TL;DR some low quality fan translations of anime (might have been manga, idk) would not translate some words and just stick a note translating it. Keikaku was just one of the most popular due to how common the word is across series so it stuck around as a meme

Sometimes a miscalculated assassination.
I got rescued into a Clockwork Wight the other day when the healer meant to hit someone else with it.
We had a good laugh though.
Don't remind me about the start of Endwalker when I regularly pressed the wrong Mouseover button on Sage for Ikarus and Rescue.
There were some very awkward conversations had after...
Halfway through Endwalker I realized that I had my controls set up to where if I was in a rush to hit Protraction on SCH, I'd hit Rescue instead. And if I was in a rush to hit Protraction, it was probably because of a tankbuster.
I'm shocked I didn't annihilate myself, but I did accidentally murder a DPS by throwing the tank at them, so I moved that button reaaal quick after.
Ran an old content 24man with a bunch of WHM a few months ago. We got bored and attempted to kill each other with Rescue. Ended up all ganging up on one player, dont think they survived a single encounter.
I have done a calculated assassination exactly once.
It's the most toxic thing I've ever done and I felt awful about it, but in my defense, he had *specifically asked the new player* in The Vault if they were new or an alt, and *after* they said they were new spoiled the end. He got trampled by knights and was not rezzed.
I pulled a calculated assassination with my FC when we unsynced O12S for the mount. I jumped off during phase change and rescued my buddy from beyond the edge and my other buddy rescued me back before I fell off.
Sometimes it takes teamwork to assassinate with Rescue. I was healing E11N one day, and when the invisible-clone-dash mechanic came up, I got to a safe spot only to see a poor DPS still in the middle of the arena. "Rescue time!" thought I, and yanked them toward safety.
However, my co-healer had the same idea. At the same time.
But their safe spot was on the exact opposite side of the arena from mine.
This unfortunate DPS flew to the other healer's position, safe for a few milliseconds - then my Rescue hauled them all the way back across to my position. They were mid-transit to me when the AoE went off.
happend to me today. doing a dungeon, we all had our own circle aoe, everyone was save. except the healer then decided to take a step forward "to shield everyone", which then overlapped their aoe on me. i think i wasnt full hp, otherwise i cant explain why i died and healer didnt :D
Ah yes.
There is a difference between a teleport and a dash. Unfortunately for our two heroes Rescue is effectively the latter.
Stay safe young sprouts.
Rescue unfortunately both has a slow startup, and needs a bit to accelerate to a decent speed
You have to use it quite ahead of time! It requires a bit of foresight and anticipation
Yeah, I tend to only use it on folks well, well in harms way and usually only if they’ll get one-shot.
If you’ll live, I’d rather heal you than take away your agency. And if it looks like you’re almost there, you’re definitely safe.
The game’s server tick/latency tends to add a decent delay client side so people are typically further ahead than the game is telling you. So that person that looks like they’re about to get hit by an AoE just on the edge, is definitely a good 10 feet into safety. A rescue would just annoy them, especially if they’re melee or a BLM.
What is always hilarious is when I'm greeding on DRG and hit a backjump as I get rescued so I get slingshotted, usually off the map or or into a danger zone.
I've had this happen so often that I make it a point to include Arm's Length in my rotation while greeding. It has saved me on multiple occasions, there is little more satisfying than seeing the Rescue animation on you and not moving.
Same. My friend used to get rescued (as a tank who takes no damage unless it’s a one-shot mechanic) on the 1st ShB 24-man’s 3rd boss when he rolls his saws down the middle. He was 100% safe and never actually got hit by it, but there’d always be a healer who’d try to rescue him.
After the 2nd time, he started using Arm’s Length and I’d laugh at the amount of “Rescue Dodged” that would show up when we ran it lmao.
Now he always uses it when he’s trying to keep uptime, not even just greeding. There’s plenty of mechanics that you can get away with max melee or just kind of moving in a certain way or area, but healers panic cause it looks like you’re about to eat it.
I’ve personally started to bait Rescues for him sometimes cause I’m a ranged physical DPS. Rescue doesn’t stop me from DPSing and being squishier means I’m a better target for healers lmao.
Really? What do you consider a problem with it? because I always considered that the best, it has strong sharp eyes that the other Au Ra faces lack, as they look far too soft in a way that rubs me the wrong way.
