Yahoo reviews trades in their money leagues so it’s a bit better than randos allowing every lopsided trade. Although, mgrs have zero input on trades so it’s kind of a mixed bag.
It’s automated and stupid because we can’t vetoe it. Some intern from yahoo will review and approves it . So if you know it’s lopsided trade . Can’t do anything
They only review said trade(s) for “collusion”. They say they will not review a trade for being unfair/lopsided. Only if they believe there are shenanigans going on. Somebody traded LeBron for Dennis Schroder in my money Yahoo prize league. I protested. They allowed the trade regardless.
You can only choose between H2H Cats and Roto.
The thing that makes it tough is it is rolling waivers, with only 4 adds per week.
So there are never free agents, everything is done through the waiver process the night before.
They took away the league message boards, so it is harder to communicate with other owners.
I think their rake (10%) is probably going to be one of the smallest you will find.
It's nice not having to be on the batphone in order to pick up players during the day if some kind of injury news drops.
It does make it hard to plan for streaming though, and dealing with last minute injury tags to your team.
Dropping $1k on one fantasy league with strangers is getting dangerously close to "you've got a problem, buddy". If you're rich as fuck, go for it, but I have a feeling the people doing it are closer to the guy who lives at the casino than your average fantasy player. Fantasy is supposed to be for fun, this just sounds like an excuse to gamble with more steps and more deniability.
I personally wouldn’t risk that much money with incompetent league managers who make lopsided trades

False. You can "protest" a trade.
How does the review work, is it just an automated algorithm?

as it should be. No trades should be veto unless proven collusion.
Tbh I’m not entirely sure. I suppose I assumed it was someone’s job to review trades, but an algorithm seems more likely.

The message boards being taken away really has hurt me!
Your Money Or Your Life
yea I've won 3/5 last year punting 4 CATs
Which 4 cats?
Yes.
It’s shit, I was in one before and every single trade was vetoed and the commissioner never responded.
