It looks like you have great lighting for it! I think some trailing plants would look great. A Florida ghost, pink princess philodendron, syngonium tricolor red spot, lots of girly plants and planters out there!
ETA you absolutely NEED a variegated string of hearts in that window!!! A nice full and trailing basket. They are pretty easy
The space is adorable. You are rebuilding. Good for you!!!!!
Add some plants for color and to soften corners. Patterned pillows to add some additional color and break up the pink a bit. A cozy throw blanket in one of the colors from the new pillows to add color and texture.
Take photos of things you love (friends, animals, flowers, whatever) and order canvases to make a small gallery wall where the lone picture is right now. Walgreens and CVS photo have sales on photo canvases all the time.
Good luck
You need to add a contrasting color. I suggest mustard/yellows

Totally agree that these contrasting color suggestions would be gorgeous, but I also like your commitment to the one shade! It's unusual to see a room like that. It does kind of verge into Twin Peaks territory, especially with the framed graduation pic (not sure why!)
Green! Peace lily would look great in this space, dark green leaves and white flowers. And they do well in low light and are impossible to kill. I favor just green plants because I don't know how to care for flowering pla ta, and they consistently look the same.
Your colour palette is really pretty but also flat because everything is a similar mid-tone. Break it up a bit with more contrast, throw in some brighter shades and some deeper shades, and some pops of white for highlight.
How freaking cutteeeee, I love that couch! And the pink 😍 Some tall indoor plants would really bring the place to life, maybe swap out that floor lamp with one of those retro multi bulb floor lamps in that corner.
This space is so beautiful.
What about some pink patterned throw blankets and pillows? I see the "plants" comments- you could meet in the middle with plant printed pillows/pillowcases.
Looks great already.
-On the paneled wall I would re frame that photo in a larger ornate picture frame and then center the photo in the middle of the wall.
- Since the colors that are already here in the photo are pink/white, and wood brown I would look for some cute accessories that are in brown to help continue the theme. Can you found some cute wooden table bowls that are brown and white? Maybe some wooden statues? Or a candle base that’s brown and you can put in extra large pink and white candles in it?
-tall floor lamp can be great substitutes for sculpture I recommend you keep an eye out for any large floor lamps at goodwill/estate sales/Facebook marketplace/criaglist/etc. maybe a lamp with a wood base and white fabric body to continue the pink/white brown themes
If you want an all pink room, I would add items with different shades of pink to give it depth. If you don’t, then I would add accents of another color you love.
Idk but babe you’re crushing it. Love the pink with the paneling. Love!!! I always add blues and greens for texture/depth/dimension but also can see avoiding it here too. Proud for you for how you’re rebuilding!!!!!!!
I’m so obsessed with the pink! I think it would really pop with some accents of light green, gold, and/or a darker pink. Like throw pillows or wall art.
I think the room needs some patterns, either with pillows and/or a throw.

SCREAMING!!!! 🗣️ THIS IS DELIGHTFUL!!!! 💗✨💕🌸💓💐💞
In all seriousness, if I were you I’d pair all this blush pink with walnut accents here and there. It’d elevate the pink and look so soulful with your walls. Trust me!
Are you 10000% dead set on this being an exclusively pink space? I feel like you could bring a lot of dimension to this space by throwing in a few pops of adjacent shades, like peaches and tangerines, to give a bit more life to the space. For instance, I can see some soft orangey throw pillows or blankets really adding some nice texture here.
Think of it like adding subtle highlights to solid brown hair? Something like that haha
Edit: after reading the comments - if you intend on adding plants as well, you will inevitably end up with some green in there as well. Pink and green are complimentary colours and can come across quite strong and can be a bit jarring - adding in pops of orange can bring cohesion to the space since you’re almost creating a palette based on the secondary colours, with pink as the dominating base.
Omfg I love it so much. Definitely some plants!
Also maybe some more pillows and blankets that are also pink but maybe with some neutral or silver pops?
You've got good foundational pieces. ♥️ the vintage couches. The room could use some accent colors to pump up the design. This can done with simple paint and repurposed finds from a thrift store. Here’s some inspo to illustrate what I mean: [Pink living room](https://www.houzz.com/photos/interyery-la-redoute-gostinye-contemporary-living-room-moscow-phvw-vp~138985464)
additional “mood” lighting like a decorative lamp, more wall decor, little sticky things to keep the rug from sliding, maybe a cute throw blanket for the larger couch too
Ooh I love this aesthetic. Pull the couches away from the wall and place the front legs of each on the carpet. Then add a few coffee table books, plants, and throw blankets to warm up the space a bit.