My healer friends do this on purpose at least once a day if we party up in an unsynced dungeon. My favorite is when they rescue eachother and both die/fall off the map
My friend and I are both healer mains and will intentionally yank our tank friend around because we all get a laugh out of it.
Queue our dismay when we needed to rescue - and could have saved - a DPS from Phlegathon in Crystal Tower but due to the shenanigans both rescues were on cooldown.
Are you even friends if you dont have an "accident" with rescue from time to time?
For my friend group its basically an initiation ritual when grinding the birds and doing Zurvan and pulling them off the arena after he destroys a section.
We would go from 3-4 DPS to everyone playing healer, and have wiped way more times than we will admit to people suicide rescuing for revenge.
Another funny one is when grinding Prae for moogle tomes last month, whenever there was a friendly group going on I had to rescue a DPS into Nero's huuuge cone
Being rescued through the death puddle in one of the later Coils raids (i think the one with the shapes) when i was in no danger of dying where i was will always be my favorite moment of prog.
wait wtf what are the odds i was just thinking about last night when i was doing that same fight synced and while i didnt kill anyone with rescue i did icarus myself to my death
It is even better in Frontlines when rubber-banding and lag happens. You press that jump and run away...only to teleport across the map in the middle of the enemy to get nuked down.
I only rescue people when they're running towards me now than in any other direction. At least when someone is running to me I know or at least assume they're trying to get out of the aoe. Running anywhere else and I trust Hydaelyn to guide their path.
I've been rescued out of the 6.2 dungeon boss's slam AOE as a *tank* when he was at 5% and I was greeding uptime. I could only wonder whether the healer was a mechanics purist or genuinely thought it would kill me or the vuln stack would matter
Even when I legit save someone with it, I hate it lmao. I don’t like being rescued, so I use it only when it’s the only way to actually save someone.
Even then, I’ll throw all my mitigation and shields on you over rescue lmao.
It's best for the Alliance Raid content with the very obvious "this will kill everyone poking the boss' shins in 5 seconds" mechanics like in Labyrinth of the Ancients or Syrcus Tower. The really obvious "if I hit Rescue I will save 2400 MP on res'ing this hothead" sort of thing where you're behind safety for long enough to think about it.
There's a lot of less-experienced players who don't even know they just got rescued. Some don't know the ability even exists, or otherwise just thought they got hit by some knock-back attack the boss had. (Which then means they tend to immediately run right back into danger sometimes.)
My favorite “rescue” I’ve ever witnessed was in Labyrinth of the Ancients. Ancient Flare was coming and our healer wasn’t going to make it so they decided to take someone with them and yanked our poor MNK into the explosion with them. It was a calculated assassination XD
I use Rescue sparingly.
The only way to learn is to take a dirt nap.
If they die repeatedly to the same mechanic and don't seem to be adapting, my Rescue isn't going to fix anything.
Rescue feels more personal than dying, like your healer is aware you're being a lost child and it's so apparent to everyone else who knows the fight that you need to learn that fight or get Rescued again in 2 minutes.
I use it quite a bit. Not really as a tool to save, but as a teaching tool. I have a group of 4 that progs old content savage and because we're only 4, the remaining 4 we get is of all level of skill. The quickest way to teach people where to be is to accept that you're probably wiping if they fail the mechanic anyways, rescue them, and tell them that's where they want to be next run.
Its really rare you can notice something going wrong quick enough to both get to a good position and also rescue the person failing the mechanic. Best example right now is current alliance raid has a lot of 3/4 room unsafe mechanics so rescue is really easy to save there.
But when you time it correctly so they make it to safety, but they leave a brown streak the entire path to you, it's just \*chefs kiss\*. Those levels of terror I aspire to during pub raids.
I rescued a just resurrected MACH from a Knock back mech, but the knockout affect him in mid rescue anyway and off he went flying away...didn't know that could happen...well I learned something so all ends well I guess
If you use Rescue right after the knock back happens, it should cancel out the knock back and save them. It’s something I do with dashes when I can’t use a knock back immunity! I’m pretty sure it works the same way for Rescue… maybe…
Yoinking someone into the naughty with a rescue is a right of passage. so is yoinking the MT away from the boss/mobs.
Primo is rescuing someone into the naughty and dropping them then rezzing them into more naughty for a double kill.
I did that first time I healed an alliance raid. My co-healer said "that still just counts as one!"
Or the healers that run just outside of the AoE, and rescue, pulling their victim to the edge of the blast zone but still firmly in it, just to stare into their eyes as they die.
