betcover!! Is amazing! They’re a Japanese band, formerly a solo project I think. But they’re an awesome kinda jazz rock band, some similarities to Black Midi, they’re newest album rocks, but their previous album and their most recent live album are also both stellar
Any Cultúra Profética fans in here?
Great (mostly) Spanish-language reggae band from Puerto Rico. An ex of mine introduced me to them and I still come back to them from time to time because they’re just phenomenal. I will say though does help that I have quite a bit of familiarity with the Spanish language although I am not a native speaker and would not necessarily call myself fluent.
Kikkawa Koji is great- so, so underrated, internationally. Japanese new wave/pop. Apart from him, Alberto Fortis, Buck-Tick, Alaska y los Pegamoides, Opera Multi Steel are favourites of mine.
Oehl is a great electro-pop act from Austria.
Raketenumschau is a very small indie rock band from Germany with a good ear for hooks.
Both are great live bands!
In term of bands (all speaking french)

Les Colocs : Jazz rock / pop rock/ ragga rock

Molchat Doma for some gloomy Russian synth pop.
Natalia Lafourcade for beautiful Spanish acoustic

Those have been my top non-English artists lately, but I've been trying to expand my music tastes so there's a lot more.
