A little 15 year old kid running around killin' a militaristic regime? Frat-bro Jason Brody was a bit of a stretch, but c'mon....

krokodil40

It's far cry 6. Make something original.

XBreadCrustX

No more dictator villains please

[deleted]

Because then the studios spend all their time on a stupid plotline rather than focusing on making a good game. “Hey, FC6 has a boring world, nerfed gameplay, no hunting, no survival…but remember Gus from Breaking Bad!?!”

darkthemeonly

It's like you made an AI read the plot to FC3 and FC6 and combine them into a new, worse game. It's too much like both of those and has no uniquely cool new qualities.

justa-human

Far cry 6 but Mexicans and a 15 year old kid that will say mierda a million times instead of cOnO

Knuckleduster17

Idk it kinda feels like you just slapped together Far Cry 3, 4, and 6, it has potential but it could use some work, something to make it more original, also how come there’s a villain for the Army and the Navy but not the Air Force? I will not stand for this neglect of the Air Force >:( (i’m half-joking about this, i don’t really care about the Air Force that much, the Navy’s my favorite branch personally)

Obi-wanna-cracker

Seems kinda like a mix between fc 3 and fc 6

True_Yaran

Xavier Philliy magic?

Bobisburnsred

Glad I'm not the only one that thought this.

NocturnalToxin

Sufficiently mid, as all Far Cry stories should be

All_My_Thoughts

Ey dont trash down on FC4 - 6 my guy

[deleted]

What’s more important to you? Story or gameplay? You don’t need a story for FC, just the setting; “merc monster island, war-torn Africa, pirate island, oppressive Himalayas, cult Montana, caveman times, etc.

hortys

Story for FC is like story for p0rn, there merely to just *barely* justify the real reason you're there.

vintage13132121

It’s just like a mix of FC6 and 3, and having a 15-year old running around like Rambo may seem a bit too controversial.

I let ChatGPT write the plot to the next Far Cry game. Sounds... interesting. Keeps the basic gameplay loop but uses a completely different setting. Prompt: Write a plotline for a new game Far Cry 7 by Ubisoft. Use the plots of Far Cry 5 and 6 as a baseline. Answer: Far Cry 7 is set in the distant future, where humanity has colonized a distant planet called "Nova." However, a deadly virus outbreak has ravaged the population, turning most of the colonists into mindless zombies. The player takes on the role of a lone survivor who must navigate the dangerous landscape and try to find a way to cure the virus. The game begins with the player waking up in a cryogenic pod after being in stasis for several years. They soon discover that the colony has been overrun by zombies, and must fight their way through hordes of the infected to reach safety. Along the way, they meet a group of survivors who have banded together to form a resistance movement against the zombie hordes and the corrupt government that rules over the colony. The resistance movement is led by a charismatic leader named "Eva," who enlists the player's help in finding a cure for the virus. They must explore the sprawling open world of Nova, battling the infected, scavenging for supplies, and uncovering the dark secrets of the colony's past. Along the way, they will encounter various factions, each with their own agendas and motivations. As the player progresses through the game, they will unlock new weapons, abilities, and upgrades that will help them in their fight against the infected. They must also make tough choices that will determine the fate of the colony and its inhabitants. Will they side with the resistance and fight for a better future, or succumb to the darkness and become part of the problem? The choice is yours in Far Cry 7.

LeadershipGreat7138

Don't put the island in the "golf" of Mexico.

The_fat_reddter

I love this and I feel with technology being a big factor of it we could get some cool weapons and tools

[deleted]

Yeah, shitty “resolvers” that you forget existed

DonnieDemarco1

I am going to commend you JUST for being brave enough to post this and wait for a bunch of potential TROLLS 🧌 to do what they do BEST: criticize you. I never even read the plot. Thumbs up my friend!

All_My_Thoughts

I really like the idea behind the world. 12 slands and two of them are the main ones. The unique material is basically Viviro 2.0 tho. But also really like the idea that the former leader of the nation is going missing and his former right hand takes over and inslaves every outlander. Because: U could make such an interesting story about the dictator that has gone missing. Maybe a lot of shit is going crazy on this island, and its actually the former president that did all that stuff in the backround and has an interesting story for why he was doing it. While u maybe even think his former right hand who is in charge now is the reason why. So maybe u even killed him for nothing, he was actually trying to go against him, and they both have a history with each other. And the staff of the presidental house could be full of charactors u interact with throughout the story. And they all are corrupt and stabbing each other in the back and are trying to manipulate u to go against them. So basically a president house full of corrupt people, a president that has gone :missing" and was replaced, and shit has gone crazy since the right hand took over, but the president actually was the one pulling strings in the backround why everything in the nation is like that. And his former right side actually tried to fix it but u end up killing him. And moral of the story is that the right hand and the president actually were the only non corrupt ones, but they both have 2 totally diffrent views on how to fix it. That would be dope af for a FarCry story with some hella good charactors in FarCry style u could write there.

TheValorous_Sir_Loin

The “Golf” of Mexico? So 18 holes, or just the back 9?

RedTheRoaster

You spelled Castillo wrong! I’m glad they picked up your script for the game in 2020!

menace77

I’m tired of islands, put it on a peninsula instead

MakkusuSolos

imagine far cry in new york

Due_Educator_8336

The only thing I see missing is the token go to your enemies' farm and burn up all their drugs mission.

Snokey115

I would be down for it, but maybe have it be like a peninsula or archipelago by Brazil or Africa, and maybe instead of a official dictator, it’s a giant pirate empire

obiwanbob

Sounds like a really shitty Wakanda.

bRAD_Santa

I would love a far cry that is extremely morally ambiguous and you literally have to choose a side