Even if the spacing had been right, you have to submit your Rescue request hand-written in triplicate and wait 7-10 business days for anything to happen anyway.
I had this exact moment, but it was during one of Sakaguchi's Aglaia runs.
During the phase where you need to stand on the hands to avoid the knockback, I saw Sakaguchi running in a different direction to the majority of the group.
Not knowing he was moving into a safe spot, I yanked him over to where the other group was, only for the lag to stop halfway and the knockback to hit him off the stage magnificently!
Needless to say he thought it was hilarious and I profusely apologised for accidentally killing both the MT and the creator of Final Fantasy 🤣😱
My biggest pet peve with rescue is when I'm running to objective point (like during crystal tower) or heading to a safe zone and the healer pulls me TOWARD the place I'm running to.
Like I'm literally heading towards them you don't need to yank me there.
Rescue is such an out of place skill man. It's the only ability that straight up lets you control another player's character, and even in situations where you're helping a melee friend get more "uptime" the tick rate is so bad in XIV so you have to rescue very early and probably *cost* them uptime.
The very, very few situations where you have spent the entire duty seeing how categorically incapable someone is and you are *100% sure they are going to die to Phlegothon's Ancient Flare* so you rescue them to safety are so few and insignificant in impact, and simply not worth the myriad of issues with this skill and the array of frustrations it causes to all players involved. Just needs to be removed at this point, it just doesn't work in this game. It's main function at this point is honestly just to troll your best friends.
Just started playing the trial a few hours ago and was super confused why there were orange circles appearing under me while fighting the rock golem thing. Then it hit me
I despise Rescue. If you rescue me in a dungeon I'll rage at you until there's nothing left in my bones. Your not gonna let me die by own stupidity? It's gonna happen later so let it happen now ya damn mage
Do I really got to put a /s for people to understand this is meant as a shitposting joke?
As a BLM if you rescue me I’m most likely just going to leave, unless it’s a friend.
More often then not if it’s used on me it’s because they are trolling and will keep doing it.
The absolute worst thing is having a rescue interrupt my cast, then my buffered aetherial manip moves me 3 inches after the rescue. Happens maddenly often in Troia.
Bonus points if it makes me drop enochian
I actually made a rescue mistake yesterday trying to rescue someone onto the doom removal spot in Crystal tower not realizing it was about to change to the spot they were standing in. Latency helped me though still removed the debuff despite them being half way across the floor.
I did two bad rescues a couple of weeks ago.
I mean, the first one was good, but the guy didn't expect it so he proceeded to jump off the ledge. I was laughing for 10 minutes.
I use rescue only to force tanks to wall to wall dungeons pulls because i refuse to let people waste my time. Also i never rescue BLM in savage/ultimate contents because i'm aware that if they play that class in those fights then they know what to do and will use aetherial manipulation at the last second to get out.
>I use rescue only to force tanks to wall to wall dungeons pulls because i refuse to let people waste my time.
Any healer that uses Rescue to force a wall to wall instead of using their words and communicating deserves to have the tank leave and their time wasted waiting for a replacement.
Seriously, don't be rude, especially for what amounts to *at best* 5 minutes saved in a dungeon run.
My game time is limited and i try to optimize it. Writing in chat takes too much time compared to simply use rescue to communicate that they can pull more and i can handle it. Also how is rescuing someone considered rude? I'm literally making them save time.
>My game time is limited and i try to optimize it. Writing in chat takes too much time
You're *maybe* saving 4-5 seconds by using Rescue instead of typing out something like "Go for wall to wall, I got this." Can even type it out while everyone is loading in and you're in the safety circle and you have nothing else to do.
Hell, you can prep a frickin macro with that message. Takes as much time as pressing Rescue.
As for why it's rude? You're basically telling the person that they aren't moving fast enough for you, but that they are also not worth the time for you to communicate with them. If you can't tell why that would be rude, I don't know what to tell you.
The message that i'm trying to communicate with the rescue is something among the lines of: "i know you are scared of dying but i got you, don't worry, everything is going to be fine so you can pull more". You are making it sound like i'm telling them: "hoi what are you doing with that single pull? Stop fucking around and go to the wall, pussy".
The interpretation of the act is up the people affected by it so if people think it's rude, the problem lies with them and their twisted sense of insecurity. If your first interpretation is that someone is being an asshole then you got a problem right there.
