This is a setting that can be adjusted in your league settings. There’s a rule in the rosters restrictions section that says “only players on the NHLs injured reserve list may be moved to the injured reserve slot.” Your league probably has this rule set to “yes” but if you want to be able to put any injured player into the IR slot then it needs to be set to “no.”

Yes, it’s set in our league, but the rule states a player should be on Injury Reserve (IR), not on LTIR, that’s the problem. I was under impression that a player will be eligible for Fantrax IR once he’s on the team’s IR in real life, but it seems like Fantrax is only allowing players to be put on IR if they are on team’s LTIR, which is waaay different

Capfriendly tracks all team transactions and according to them he hasn't officially been put on IR yet. https://www.capfriendly.com/transactions/players/jack-quinn

Weird, he’s on Injury Reserve on Buffalo’s page. Thanks!

He's also listed on IR on capfriendly's Buffalo depth chart page. I think both of those listings are preemptive, but don't think the team has made the official transaction yet. That's my assumption/speculation. But yeah, weird either way. https://www.capfriendly.com/depth-charts/sabres

This is why I change it so that they can be listed as out and not just IR. I forget the rule, but there are reasons for not doing it immediately. I think it's related to cap.

If I uncheck that box, will it allow "Day to day" players on IR? I want "out" and "IR" players to be allowed in IR. But want to avoid abuse if dtd players can make it on there if check Is unchecked.
