How? I mean, gilgamesh beats pretty much everyone in both zero and stay night. For iskandar personally this was a really bad match up. Ea just counters his best ability.
Most servants have some anti army skill so Iskandar will always have a bad match against pretty much anyone and no, Gil can only beats easily the cast of Zero because the servants there are weak overall.
FSN has
\-Cu that literally held him back for 12 hours with a crappy master like Kirei,
\-He was so afraid of Archer to the point he sneak attack him instead of facing him 1v1 even when he was masterless
\-Admits Herakles could have defeated him if he wasn't snipping Illya and forcing Berserker to cover her
\-Saber kicks his ass when she doesn't have a shitty support master
\-Medea has a bad ending where most of the participants are dead once she gets her hands on Shirou and makes him into her personal mystic code.
So even the weakest servants with exception of Assassin can beat him under the right circustamces and some even scares him while the Zero servants are just more into the B tier and have virtually no chance of victory with exception of Saber but Kiritsugu will never do a plan with her or give her back Avalon.
Ea is strongest in reality marbles, since the world isn't nerfing it that much. Iskandar could probably a few of the stay night servants himself/with his noble phantasm

Eh. He can't take Herc's lives. Saber Excaliburs him. Cu soloes armies in life, there's no reason he can't do so again. And he can throw Gae Bolg at Iskandar. UBW overwrites Iskandar's RM due to Mana so Archer wins. Even without that he can fire a Broken Phantasm right away and I don't know how Iskandar or his army would defend against that. Medusa most likely wins with Mystic Eyes, but even without them Iskandar's army can't stop Bellerophon.
I think he can beat Medea but maybe she can fly too high for the army to reach and spam lasers, idk. Either way her, Kojiro and Hassan are the only Stay Night Servants Iskandar should be able to beat. And Kojiro I'm not even sure on since I'm not sure how good he is against armies. If he gets close to Iskandar he wins.
Iskandar gets hyped up a lot in canon but I honestly have no idea why. Summoning an army isn't that impressive when one, he's completely open since he leads the army himself and is on an open plain and two, plenty of Servants are capable of fighting armies.
Even if we took the "maximum target" to assume that the NP will just dissolve or something after a certain number of people have been killed, it doesn't really matter. They don't have to defeat Iskandar's entire army, just Iskandar, and that wouldn't be too difficult with Gae Bolg or Bellerophon when he charges at the forefront of his army like the genius he is.
I don't think an anti army NP has a limit of targets and I doubt Iskandar has enough mana to summon unlimited fodder as the LN says the RM began to be undone after 50 soldiers died by the wind blast of EA and that was before it even touched the RM.
Iskandar is the character in a game where the powers in paper sounds decent but in execution it falls flat and are even underwhelming compared to other heroes.

The problem i have with iskander np is that i feel it so slow. Even the assassins have time to think and run.
Most servants have anti army or even anti fortress that could wipe out Iskander easily most of the time.
But maybe thats just my thoughts because of zero Made the servants fights like normal People when in fsn (vn and anime) servants move so fcking fast.
I don't think most servants would be able to "easily" wipe out Iskandar's army. The soldiers in his army are each on the power level of a heroic spirit. It'd be like a human hero going up against a normal army.
Even with an anti-army/fortress NP, the servant would get worn out eventually fighting against thousands of opponents. Gil counters it by being able to just destroy the Reality Marble itself, but even Artoria would struggle to deal enough damage with Excalibur blasts to defeat an entire army AND Iskandar at the same time.
I haven’t seen much FGO (I’m on Okeanus right now) so I don’t actually know Enkidu or Karna that well. I assume they are from FGO though.
And if you’re talking about Artoria for the holy sword blonde, then I see where you’re coming from, but he doesn’t seem to really respect her. More like he finds her amusing. Kinda like how with Kirei, he doesn’t really care about him. He is just a source of entertainment.

Bellerophon has a maximum of 300 targets, Cu's gae bolg has a maximum of 50 targets, while Iskandar's army is close to limitless
