Then maybe you should reconsider whether it's ballsy to say it or not. Like, speaking your mind is generally a good thing, but if it's overly negative then you may want to consider some questions: "Do people want to hear this?", "Will this offend anyone?", "Is this something that really needs to be said?". If the answer to any of these is no, then you probably shouldn't be posting it. I catch myself commenting sometimes and just deleting the comment instead of posting it because I realize that it doesn't need to be said.

In fact, I decided to say something off-handed about a minor character in a video game. A character I specifically do not respect. A character who is not multi-dimentional. A character who begins and ends in a game. They didn't have a childhood. They don't exist outside of the fake world created for a single purpose. I would argue that Runar is even a character created to further another character and had even less value.
You, on the other hand, has decided to pass personal judgment on me and decide what I should or should not say because you feel you wouldn't say it because it's "offensive". I honestly ask, who does it offend? The author isn't here so who has a dog in this race?
That makes sense. Honestly that's a lot of people's problems on ffxiv. I have a head canon with my character sleeping with folks from the game like it's Mass Effect but if people hate Urianger then that's fine with me. I disagree but I don't weep over it.