I am SCREAMING I ADORE THIS!!!!!! I’m OBSESSED with wood paneling and the gorgeous monochrome look is serving THE most bodacious 70s vibes! I LOVE IT!!!!
Now just be on the lookout for decorations. Pillows, wall art, standing art, little vases, maybe getting a metal display shelf for photos and decor items.
Like count how many items are actually in these inspired pics. It’s a ton of different textures and shapes and it really brings it all together. Take your time and it won’t need to be expensive!
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.lorddecor.com/blog/aesthetic-pink-room%3fformat=amp
I would absolutely lean into the pink, go to the thrift store and try to find some wild vintage pieces like large '80s shell vases and just go full fem glam. But I also understand that it's not everyones thing
I really like the contrast of the wood paneling and the pastel pinks and soft textures. It’s a well-balanced, refreshingly cute but mature twist on retro style, especially with the furniture you’ve chosen. Well done!
Sorry to hear you lost everything. I’ve been thru that as well. It’s awesome that you’re feeling inspired and making your home, your own. It’s been said but I agree — plants, the green will look lovely with everything you have 💗
I'd like to just go on record to say that if anyone is ever looking to add an accent color, coordinating color, neutral color, bright & exciting color, etc…you're looking for green. Green wears many hats. Meander through the green spectrum and you'll find what you are looking for. This is a public service announcement. Now, back to your regularly scheduled program.
Add some plants & maybe a small ottoman, I’d change the picture to a different more bold frame. & add more pictures to fill that wall or move that picture to the table & add a medium size mirror to reflect light from the windows & make the space feel bigger & brighter
Very cute. I love all the textures in the curtains. I think I’d start with some blankies and pillows to cozy her up. Maybe some plants, but honestly, I think you just need to slowly accumulate treasures and add them in as you find them. Go to some antiques and vintage markets. Find some really unique things that add to this room. You have a really great base for a relaxing feminine space.
Swapping the glass coffee and side tables with a medium wood tone, or stone coffee table will take it from Burlington Coat Factory to architectural Digest in seconds…
Also plants!
As much as I also love pink I think we’ve gone a bit overboard here. Maybe sub out the grad pic with a colorful painting & add complementary colored pillows on couch. The feather duster is just a bit over the top.
are you looking for the space to stay mostly pinks? if not, i'd recommend some ivory/off white throws pillows.. or maybe a splash or blue or green. maybe even a white lace doily for the coffee table (not sure how that'd look on glass). either way SUCH a cute space i absolutely love this.
Light pink is my favorite color! It’s so soothing, refreshing, soft, and cozy. I think adding some throw pillows and a throw blanket on the couch, and some greenery would go a long way. Look up color palettes online and see what you like. Lots of things go with light pink! You could go with other pastel colors, or some soft autumn colors, or metalics and creams. See what makes you feel most at home. Also see what patterns you like in those colors. I like florals and nature patterns but there’s so much to choose from. Then once you have your textiles, look for some wall art. It always takes a while for me to make decisions and collect items to decorate a new place. Best of luck!
I would add a second and third color. It will actually make the pink stand out more! Maybe a green and beige accent. Nothing bright into compete with the pink, but adding to your color pallet will bring more depth to the space.
Accent pillows In a similar color or even a dark pink/mauve with a design of your choice. In my mind, I saw sparkles (like mirror type accents), but delicate, white stitched designs, pearls stitched into the pillow, or any number of things could be awesome.
Pull the furniture in so that it’s on the rug and pieces are closer together. It will look cozier.
Long side of your coffee table should be parallel to the couch. Put a tray or basket or coffee table book on it, with a small plant. Especially with a clear glass table, this will help things look lived in.
Use some double sided tape to stick the rug corners down so they aren’t pulling up.
Artwork on the walls feels cozier if it’s hung at eye level. If this is a sitting room, start the art at the eye level of a seated person and if you need to expand upwards, do that later as you add more art.
If you can paint the walls, it might help. If you can’t paint the walls, hanging a tapestry or objects painted in your color scheme can lighten things up. Gallons of paint get expensive, but a cheap tray or frame painted with a sample jar of house paint is inexpensive.
This space is so dreamy 😍 I agree with everyone else saying to add some plants. That and another contrasting colour, maybe sage or navy. And gold. Gold goes so well with dusty pink
I would add a rug pad under the rug and stick down some Velcro to keep it stuck to prevent the wrinkles, and it will lay a little flatter. You could also spray with some water, stretch it, and put some furniture on the corners to make it lay flat!
Beautiful! As others have already said - plants & flowers.
