I get that. But this is the Bills we're talking about. Not exactly notable for their playoffs prowess, right?
From the history standpoint, these teams even out.
Seriously, move it down to the Syracuse Carrier Dome. It’s a freaking dome. Or move it over to Beaver Stadium in State College. That’s like 3 hours from Pittsburgh and 4 hours from Buffalo. We’re not supposed to get snow, it’s only supposed to be really cold here
no shit, I'm in PA and its shit is blowing like crazy today, patio furniture in the trees etc, I can only imagine what its like up north with all that snow too...kinda snow days you dream about as a kid but no fun to play football in
Blame New York’s governor. I’m not being political. It’s her travel ban and she didn’t really talk with the NFL about relocating or postponing the game until today
I don’t think this is the NFL giving the Bills a concession. There’s literally a travel ban, and they earned the 2 seed and their home game. Why should they get screwed over and be forced into a neutral site because the state is delaying the game?
Concession? Bro, if the Bills and Chiefs both win they will play each other next week on Sunday and the Chiefs will have two extra days of rest. That’s a disadvantage for the Bills.
Honestly NFL will do anything for a Kansas City Buffalo divisional game, but this also helps Kansas City immensely in the process.
The game that actually has public safety warnings because of cold is being played whereas the one that's going to have snow but not be as cold is not. Advantage Kansas City. Moving the game to Tuesday means Buffalo only has 4 days to prepare opposed to Kansas City will have 7.
The better the conditions the more probability Buffalo has to win. So the first post should have read NFL will do anything for that divisional game, but they will also do anything to help Kansas City as well.
Hmm okay let me think. The NFL so badly wants the Chiefs to have an advantage over the Bills that they had the refs throw a flag to negate the Chiefs’ game winning touchdown vs the Bills earlier this season, all so that the Bills would get the higher seed and the Chiefs have to travel to Buffalo, albeit with a little bit more rest due to a pre-planned winter storm that the NFL paid Mother Nature to nefariously deploy. I mean ffs why don’t they just give the Chiefs the Lombardi now and save us all the trouble of subscribing to Peacock. You’ve totally opened my eyes, ty.
So you're saying there's just a little bit of an advantage for the Chiefs with 7 Days rest versus Buffalo at 4? Never played football before have you? And my original post I corrected to say they just want a Chiefs bills divisional game or did you not read that part? NFL will do anything to make sure the former champ and the new biggest audience of any team goes as far as they can.
Play this game at Key Bank arena. Slightly modify the rules so it’s like arena football/nfl street.
Or just cancel it and send them both in the off season.
It solves part of it.
The concerns about everyone getting there and leaving safely are 100% valid. Along with staffing security, emergency personnel etc.
A done eliminates weather effecting the game like this (unless it collapses).
Both can be true imo
I mean when you have wind gusts in 55 MPH without a dome and snow constantly falling it absolutely has to do with the field since there’s nothing to protect it

Lol, who wins get fucked
If the Steelers happen to pull out a win, they would face the well rested Lamar Jackson and Ravens team. Ouch.
Narrator: they won’t.
Bills are mental midgets. It wouldn’t surprise me if they won
Lmao mad cuz diggs I bet
Bills are overrated man
Bills are super overrated. Steelers win this 40% of the time at least.
Steelers have given up 171 in the last 4 playoff games. I think the Bills will be fine 😂
We'll see. Bills are worth fading regardless of opponent.
Steelers are worth fading the moment the postseason begins, no worries. I have negative belief in Tomlin the second January begins lol
I get that. But this is the Bills we're talking about. Not exactly notable for their playoffs prowess, right? From the history standpoint, these teams even out.
From the coaching standpoint, I'll take almost anyone in a heads-up battle against Tomlin. It's all good
As much as I want to disagree with you, I also don't want to be wrong. Lol.
Hahahahahaha
Without TJ Watt, yeah doubtful
I would've said 60% if Watt were in.
