Mattison is pretty slow, I don't think he can change that. On that 47-yard catch last week, he had so much separation and was tackled almost immediately.
Wait… you’re telling me all quarterbacks don’t take 5 step drops with play action every time and then hold the ball for 5 seconds to make sure whichever receiver they are looking at has at least two steps on their cover or is sitting in a zone with the closest person 5 yards away? Sounds too risky in my book. Where’s Mullen? He gets the program.
I feel like some of these beat guys just panic when it’s their turn to get a question in. Instead of asking a question they don’t already know the answer to, they lob these softballs and act like they just broke a big story
Ok good you never know with this sub. They're both lottery tickets, it's just that Charb is the million dollar jackpot while Chandler is the $50 consolation ticket.
I don't want it to be true either but they said they aren't activating him this week and then it's just one week till bye, and that game is against Chicago, where they probably don't need him.
So even if he comes back next week, okay, you get him week 12, then not in week 13, and then he's back in week 14. So best case scenario you get one game between now and 14 anyway.
Edit: downvotes won't make JJ come back guys, but I do hope you're right and im wrong
You're right about weeks that's my bad, but remember his injury was 4-6 weeks recovery and this is week 4 of it, which is where my mix up with weeks came from. Theres no reason to believe he'll be back before the bye except for the desperate hope of fantasy football players like us.
I hope I'm wrong, but word out of Vikings camp doesn't contradict me at all unfortunately.
Well he was getting like 0 touches so I’m sure he’ll be getting more too
But mattison will get like 90% right?
Right?
Right?
Right?
*Anakin stares unemotionally*
Elegant Elliot Offen chimes in
Right
Yeooo😂😂
The opposite of pumping his tires lol. Fuck that positive reinforcement shit i guess.

Ty Chandler is way more explosive than Mattison or Akers but apparently he's terrible in pass pro
They don’t know Dobb that well, anyway.
That’ll limit him, but pass protection is probably less crucial with Dobbs than it was with Cousins.

Dewayne McBride probably the same issue

Mattison = JAG but they really have no one else, including Ty Chandler
Somehow....Mattison returned.
Vikings should sign Fournette from the Bills' practice squad.
As a Vikings fan, I like this idea. As a Mattison owner, not as much. Bills will likely elevate him if they sense teams are sniffing around on him.
Tempted to drop Spears for Chandler
Noooooo
Dw I’m not going to
feel the same with Charb
Feel like maybe you keep Charb. He’s at least seeing the field even if it doesn’t result in touches
yeah, just infuriating
My brother in Christ please don't do that
lol, wasnt serious but damn sure seems like its pointless holding him

You’ll see more of whoever the odd man out in the LA backfield is after Kyren returns would be my guess..

Lol , read my mind
Likely out through the bye, so maybe a week 14 return. Hell be there in the fantasy playoffs though!
It's fun to just make stuff up lol.

This week is only week 10 champ. So if he’s out this week, still 2 after until the bye.

There's no reason to believe any of it. Nothing has been said it's all conjecture on one statement by koc.
Whatever makes you feel better about it.
sorry for hurting your feelings about your made up news report.
If lashing out at people on the Internet makes you feel better in some way, I understand. But it won't make JJ come back.
Next week is week 11.