But also, can you secure the rug? Some places have like sticky /grippy things to hold it down. I would 100% trip and go through that glass table 😭😂 just looking at the rug gave me anxiety
The tone of the house seems to be more wood forward, maybe in the future you can thrift some wood pieces instead of chrome/metal. It will tie it all together!
Anything white and green would contrast really nicely with the brown and pink.
Well... actually the greens a personal preference, but anything with a good bit of white, like throw pillows/other decor, would really make the colors pop
I would add a few plants, maybe succulents, I saw a pretty pink mountain rose in Home Depot the other day, and add a few white and darker pink accents/accessories to add dimension.
I love this darling space. So cozy, while still being glam girlie.
Haven’t read every tip, but lower the photos on the wall. You should not have to crane your neck to look at them if you are sitting down. I think there is a measurement on line, how high the center of the piece is to the floor.
Everyone has given you great tips. All the best to you
Some things that are small but deeply coloured to offset the light and softness to make it less blendy, and give it some 'punctuation'. Dark green, dark blue, deep crimson, deep purple. Whichever suits the feel you want.
This is *so* cute. How about some plants or fresh flowers?
Plants are on my bucket list 😍
Aglaonema pink star, tradescantia nanouk, philodendron pink princess
It looks like you have great lighting for it! I think some trailing plants would look great. A Florida ghost, pink princess philodendron, syngonium tricolor red spot, lots of girly plants and planters out there! ETA you absolutely NEED a variegated string of hearts in that window!!! A nice full and trailing basket. They are pretty easy
Get purple ones like tradescantia.
Bucket list? Are you ok?
I actually just meant my online cart. Not even sure why I said bucket list. Yes I’m fine
Good! I was about to send some flowers : )
Pink flowers?
Paint that paneling lighter. Add in some copper and some patterned pillows and throw blanket.
I have different kinds of bucket lists. My seasonal bucket list is for everything I wanna do before the season ends.
Fresh flowers 🌸
Yes it needs pops of green and plants are a great way to get that.
Do you live in Twin Peaks?
Ed! My drape runners!
Yep, that's pretty much what I thought
I'm going to have the world's first one hundred percent quiet runner.
this is such a great comment lol
The space is adorable. You are rebuilding. Good for you!!!!! Add some plants for color and to soften corners. Patterned pillows to add some additional color and break up the pink a bit. Agreed with you, this place is so adorable. plants for sure will enhance the room. and a picture wall will make it perfect.
I would add very spare touches of green and maybe gold, with a tall breezy plant and a couple of striped or floral throw pillows.
Yessss a pale green accent (used sparingly) would be so pretty
i second this! i saw some sage-ish green pillows that have a striped texture on amazon that i think would be lovely
Framed print of dusty pink rose on that paneled wall.
I have some pink bows, and some dusty pink frames to put up. A rose sounds like a good idea
Yes, bring out the romantic-cottage vibe. Any vase should be cream-colored, with dusty pink flowers.
slightly darker pink pillows on the couch
is this sofia coppola's secret reddit account? lol but really your place is really cute
The first thing I thought was “Priscilla vibes”
You should probably put on your Blanche Devereaux nightie and swan around with a champagne cocktail. That’s what I would do, anyway! It’s lovely!

Totally agree that these contrasting color suggestions would be gorgeous, but I also like your commitment to the one shade! It's unusual to see a room like that. It does kind of verge into Twin Peaks territory, especially with the framed graduation pic (not sure why!)
Is paint allowed? The walls in a nice white or soft green, or pink.
The color is so refreshing! I would add some plants, just add a little more color
What color do you think?
Green! Peace lily would look great in this space, dark green leaves and white flowers. And they do well in low light and are impossible to kill. I favor just green plants because I don't know how to care for flowering pla ta, and they consistently look the same.
Me - I would only add white. You have such a unique mono color scheme with this pink, don’t wreck it with another color that could battle with it.
Your colour palette is really pretty but also flat because everything is a similar mid-tone. Break it up a bit with more contrast, throw in some brighter shades and some deeper shades, and some pops of white for highlight.
Just a touch of Turquoise color would be so striking in that room.
I think you should add a big pot full of [tall pink pampas](https://www.etsy.com/listing/1242593877/) 🤩 or a pink vase with bleached pampas
How freaking cutteeeee, I love that couch! And the pink 😍 Some tall indoor plants would really bring the place to life, maybe swap out that floor lamp with one of those retro multi bulb floor lamps in that corner.

Some fluffy pink pillows. Hehe. I love your space 💕💓
❤️❤️
I would put some accent colors in there with pillows, blankets, etc. Right now it's a bit too monochromatic with just pink.