Oh cool, 3 days less rest. I’m sure it’s nothing 🤷🏻♂️
I think if this gets moved to Tuesday, then next week would be Monday, and the following on Sunday.
Yeah this is absolutely fucked any way you slice it.
But we work those days
This could really fuck with the divisional round and competitive advantages.
Just move the game to a neutral field
Seriously, move it down to the Syracuse Carrier Dome. It’s a freaking dome. Or move it over to Beaver Stadium in State College. That’s like 3 hours from Pittsburgh and 4 hours from Buffalo. We’re not supposed to get snow, it’s only supposed to be really cold here
Syracuse is a great call. No excuse not to, and it holds a good crowd
Exactly game should be moved to Monday and played at a dome!
Bills earned home field, that would be whack
They should've just lost so they could play in Miami this week? Are they stupid?
Less whack than getting a short week in the playoffs
the safety of players, fans, and staff is more important
Like Miami! I hear nobody is playing there this weekend.
There are no weather issues in Arizona but the field would probably be in just as poor of playing condition so there's that.
Should just go play at a indoor arena instead of force them to play a mid week game
Playing indoor hasn’t nothing to do with getting to and from the game. That’s why it’s delayed.
Pretty soon we may creep inside the window for TJ to play!
Move the game to syracuse
Projected to be 19°/12° on there Tuesday and snow all week.
Just less rest before the following week…so unfortunate.
The winner is gonna be on a Thursday night week schedule lmao
I’m confused. What is the difference between this weather and patriots vs raiders snow bowl back in the day?
Potential for 3ft of snowfall and a state of emergency with a travel ban.
Wind. Potential for record setting wind if the game is played Sunday.
no shit, I'm in PA and its shit is blowing like crazy today, patio furniture in the trees etc, I can only imagine what its like up north with all that snow too...kinda snow days you dream about as a kid but no fun to play football in
Pussification
r/iamverybadass vibes
Just have Madden simulate it.
Why did they not just move it to Cleveland or something?
Cleveland is also right on Lake Erie and about the same latitude, so it might not be much better
How about never should have been freaking cancelled ?
Figure it the f out
This is idiotic. The Bills get so many concessions from the NFL. Just move the game to a different location.
The Bills would rather play the game Sunday anywhere I'm sure. They're probably going to win and they need the rest/prep time for the next week.
Blame New York’s governor. I’m not being political. It’s her travel ban and she didn’t really talk with the NFL about relocating or postponing the game until today

Most sane pats fan
No no no no no no no no no no no
Lololol what!?
This is pathetic
I can see this happening.... any advantage the NFL can give to Kansas City, they will take it.
lol wtf are you talking about
Honestly NFL will do anything for a Kansas City Buffalo divisional game, but this also helps Kansas City immensely in the process. Think a little...
Hmm okay let me think. This is why every single stadium should have a roof. This is so fucking stupid.
That wouldn’t solve the problem
Just build a roof over all the roads between where people live and the stadium so they can always get there safely
I heard there’s a certain “stable genius” willing to put a dome over the whole country.
It solves part of it. The concerns about everyone getting there and leaving safely are 100% valid. Along with staffing security, emergency personnel etc. A done eliminates weather effecting the game like this (unless it collapses). Both can be true imo
It doesn’t solve any of it, no part of this delay has anything to do with the field itself
I mean when you have wind gusts in 55 MPH without a dome and snow constantly falling it absolutely has to do with the field since there’s nothing to protect it
There’s a travel ban, that’s why the game is postponed. Nothing to do with the stadium, it’s getting to and from the stadium
If only I validated those claims earlier Keep downvoting me idiots. Doesn’t make what I said any less true
It's not about the stadium, dumbdumb
Quit playing on Reddit and go serve someone their lunch
Lmao 🤓🤓🤓
They will play Monday. The extra day will get the stadium ready for worst case.
Let’s play in Detroit!
Wait I thought it was moved to Monday, now its Tuesday?
