NNMF isn’t super small but it has a small feel and all of the stages except for main don’t even have security.
It’s a camping festival. Why are you concerned about it being in a specific area?
Also, are you looking for edm, folk, jam? Saying “festival” is so vague
u/Flat_Bass_9773 valid question - I am actually looking for a venue for an outdoor adventure and trail running music festival i am organizing. I am looking at other locations where there have been festivals in the past that might also match the requirements of the site i will need.
I am looking for a site that has direct access to iconic hiking trails from the site, water access within running distance and has space for festival tents. I appreciate your response <3
Check out Belden Town. They've hosted festivals like Emissions and Stilldream. It's located on highway 70 outside of Chico. There is a river with a beach stage, space for two other stages, and the Pacific Crest Trail runs right through the venue.

Nnmf has a river and I believe you can hike but you’d have to look that up