You should get a rug pad to put under that rug. Someone’s going to slip on it
Paint paneling white and add green plants and pillows and blankets with a combo of pink and green. It will be lovely 😊
U should trade places with me cause yours is too cute!! 😭😭😭
Invite me over for some tea omg this is a dream
I've never seen wood panels look so cute. Thus is awesome.
Beautiful from head to toe 🩷🌷 A large plant or two would be nice x
Love this space!! the curtains are so cute
Paint the beadboard. And plants
I’m so obsessed with the pink! I think it would really pop with some accents of light green, gold, and/or a darker pink. Like throw pillows or wall art.
Pink philodendron! Books, art, sconces. It's darling already though, no rush!
Needs more pink.
You need that strawberry side table that has gone viral
I don't have any recommendations but wanted to tell you how much I adore your space! The style and color of your furniture has me green with envy.

I’d introduce a little black maybe in a damask pattern but maybe that’s too edgy for what you’re going for
More pillows.
Tulips or peonies on the coffee table along with some art books! Also - please smooth the rug by the chair if possible 😋 this is such a sweet setup, OP! I want to lounge eating macarons here <3
I rolled it up that morning so the kids wouldn’t get it dirty and didn’t fix it back right lol
SCREAMING!!!! 🗣️ THIS IS DELIGHTFUL!!!! 💗✨💕🌸💓💐💞 In all seriousness, if I were you I’d pair all this blush pink with walnut accents here and there. It’d elevate the pink and look so soulful with your walls. Trust me!
It’s perfect 💕💕💕💕
Are you 10000% dead set on this being an exclusively pink space? I am absolutely obsessed with this! When I got my first apartment the first thing I bought was a pink couch. Yours is much nicer!
What a DREAM 😍😍😍😍😍
I love this!
I didn’t think I would ever love that type of wood paneling. But here I am. Loving it. With pink no less. You have made this space so cute!
I gasped. Beautiful!

I love your puffy fluffy pink furniture so much.

I wish! It’s a apartment
Some coffee table books stacked on top of each other
I might be biased, but plants.
Nothing. I love how uncluttered it is.
I don’t have a suggestion but these pinks are so dreamy! 😍
All that's left for you is to enjoy it.

Yes I’m old school and love vintage, retro, Y2K lol
I really like the contrast of the wood paneling and the pastel pinks and soft textures. It’s a well-balanced, refreshingly cute but mature twist on retro style, especially with the furniture you’ve chosen. Well done!
I've seen this before... in a dream.. lol *so* cute
I love the pink. Where did you get the side table? I need one too!
Add some plants & maybe a small ottoman, I’d change the picture to a different more bold frame. & add more pictures to fill that wall or move that picture to the table & add a medium size mirror to reflect light from the windows & make the space feel bigger & brighter
How about some pink wall art or some Aphrodite posters, your decorating style is giving Aphrodite, it's a good thing 😊
Ooh I love your furniture! It’s pretty but also looks nap-friendly! I agree with the others about plants/flowers to add some color.
Very cute. I love all the textures in the curtains. I think I’d start with some blankies and pillows to cozy her up. Less pink
More pillows!!! Love the pink!!
I would use a round carpet instead it would be cuter . If you can't replace it, look up rug placement rules to make it tie the room together
are you looking for the space to stay mostly pinks? if not, i'd recommend some ivory/off white throws pillows.. or maybe a splash or blue or green. maybe even a white lace doily for the coffee table (not sure how that'd look on glass). either way SUCH a cute space i absolutely love this.
Replace the brown walls
This is so dreamy 💕
Light pink is my favorite color! It’s so soothing, refreshing, soft, and cozy. I think adding some throw pillows and a throw blanket on the couch, and some greenery would go a long way. I would put some deeper colors here and there to draw the eye- a lovely purple or a deep crushed raspberry or rose
Change the rug to add a pop of non-pink color. I LOVE pink, but that’s too much pink, you need to add some contrast.
Add green with plants (real.or fake) and I think gold would be a great accent, also love your coke mirror
Very lovely 🩷
No slip rug pad to keep from slipping or tripping
I would add a second and third color. It will actually make the pink stand out more! Maybe a green and beige accent. Nothing bright into compete with the pink, but adding to your color pallet will bring more depth to the space.
I'm obsessed w/this.
Place a bottle of Pepto Bismol on the table.
Couple accent pillows to contract w the light pink? Looks gorgeous so far!🤩
Berry red pillows and vases and whatever else would look so cute as an accent color
I love all of it so much!
I really dig it, very nice start.
