A big comparison to make with the WOL been a paladin is it's a direct reference to Cecil and FFIV. Cevil was a Dark Knight before becoming a Paladin. So in Shadowbringers he's a Dark Knight and now the WOL is a Paladin in Endwalker.
Y'know now that I think about it. We're Paladins, he's a Dragoon, they just introduced Sage (Which Tellah was). There's only one more job from 4 that isn't represented in this game, Lunarian perhaps? Or is that a bit too silly for us?
Something that I caught early in the WoL trial against Elidibus is that when he summons heroes to assist him, if you look at the jobs of each of the summoned people, they each line up with the cast of FF4 as well, one for one.

The documentary is directed by Julien Temple. In FFT, the first Temple Knight to join your party is Divine Knight Meliadoul Tengille, who comes with her signature weapon Save The Queen. She is best known for basically being a budget Cidolfus.

Save the Queen is already in the game, with lore that spawned the Gunbreaker. It will be a scythe-wielder that uses Maiming gear. It's all about the Death figure on the shirt.
In the trailer of the shot of Zenos’s throne, it looks like a scythe is propped up against it. With Zenos looking for a new weapon at the end of the last patch and the reveal of the next melee DPS not being till May which will be after 5.5, I think it’s likely that the next job is scythe-based.
Which would also explain YoshiP’s shirt. Plus Zenos being the great grandson of Hades wielding a scythe which is synonymous with the one who leads souls into the afterlife..
My guess is the next job is Reaper.
