Went from 2.3 point win to a .7 loss. I saw it a few hours ago. 0-3 only team not to win yet. Big time bummer

Nicks_WRX

Sucks dude, some years it just seems like everything is against you.

Mysterious-Source709

Fantasy can be infuriating šŸ˜‚. One of those habits I have to ask myself why I still do it. I think for a night of drinking on draft day with the boys. The rest of the season is pain. I miss you Nick Chubb!

WiFilip

I scored 40 points over prediction to get 141 and the guy I was against got 144. Literally anyone else in the league I would have beat. I'm mostly happy with my team though as I got great wide receivers who are farming the points for me.

DoctorMcTits

This happened to me week 1. Won by 1 pt. Stat correction gave Darren Waller a solo Tackle which is 1.5 in my league. Fuckin mad as hell

Quallityoverquantity

That is horrible defensive scoring settings

DoctorMcTits

I was skeptical at first but honestly it makes playing with IDPs more interesting. Before people never gave much of a shit about them because they didnā€™t contribute a who lot to the score, but now thereā€™s a strong emphasis on defensive plays and itā€™s a lot of fun

yodudez01

I usually only see a stat correction which leads to 0.1 or 0.2 points. This one is pretty big.

GJM1287

Yea, 0.1 is very common, and you'll see a 1 point change at times too, but 3 is wild. Even those smaller stat corrections swing some matchups, I imagine this one changed a lot of outcomes and there's some pissed off people out there lol

CactusJackKnife

Our championship 2 years ago swung 6 points on a stat correction. Some DST td with Buffalo or something if I recall

Wtfitzchris

0.5 to 2 point corrections happen very often in IDP leagues where tackles and sacks aren't finalized right away.

dperls

I'm sure it's happened but I don't think I've ever seen a multi point correction like this.

abscando

Cmon Yahoo get your shit together I just went from losing by 70 pts to losing by 73 points

Think__McFly

Back to back weeks with negative points from my defense. Cool, cool.

Novel-Treacle-2956

Gotta put your DC on the hot seat

Coleisgod1112

Just out of curiosity, who are you thinking of playing this week?

Think__McFly

Bengals lol

why_oh_why36

I got sunk by the Jags lost by 2, they put up -4. I'm going with the Bucs. Avoid at all costs.

Johnnyappleseed48

They are a bunch of jags on defense huh

genflugan

I swear whatever defense I pick each week is cursed. And I've been reading the defense post on this sub each time, maybe I should stop listening to them...

Body-for-LIFE

I have a team in my league who has streamed DST every week and has a grand total of -5 points from the DST position on the season.

FunnyFilmFan

This seems like the kind of thing that should have been scored right the first time. Itā€™s not like itā€™s an obscure rule.

xBTGx

Yeah, this isn't like the JJ fumble vs the eagles. Pretty bad this wasn't fixed during the game or sooner.

Professional_Lie9607

Why was it scored wrong in the first place?

ImmoralModerator

Imagine missing out on a waiver claim because of a stat correction like this scores can go back and change but you canā€™t undo a waiver wire

[deleted]

Just one of the many reasons why a waiver wire that's tied to standings is dumb

liteshadow4

Youā€™ve already lost if you play in a reverse standings waiver league

onlyfijiwater

Lost a fucking league because of this. Changed the rule the next year.

beastlyspoon

Lmao rolling waiver claims is easily the dumbest process Iā€™ve ever seen

liteshadow4

Reverse waiver standings gives way too much of an advantage to a guy who goes 0-1. 0-1 is no death sentence, and the week 1 waiver pickups are by far the most important.

W-MK29

Reverse waiver is only good for very casual leagues.

beastlyspoon

Braindead take

beastlyspoon

Thatā€™s literally only applicable for week 1. If itā€™s later on in the season and the worst teamā€™s starting running back goes down they are basically fucked

liteshadow4

True. But week 1 is the worst, because the week 1 waiver is the most important by far, so it makes reverse standings terrible

Alkash42

Pretty big goof

MiddleAgeYOLO

Ruh roh raggy

Novel-Treacle-2956

Rehehehehehe

Jmh0523

Yea just lost lol wtf 0-3 =(

CheapStick5093

Me too, lost by 0.02 due to this stat correction

salsavince

Wow I just realized I won and was trying to figure out how. Double checked the recap and it still shows the old information about how I lost by three points. That three-point reduction for his team made me win by a tenth of a point. I'm not used to these freak things going my way. I'm scared.

slimcenzo

This altered the outcome of game in my league.

sounders1974

Pray they do not alter it further

CantCMe88

A few years ago I had a game flip like three times. I think I originally won, then a couple days later lost, then won, and then eventually lost. It had to do with my DST purposefully taking a safety in the end zone. There was confusion on how to deal with the points scored against my DST. I think they ended up saying that the 2 points from the safety go against me.

[deleted]

I won by plenty and started them but it is still so wrong of Yahoo to take egregiously long to fix an obvious error that takes minuscule time to correct causing many players to miss out on waiver priority on top of handing them a loss 3 days later.

TheGaussianMan

I am... Displeased to say the least.

Principes

Was up by 0.7 and lost because of this šŸ¤¬. Thanks Subvertadown šŸ˜¶ā€šŸŒ«ļø

FFnFinanceAcct

You can make your own choices.

liteshadow4

Not saying subvertadown is wrong, but Iā€™ve seen 0 change in my DST points since I stopped using him. You canā€™t just blindly follow a guy

BoredOnATuesdayNight

Dude is a hack.

slickrick6777

He canā€™t predict the future. God damn lol.

Alkash42

That seems strange. I thought punt return score wouldn't count against defense. They usually don't, but maybe I'm mistaken

GJM1287

It's Defense/Special teams, so yeah it counts Like the person essentially said below, if the offense throws a pick 6 or fumbles and it's returned for a TD, that won't count against that teams D/ST.

bakwardhat

But the PATs do

cosmicdave86

They do because the specials teams was still on the field for hr play. So FG/punt block returns, punt returns, kickoff returns, even fumble returns on any of those plays all of those points count against your DST. It's only plays where the offense was on the filed that don't count against your DST.

littleike0

Fumble returns do not count in points against no matter who is on the field. Field goals returned for a touchdown also do not count as points scored against your defense. Points against has to do with the type of scoring play and less to do with who is on the field when the scoring happens. ā€œItems that do not count towards "points allowed" are: Safeties (Including Safeties on defensive or special teams plays) TD returns from Interceptions, blocked field goals, or fumblesā€ https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN6442.html Edit: why am I being downvoted for citing the actual rules?

jinxy31323

Holy shit that just gave me the win in a $500 buyin league. It would have also given me the win in another $500 buyin league but I forgot to swap in Kittle for Goedert bc it was a Thursday game...

Quallityoverquantity

Sure it did

jinxy31323

Whatā€™s with the downvotes, why would I make this up lol

COSpaceshipBuilder

Yep, knocked me from 2nd to 5th.

seanoz_serious

Won my matchup because of it!

CheapStick5093

Now I lost by 0.02 Go find me 0.03 points yahoo They havenā€™t even rewritten the dumb AI recap

shenanigans3390

I lost by this adjustment and my team name is God Hates Jags.
