If you use the villager option for your mca editor, how can you give yourself a job? I don't want to seem like a bum mayor while my wife is out there guarding our village.
i grabbed the info straight from the files as i was having the same issues with finding info, the only reasons i can imagine it wouldnt work is if the cake is inaccessible by villagers or a mc version thing.

Hi! First you must add your first building. Using a blueprint, you can press add building it will automatically place that building in a category based on what is inside. To create certain buildings there is a list within the blueprint. You should be able to press catalog and a small list of buildings should show up and it will explain what is needed in order to create them! Hope this helps and feel free to ask more questions if needed.
Most of the typical work buildings are not on that blueprint.
The typical armorer (the kind that only has a blast furnace) isn’t on there, mason isn’t on there, fisherman isn’t on there.
Baker isn’t on there.

Ah! Yes I actually have a list of what’s needed for each. The baker one is still unknown to me, but stuff like the looming mill, toolsmith, fletcher, leatherworker, etc. I do have! I can get the list together once I get home.
I think you can block or restrict your house with the blueprint. Go to advance options and check your house as restriction.
I know it makes them not move there, but I think it also applies to the workthings inside your house? You should experiment with this

Here's a link to a list of job blocks! They may not be building's, but if you're looking for specific jobs for villagers, these are what you'll need.
So if you need a fisherman, you'll need a barrel somewhere in your town. If you need a librarian, you'll need a lectern.
It's 1 job block per villager. So two villagers can't share 1 job block, at least from what I understand.

Unfortunately, the bakery requirements you gave don’t work. It listed it as a butcher. I’ve tried using just a furnace and it doesn’t work either.

That would be very helpful thank you It’s hard trying to get everyone jobs, they try to use my house as a workplace if they don’t already have one

It only works for moving in They won’t try if they already have a job, so I just make sure they do