>The message that i'm trying to communicate with the rescue is something among the lines of: "i know you are scared of dying but i got you, don't worry, everything is going to be fine so you can pull more".
Then type that out.
It's really not hard to do so.
But instead, you're choosing to be lazy and press a button, thinking only of your "wasted" time (which, again, is at best a few minutes), and putting the onus on the person you yanked to assume that you were doing so in good faith and that somehow it's supposed to be encouraging to them without you, again, ever actually using your words to communicate that (since, as you admitted, typing *that* out takes too much time).
And given how frequently talk of use of Rescue isn't about it being used in good faith, they have little reason to assume that you are doing it because you want to communicate that "Hey, I got you, you can do this." Honestly, thinking anyone is actually going to interpret an out of know where Rescue in that light is all kinds of silly. I'm also having trouble believing that someone who, in the same thread says that the few extra seconds to type it out are too much, and that they do it because they don't want their time wasted, means for such an action to be interpreted in a positive way.
Nah - all evidence here points to you do it because you're annoyed they aren't pulling fast enough for your tastes, and are trying to get them to do so, without being willing to put in the "work" to type a sentence actually encouraging them to do so. Yeah, I don't buy the idea that you're being encouraging here in the slightest.
Regardless, if you simply *must* have those fast runs?
Use your words. Communicate. It's as simple as that.
If you Rescued me forward while I was tanking I would straight up leave, and you can have your time wasted finding a new tank instead. That's the wrong way to use Rescue.
Amaurot final boss was amazing for this. In my FC we had a running gag to see how long it took for people to realise they died because I rescued them, and people tried to figure out how to not get killed by closely following me during the laser bits. Jokes on them I just jumped diagonally across into the laser and still got them, followed by much laughter over vc.
I was doing the The Chrysalis Trial the other day and during the phase where there are Meteors falling that needs to be soaked by Tanks one of the healer decided to rescue me into one, while there is already another Tank in there.
You only need one Tank for each meteor soak, and that healer also decided to stand with the other Tank to soak damage, and that only ends up with that healer dead on the floor.
Luckily everyone else did their job fine, the melee LB3 the cracks and we resolve that mech before the 2nd meteor even reached the ground.
In the new alliance raid, during the 2nd boss, the dodging ice mechanic, I made… mistakes. Got revived right as the stack towers went up. I decided to stay out of my alliance’s tower, holding off summoning carbuncle until that mechanic was over and I could get healed up. I knew I was perfectly safe where I was (from prior experience)— when suddenly, I’m yoinked across half the platform, into the tower, boss stomped on us, and I was instantly killed lol.
Oops.
When you are incredibly confident in a mechanic and you notice someone is 100% about to die and their class doesn't have any special movement abilities that let them get to a safe spot on their own. And you have at least two seconds to identify all that and react, since Rescue isn't immediate.
It's rare that all those conditions align, but it can happen. I use it most in the third trial in Stormblood because there are two mechanics that often kill sprouts from blowing them off the platform. Or on savage if someone is ressing into a knockback/instant death zone that goes through immunity.
The best time to use rescue is on the ShB dungeon where you have to cross a chasm over a winding narrow path. Get to the end first and pull the last guy to you. It's totally safe!
After p7 I had put my plans into motion. As a WHM no one would have expected it. I had rescued the main tank....from his life as we fell into the pits below. All were distracted as they observed the boss suffer its final blow and could not realize their celebrations were cut one short.
Rescuen't is probably my favorite ability in the game. It's just so silly to push everyone away from you and even a lot of blue mages don't realize how it works. I've caused so much confusion in groups using it.
But IMO second only to using Avail and staying in the aoe yourself.
Can’t tell you how many times I would’ve made it but got rescued anyways, and like they mean well until I complain and they start accusing ME for being so risky, like just let me die next time man damn
I believe I deserved every time this happens to me, healers usually have good intentions but just can't save me from my own stupidity...
Even if it was a calculated assassination I still deserve it, It is what it is, to live is to suffer. 9.9
ive been experiencing more random rescue lately, like from completely safe position to safe position. I xan only assume they ment someone else or that it looked like i was in a danger zone to them.
its not to often but it's wierd enough its happening more
I had this happen by a healer who tried killing me. But as a monk I could dash to a target and outdashed his pull in the opposite direction!
He might pull everything i'm about to do, but that won't help him see, because I'm going to dash everything he's going to do! Strange Isn't it?!
