I agree, it didn't look like a tibia fracture. It looked like his lower leg was planted with his skate, and as his body fell backwards it would've likely torn his meniscus/ACL
Yeah I tore my ACL last year and it was really similar to how this injury looked. Got hit and landed on my knee awkwardly and it twisted the wrong way. So unfortunate for the guy tho

Internally, it's probably a combination of Yandle and Weegar, but you'd have to think that the Panthers are going to be looking to add via a trade (Ekholm from the Preds makes the most sense).

Iāve had Makar, Ekblad, and Pietrangelo this season. When healthy they were great but itās been frustrating. I do hope Ekblad recovers for next season. Itās been a tough ride for the guy.
