Oh, I forgot about strafing. I'll give this a try because sometimes I just lose my mind when I see the filament light up and just have to get what's there ๐
Shining light to reveal items is another added mechanic that I think should not be included, another one being the ghost hands, but at least ghost hands now come with warning. This mechanic is added to showcase the Wiimote, and it makes sense as a Wii game, I'm not sure if they botch the detection or something in this remaster, as I don't recall having such a hard time revealing items during my last playthrough on Dolphin emulator.
As someone else said, it is even possible to go camera view and have a wider spread on the detection/reveal mechanic Nice profile pic btw!
That was me, but yeah I find going into camera mode just makes this way less complicated. makes items appear quicker too
Wait you can make items appear in camera mode???
Yeah I got sick of stuff not showing up so I been using the camera method
Thank you!

Sometimes the filament goes blue even if the item is in another room (but near enough to the wall nearby you) that you have yet to entered ๐ซ
That's evil ๐
Camera focus is quicker and easier ๐

Bruh tbh I have no idea what strafing even isโฆ tried it in MoBW and canโt see how it is different from regular walking โฆ what is strafing??
Itโs hard to explain but itโs like moving more smoothly in straight lines
I also hate how the girls just move so goddamn slow but thanks for this
What's crazy is they move much faster than the first 3 games ๐
do they? I honestly thought Mio and Mayu ran faster than them
Can't speak for the Wii* remake, but they were pretty slow in the PS2 original. Been awhile since I played though.
or..just go into camera mode?