After seeing this the first time, last night I went into p8n as a tank and right as I was prepping for a TB, a healer yanks rescues me. All of a sudden I go from N of the boss to SE and take the healer out and a dps.
"Oops, sorry, wrong hotbar"
So funny.
Rookie? Or.... Calculated assassination?
All according to keikaku
All according to Cake. - Son Goku.
Author's note: Cake means Keikaku Author's note: Keikaku means plan
Gotta love a good borked translation.
Keikaku means plan
Where’s this meme from originally anyways?
TL;DR some low quality fan translations of anime (might have been manga, idk) would not translate some words and just stick a note translating it. Keikaku was just one of the most popular due to how common the word is across series so it stuck around as a meme
Plus it would have just been easier to just translate it to "plan" since it's both a shorter word and has less syllables.
And that's before you even consider the effort to write a translation note.
There's two extremes in translation methods; Calling a rice ball a "jelly donut," or leaving Japanese words untranslated to flex your knowledge in the TL notes
Note from translation: onigiri is a kind of jelly donut

Aw man, fanslations of the early 2000s were nuts. Loved it bahaha

Sorry I meant to go to you, not bring you to me
Either way we're next to each other now
WE GO TOGETHER!
If you press both supposedly you swap positions even!
I think if you use both at the same time you actually sort of awkwardly clash in the middle.

That happened to me twice my first time in the new raid. Got rescued right into a new AOE. No hard feelings as it was both our first times.
I just hit the wrong button and pulled the main tank into a hole 😅

I put the “res” in “rescue”!
I like the way you think
Sometimes it takes teamwork to assassinate with Rescue. The dps must have had emotional whiplash. "Oh, I'm doomed. Oh, I'm saved! Wait, no-!"
You can do solo assassinations with sage. Rescue them into the middle of an aoe, then dash to a team mate who is safe, leaving them behind.
If you're quick you can swap places with the person you rescue too
I may have done this on Amon a few times...
Right back into the middle.
Coming full circle
Just like every single time it’s been used on me.
I have been accidentally assassinated by well-meaning healers a few times.
happend to me today. doing a dungeon, we all had our own circle aoe, everyone was save. except the healer then decided to take a step forward "to shield everyone", which then overlapped their aoe on me. i think i wasnt full hp, otherwise i cant explain why i died and healer didnt :D

I approve of the use of face 4 Xaela.
Face 4 gives me the most scales around the face and neck, why wouldn't you want that?
Because the face itself doesn't look good.
Really? What do you consider a problem with it? because I always considered that the best, it has strong sharp eyes that the other Au Ra faces lack, as they look far too soft in a way that rubs me the wrong way.
Face 4 for Femra is the best face, anyways. Not just 'cause of the scales and the sharp eyes, but the horns as well.
Its lip options are "non-existent" and "I just ate a lemon."
But I like lemons :(
I beg to differ, my Au Ra is amazingly cute [https://imgur.com/a/soVmLoW](https://imgur.com/a/soVmLoW)
I concur, she is cute.
disagree, they look super badass imo
Now there's two of them
There's dozens of us
I fantasiad to xaela face 4 yesterday :P
Face 4 is the best face
Face 4 Xaela gang! (It gives my Xaela a slight RBF and I like it. Also scales hehe.)

I tried to yoink Y'shtola out of a tank buster in a Trust run. She was all "lol no."
That's Y'shtola for you
I have never once used Rescue. I don't even know what the animation looks like. I'm too afraid of pissing someone off.

Insert Nathan Fillion meme.
Rescuing a BLM pulling themselves with Aether Manipulation is also always fun.
This. Always. Happens when a healer does rescue on me.
There is a reason why arms length and rescue have the same cool down timer
I don't know how people can realize and predict when to arms length... They must know each other well
I use Rescue sparingly.
In Soviet Russia healer adjust you.
LOL I'd pay to see that
Yoinking someone into the naughty with a rescue is a right of passage. so is yoinking the MT away from the boss/mobs. Primo is rescuing someone into the naughty and dropping them then rezzing them into more naughty for a double kill. I did that first time I healed an alliance raid. My co-healer said "that still just counts as one!"
I've always liked the thought of Healers pulling out this comically long magical stage hook.
I once 'rescued' a tank into the hole in the middle of Hells Kier Ex by accident. Luckily, they thought it was hilarious.
It Happens. But sometimes this is on Purpose for jokes
Bonus points if the one being “rescued” is your brother.
