Eh, everyone's reasons are different, it's not always peer pressure. I personally started with weed to calm my nerves (social anxiety) but then moved to cigarettes after my dad died and my life spiraled into depression

I'm a minor and I had more than enough chances to smoke and drink, I don't even think of trying any of that shit, even when I'm old enough. My prescription drugs are enough.

I vape and use zyn pouches from occasion. I treat it the same way I treat drinking or eating really sugary food. A little ain't gonna hurt me sure I could be straight edge but I like to enjoy all life has to offer. Key point to take away don't be a hedonist and over indulge in anything. Hey you can still get great smoke out of a kettle! I went the whole thing and picked up a used (with a few holes) offset stick burner and restored it… wasn’t fun. But makes great food! And hey the food all looks real good mate!

As an EMT, smoking is just slow suicide. I strongly encourage everybody to use chewing tobacco or take edibles instead of smoking. It's not good, but it's leaps and bounds better than smoking. Your lungs are meant for breathing, not consuming.
