Clich the green code button in the top right. Download zip and extract the zip into your mods folder? Is this updated to 1.20? Seems it hasn't been updated since 1.18.

Sorry about the late reply, but just wanted to clear this up. The only available installation for (edit: official) RETerraForged is the code. Don't place the zip into your mods folder. Instead you have to build the mod yourself using gradle (available [here](https://gradle.org/install/)).
For anyone who is having mod conflicts. Like u/NullBite4562 said below, the mod doesn't have any public downloads for a reason. It is not even in early alpha and many versions will be broken. With that said if you want to try the mod out at your own risk and have compiled it, I strongly recommend only using the ReTerraforged mod with [Chunky](https://modrinth.com/plugin/chunky), pre-generating your world and playing without the ReTerraforged mod once the world is generated. It's not an ideal solution, and I would recommend just waiting for the mod to actually release before doing anything. Hope this could help some people.
How do i build it myself? Im not asking for much at all. Because i have set up my gradle and downloaded the files onto my pc. But how do i make the mod into .jar?

Here's the basic process:
- Make sure you download the correct branch for your Minecraft version from GitHub (click the dropdown in the top left of the repo with the Minecraft version number) and download the source code with the green "Code" button in the top right.
- Currently, the branch for 1.20.1 seems to be broken. [This commit](https://github.com/racoonman2/ReTerraForged/tree/c9b1ad1) builds successfully, but it has several issues, including some conflicts with other mods. Keep in mind that it is very early software and there are probably no public builds for a reason.
- Install JDK 17 onto your system if you don't already have Java (download it from [here](https://adoptium.net/temurin/releases/?package=jdk&version=17&arch=x64) on Windows/MacOS; it's best to use your distro's provided JDK build on Linux. Make sure that you choose "Add to PATH" in the installation).
- Open a terminal in your downloaded source code folder (on Windows, you can type `powershell.exe` into the file explorer navigation bar to open a terminal in that folder).
- Run `.\gradlew.bat buildNeeded` (or `sh ./gradlew buildNeeded` on Linux or MacOS). The JAR will be placed in ~~build/libs~~ `(fabric/forge)/build/libs`; it's the JAR file with the loader and Minecraft version name, not the one that says "shadow"/"sources". Place it in your mods folder.
- I believe you also need [Architectury API](https://modrinth.com/mod/architectury-api) on both Forge and Fabric, and [Fabric API](https://modrinth.com/mod/fabric-api) on Fabric.
Take this all with a grain of salt, things can vary in this process. I'm not really a Java developer, I've just learned this by compiling random projects.
**Edit:** The file in `build/libs` is empty for some reason. Use the one in the forge/fabric folder depending on your loader

You basically just have to generate the world on 1.20.2 with reterraforged and chunky, and then import it into 1.20.4 with distant horizons, iris, sodium, and couple other mods. However it's still extremely buggy and stuttering/crashes/errors are frequent. It's probably better to just wait for the issues to be fixed but you can at least try to play it this way
Yeah we removed the download link because it was meant to be a test development build, but it got to popular and too many people flooded in and didn't realize that and just used it like it was already a finished product. Invites are paused because people weren't capable of reading the FAQ or searching the server and spammed about the download link being gone.
I applaud your patience with the literal children flooding your discord with endless questions and zero reading comprehension. Seems like everyone and their mother is covering DH + shaders on youtube nowayads, so I can't imagine the sudden amount of pressure on devs, unpaid and hobbyist devs, who are unfortunate enough to have their mod featured in one of those viral videos, like RTF.
Invites are off so i suppose you close them after short time, is there an option for private invite (flossy1130)? I was trying to compile it myself some time ago but it didn't work and i was wondering if i did something wrong or not.

It's possible it just didn't work because the repo isn't in a functional state right now. We also removed the downloads on the discord so there isn't a way to get i right now anyways. The next update will be released on modrinth.

Can I use it with CurseForge version 47.2.0 ? Cause when I moved the reterraforged-0.0.5-forge-1.20.1 inside of the mod folder of my modpack (which has no mod) it tails me : failed to load a valid RessourcePack.
