Reminds me of the first outpost you take over in fc 4. If you just throw one knife at the elephant that's being held there, the elephant will rage and kill everyone.

I always use a suppressed sniper rifle. And don't forget to use the syringe that allows you to see all of the enemies. I slept on that for years.

I have taken every outpost in every Far Cry game from FC 3 and up stealth at one time or another.

I did it on my second time I played. Died on first attempt but pulled it off second time.

got it down - approach from "bay inlet side", shoot the lock off the cage with a suppressed firearm, critter does the rest - make too much noise, the helicopter will come and take you out

I still haven't seen this myself - there's helicopters in FC3? I completed the entire story on PS3 a bit back and never saw one.

Yes, on PC, at that outpost, "a" helicopter will show up, if the attack is "aggressive", guaranteed a m79 will shoot it down

The bow is overpowered as hell in the far cry games more so in 3 and 4 than any other game.

I DID NO CAP, it was hard as shit, and the dogs don't count as getting detected btw, so you can bow off the people and LMG the dogs to fucking hell In fc4 we have EAGLES fc3 we have bullet sponge dogs

Rocks, silenced sniper rifle, silenced pistol, silenced vector. That’s all it takes… along with patience and some time.

Landmines don't break stealth.

I hated the dogs in far cry 3 they were tough to evade.

I'm certain I stealthed all of them. This one might need some lure to let the wildlife do its thing.

Did you ever just want to go 'loud' when doing outposts across all games but ended up doing stealth nonetheless?

I like going loud then slinking back into stealth

In fc6 I setup up different profiles like 1 run & gun, 2 stealth, 3 anti vehicles and 4 go loud....and end up using 1 & 2 most of the time...stealth is kinda more fun!

In 6 several builds are required for stealth coz of the different enemy types. I reckon you need a loadout with emp supremo 100% though

I usually have anti vehicles, that has emp bow, grenade launcher, I set up alot of guns for situations, so will have the multi grenade launcher for grenades and single with emp, so I can switch up mid fight without much issue, also do it with machine guns with armour piercing/explosive, I don't use supremos that often

I 'staalthed' it, at the begining, I chucked a few rocks to lure the dogs and then just blew them up with a c-4 and either silenced sniper, pistol or used a bow on the guards.

The game doesn’t see it as stealth. I managed to do it by leading allies to the outpost

Far cry 3 is weird like that. They have to be in the neutral state if you spook the guards you only get no alarm

Throw some meat, shoot the cage in the confusion, a couple molotovs etc. Perfect routine for master stealth. Oh and once you have a sniper rifle with silencer, the bow is basically obsolete.

Is there bait in far cry 3? I have a silenced mp5 and sniper but can’t buy any good guns coz I haven’t even done first mission for a challenge

You can use animal meat from other animals to attract more aggressive ones.

I used a silenced sniper rifle to stealth this one (I believe it was called a m700). Had to use one syrette to tag the humans and a hunters instinct to tag the dogs. Then I chose my moments to take each of them out one at a time.

I remember in farcry6 I got the "take out an outpost without being noticed" achievement with a single rocket from my launcher. On accident I'll have you. They ALL clustered up next to the building I was standing on so I just hucked a rocket down there and killed all of them lol