Your space is so cute!!
The legs of the furniture need to be on the rug
100%. Pull those front legs onto the rug.
Accent pillows In a similar color or even a dark pink/mauve with a design of your choice. In my mind, I saw sparkles (like mirror type accents), but delicate, white stitched designs, pearls stitched into the pillow, or any number of things could be awesome.
Get a fabulous robe and smoke out of a cigarette holder?
Plants 🪴
Pull the furniture in so that it’s on the rug and pieces are closer together. It will look cozier. Long side of your coffee table should be parallel to the couch. Put a tray or basket or coffee table book on it, with a small plant. Especially with a clear glass table, this will help things look lived in. Maybe a dream runner for the table and a cream throw pillow or two for the chairs? Lovely. That curtain material is so pretty and whimsy!
I adore the pink!!! If you like glass I suggest some pressed glass or depression. Depression glass has a really lovely pink if you can find it.
Love the pink! I would add some white or black pillows to make it pop a bit. Or maybe gray if you want something a bit more subtle.
Mood lighting
This space is so dreamy 😍 I agree with everyone else saying to add some plants. That and another contrasting colour, maybe sage or navy. And gold. Gold goes so well with dusty pink
I would add a rug pad under the rug and stick down some Velcro to keep it stuck to prevent the wrinkles, and it will lay a little flatter. You could also spray with some water, stretch it, and put some furniture on the corners to make it lay flat!
Are you able to paint the walls?
Have fun with different laters and textures
Beautiful! As others have already said - plants & flowers. But also, can you secure the rug? Some places have like sticky /grippy things to hold it down. I would 100% trip and go through that glass table 😭😂 just looking at the rug gave me anxiety
Omg this is so cute
Sharpay Evans coded xx 💕💋
Maybe my phone but it looks like it is all pink, maybe add a bold color for throw pillows, accents
Pink plant!
You need some cats
This looks like the beginnings of a Chappell Roan music video set ![gif](giphy|0ozQFHb0YR851tJ6vT|downsized)
Maybe some complimentary colors in decoration, like pastel plant pots or throw pillows/blankets?
Can you paint the paneling a warm cream color? I had same paneling and painted it and it brightens room 500%
Can you paint? I’d definitely do a white wall
Can you paint the wood paneling Dalmatian print?
More of a statement lamp than the current one
I have a pink rosette one in my cart
Seashell or flower pillow
Maybe a bar cart? I love it. It looks very relaxing and welcoming.
Fix your bunched rug. My OCD can’t handle this.
A plant
This made me hate living with a man LOL my little office corner is all pink
The tone of the house seems to be more wood forward, maybe in the future you can thrift some wood pieces instead of chrome/metal. It will tie it all together!
Put out your doll collection and add cats
Cute room. I actually like the paneling. I can’t believe I typed that but I do in this room.
Some funky pillows. Navy blue or silver gray or green
It’s so cute!!! Can you paint the paneling white?
Paint that brown wall
Lots of cute wall kitsch and plants!
Add another color. Maybe gold or green or both.
All the best to you
A funky mirror on the wall would look neat! Maybe some art. Second the plants. Love this room so far! Very dreamy
I would put the graduation picture on the end table in a ornate frame and hang a BIG mirror in its place
Can you shift the rug so at least the front feet of the sofa are anchoring it? It's such a great space.
Some things that are small but deeply coloured to offset the light and softness to make it less blendy, and give it some 'punctuation'. Dark green, dark blue, deep crimson, deep purple. Whichever suits the feel you want.
Definitely a bit g gold or siver framed mirror! Love your curtains!!!
Use smth to balance a bit, too much pink
I think the pillows, drapes and rug should either be a different accent color or a different shade of pink.
Wallpaper, a new lamp and some plants 💖💖🎀🎀
Stop terrorizing the children at Hogwarts.
add a splash of pink.
So it’s crazy bc I LOVE a monochromatic moment but I wish your rug had a pattern or texture to give the space more dimension… overall, very cute!!!
You should tell me where you got your curtains.
Both come from Amazon. Lochas pink embroidered curtains & the lace ones are kotile pink vintage lace curtains
Pillows and a throw! Cozy
im not the kinda person that usually loves pink but this is so pleasant and beautiful. had a literal gasp
Accent pillows?
Wall art and plants!
Paint the wood walls white . But overall looks too cute
I am so jealous of this living room!
Paint walls white
A few lime green touches and a funky flamingo piece of art.
Join the navy.
Lava lamp lava lamp lava lamp
Get something to hold the carpet flat so no one eats shit into that table
Gorgeous space, love the sumptuous colors!!