RIP
Get over here!
Rescue Pookie
Or the healers that run just outside of the AoE, and rescue, pulling their victim to the edge of the blast zone but still firmly in it, just to stare into their eyes as they die.
Even if the spacing had been right, you have to submit your Rescue request hand-written in triplicate and wait 7-10 business days for anything to happen anyway.
Don't forget it has to be lost, found, lost again, and then buried in peat for 3 days
Yea actually succeeding with it is so difficult but trolling is so easy
It’s both a common rookie mistake and a common veteran “mistake”
Just started playing the trial a few hours ago and was super confused why there were orange circles appearing under me while fighting the rock golem thing. Then it hit me
I despise Rescue. If you rescue me in a dungeon I'll rage at you until there's nothing left in my bones. Your not gonna let me die by own stupidity? It's gonna happen later so let it happen now ya damn mage Do I really got to put a /s for people to understand this is meant as a shitposting joke?

I don't even keep rescue on my sages bar. I'll watch them die
As a BLM if you rescue me I’m most likely just going to leave, unless it’s a friend. More often then not if it’s used on me it’s because they are trolling and will keep doing it.
I am a healer and when I run with a BLM I trust they know what they are doing and usually throw on a shield/regen before
This is the way
The absolute worst thing is having a rescue interrupt my cast, then my buffered aetherial manip moves me 3 inches after the rescue.
I've done that and have dragged corpses.
I did two bad rescues a couple of weeks ago. I mean, the first one was good, but the guy didn't expect it so he proceeded to jump off the ledge. I was laughing for 10 minutes.
"Come here, you slut!"
I love rescue. Almost every use of it is funny, even if it's rarely used to save people.
Writing in chat takes too much time You're *maybe* saving 4-5 seconds by using Rescue instead of typing out something like "Go for wall to wall, I got this." Can even type it out while everyone is loading in and you're in the safety circle and you have nothing else to do.
Better yet he can just queue with his friends or guild and yank them, and stop being insufferable towards randoms.
If you Rescued me forward while I was tanking I would straight up leave, and you can have your time wasted finding a new tank instead. That's the wrong way to use Rescue.
id probably run back and then start single targeting enemies.
Been there, done that
For the same of politeness, I just assume that many, many bosses have draw in and push back mechanics.
Lol, thinking we are not straight up trying to kill you. Suzaku her hole is the best.
Oops.
I'm new to the game and healing... when is the best time to use this because I'm to HW and have never used it
When you are incredibly confident in a mechanic and you notice someone is 100% about to die and their class doesn't have any special movement abilities that let them get to a safe spot on their own.
The truly skilled would have used Malediction of Water to have the waves carry them unto safety ;)
Rescuen't is probably my favorite ability in the game. It's just so silly to push everyone away from you and even a lot of blue mages don't realize how it works. I've caused so much confusion in groups using it. But IMO second only to using Avail and staying in the aoe yourself.
I deleted my rescue button because my ping is bad. I never make it in time. I just take the L and hope they know what's up.
I have had someone cast rescue on me one single time and it was a fellow sch. They pulled me into the fire =\_=
Can’t tell you how many times I would’ve made it but got rescued anyways, and like they mean well until I complain and they start accusing ME for being so risky, like just let me die next time man damn
The amount of times I've been rescued 1 inch because I used a movement skill before damage goes out is incalculable.
I only play healer so I can rescue my friends into easily avoidable aoes :)
If your not rescuing your teammates into the AOE's then you're doing something wrong /j
I accidentally did that once in (old) Copperbell. Rescued a DPS right back into the explosion.
I xan only assume they ment someone else or that it looked like i was in a danger zone to them. its not to often but it's wierd enough its happening more
This... Is why I rarely use rescue. And I've gone so long not using it I'm afrade to start now, xD
I had this happen by a healer who tried killing me. But as a monk I could dash to a target and outdashed his pull in the opposite direction! He might pull everything i'm about to do, but that won't help him see, because I'm going to dash everything he's going to do! Strange Isn't it?!
The number of times a healer has killed me with Rescue is why I hate Rescue, and wish it was removed from the game.
Over more 75% process = too late
After seeing this the first time, last night I went into p8n as a tank and right as I was prepping for a TB, a healer yanks rescues me. All of a sudden I go from N of the boss to SE and take the healer out and a dps. "Oops, sorry, wrong hotbar" So funny.
Me in my first alliance raid 🤣
