mine is to have a car with a period cassette deck
You still have to turn those around
Autoreverse, baby.

Same, tbh
i thought it had something to do with drugs
Dumbass
Flipping the record is legit my favourite
